favourite legend: the story of Cassandra, the daughter of King Pram of Troy, who was granted the gift of foresight by Apollo, but spurned his advances and therefore he decreed that all of her prophecies would be met with disbelief. She tried to warn the soldiers of Troy not to take the horse, because there were soldiers inside, but they all thought she was insane and didn't listen.
So now, "Cassandra" signifies someone who is always prophesysing gloom and doom and is generally negative... I've good a fucking cool name...
