notes     volume three -my favourite dreams of you still wash ashore- The townspeople recognize Rod as the sole survivor of the Azaru, and Kukuru brings him to Hilda and Sherill, who is getting sicker. Hilda begins to have a sort of flashback because of Rod, saying that "I feel like I know this moment already". Rod professes his love for Hilda, and goes to fight Laures. Rod's power is named- he can lessen physical pain of others by absorbing it into himself, and nearly collapses. Rabi takes over, ordering Rod's bodygaurds around for him to be able to rest. Rabi decides to reveal to Rod that he is really Maruka, that he is merely a vessel for her soul. Maruka, in Rabi's body, convinces Rod to do her bidding. Tetei kidnaps Hilda for Berk. In a fit of jealousy, he tells her that Laure sonly loves her as the reincarnation of Erise, his lover from a past life, who was killed by Marion. Laures is lured into the castle by Zadei. Sherill, who witnessed the kidnapping, hails a cairrage to take her to Berk, whom she suspects mugfht have something to do with the kidnapping. Zadei tells Hilda that Laures is really a demon. Hilda finds herself unable to hate him...     notes     volume four -scraping through my head- Berk begins to become affected by the demon ki in the castle. Sherill is found once again by Teteiyusu, who decides to care for her, protecting her from Zadei. But Berk's servant, Zizi, is out to kill him, beacause of what his plan to make the castle a demon castle has done to her master. On her way to warn him, she hears about Tetei and Zadei's plans for Hilda's death. Tetei gives Zadei an earring, which he says will amplify his demonic powers during the impending confronttation with Laures. The earring is really a means for Tetei to drain Zadei's power so he can be sure Hilda will be killed and Laures will live. Sherill runs into Rod, and they go to the East Tower to set Hilda free, but Tetei interrupts. Sherill ends up throwing herself out of the tower, comitting suicide, knowing it was her fault that Hilda went to Berk's for money and in doing so, caught his eye. Tetei tries to save her, but Zizi stops him, and she dies. Tetei decides to "make opportunity of" Sherill's death, and calls out a spell that forms a forest around the castle. Laures points out that the earring from Tetei is made of silver demon grass, which supposedly drains a demon's power and causes tham to go mad. Zadei is fairly pissed about this (understanably), and takes it out on Tetei later on ^-^*... Berk decides to start a fire so he will perish in his castle with Laures (a double suicide). Tetei prevents Hilda and Rod from going to save Laures, but Laures, who escaped, manipulated Tetei into leaving Hilda alone, saying "if you kill her, then you must turn the blade on me". Tetei leaves Hilda alone, but tries to get him to bring Hilda into the demon world while the castle and grounds still are full of ki. Rod reveals to Hilda that it was Laures who took her memories away. Laures does not deny this, and Hilda ia angry at him, yet cannot hate him. Tetei revives Sherill to use her to kill Hilda by telling her taht he can save her from the pain if Hilda is dead, but Laures senses that she is merely a demon, and kills her. Hilda is angry at him for killing her, yet her hate is not strogn enough for her to stop loving him... Zadei finds Teteiyusu adnd makes the wood form a solid wall. He is angry at Tetei for tricking him, and using his affections against him, so he *ahem* rapes him, then tries to kill him. He can't, because of his own affections for the angel-demon.
