BAND BIOGRAPHY
A story of how Exit-5 came to be:
Some bands come together the first time, jam, and you can tell that they're gonna be big someday. Not Exit-5. Diego and Jule came over to Mikes house sometime back in November, and boy did they suck! 3 chorded Blink182 songs were all they played. Mike got scared of Jules bass playing abilities, Jule was scared that Case was gonna beat him up, Case was scared of Diego's beard, and Diego feared that one of us might be gay. So once they put aside their differences, they started making music. With the traditional solo or two, Diego writes the songs, and the rest of the band backs him up with good looks and a friendly butt-slap. With Jule slapping some funky bass tunes, and Case with his "Wipeout" revival tunes, Exit-5 is armed with a melodic band of punk rock kids, who all have nice houses, go to a rich school, and well, aren't punk rock at all. With their first "CD" of ghetto basement recording, their first leap of stardom came after they made 145 bucks in CD sales. Their live shows are the best, as they suck in the studio, but they have a lot of energy. So that's where Exit-5 stands to this day, they hope to get in a real recording studio someday, if the studio doesn't laugh and say, "we're actually serious about our music."
