Killinger Ave > Shyam
Shyam - Vocals
On the 27th of September, Shyam came out of the womb content. For his first few minutes in this brave new world, he stayed content but upon hearing Ronald Regan was the president, he burst into tears. In his early years he had a fondness for music, but for the most part his childhood was normal (weird, considering how he turned out).
Since the 3rd grade he had been a poet, something he had picked up merely to prove he was better than all the other people in his school he knew who recieved attention for his poetry. Within a month he was known as "Poet Walla" for his third grade level masterpieces such as "Manish Can" and his series about his made up friends Fuddy and C.L.A.W. (don't call him claw). All these works he would deny ever writing now, but then he even impressed teachers with his control of language.
Around the age of 13 he heard Simon and Garfunkel's "I am a Rock" on an re-run of the Wonder Years and was since hooked on the idea of lyrical poetry. Such songwriters like Bob Dylan and Paul Simon inspired him to put his poetry to music. His other influences are mainly authors like JD Sallinger and Stephen Crane, but musically he is also inspired by Jello Biafra and the Dead Kennedys.
The vocalist and most prolific songwriter in the band, he hopes to someday share his musical poetry with the rest of the world.
