OI! FOR ENGLAND

Who the fuck are they?

Crashed out were formed in 1995 by four school mates who were pissed off with what chart music had to offer. The original line up was:Geordie Brown-Bass,Lee Wright-Guitar,Mark Spence-Drums and Gary Fultcher-Vocals.After a few gigs with local bands like Boisterous, and an appearence on the Channel 4 documentry 'World of Skinhead', the band were approached by Hammer records to release a single and the end result was the 'Memories of Saturday' ep.A support slot to the Test tbe babies and a gig in Belgium in 1997 and then the band released their debut lp 'This is our Music' also on Hammer records, and contributed two tracks to the 'More working class anthems 'lp.During this time the band gigged regulary with the likes of Section 5,The Business,UK Subs and The Exploited to name a few.In 1998 the band released their second lp on Hammer called 'Here, now and real' and that year also saw the band go through a slight line up change.Mark left ,so Raish Carter took over the drum stool, and the band went on a week long tour of Germany. In 1999 they played France with the Business and Gundog, and soon after vocalist Gary left so Raish took over and Mark was back on drums. The band soldiered on for another year, then in 2000 they decided to call it a day due to problems with drummers and singers.Lee was still getting lots of letters from people still interested in Crashed out,so last year the band decided to give it another go.Former Upstarts drummer Decca Wade was drafted in on drums and Lee's brother Chris in on vocals. The current line up is Chris-Vocalsr,Lee-Guitar,Decca-Drums and Geordie-Bass.The band have recently released their come back ep (Back for more) and are currently gigging like mad...So there yo have it!
