The Spazzys are an Australian punkrock 3 piece based in Melbourne.

They started playing in August 2000 jamming in Ally's garage with little to no idea about how to play their instruments. Influenced by the best of them they began by writing their own simple catchy 3 chord songs so they could live the epic dream of rock 'n' roll. Kat plays guitar, Lucy plays bass and Ally plays drums.

Their first shows were in December of that year as the supporting band for the fabulous 5678's (Japan) Australian tour. Since their introduction to the live music scene the Spazzys have continued to write and perform regularly, and have had the opportunity to play and tour with greats like the Dwarves. Mach Pelican, Powder Monkeys, Onyas and the Bunnies. They have toured regional Victoria, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney where they played the Hard-Ons last ever Australian show.

The Spazzys currently have a demo, "I met her at the 7-11…," available at live shows, worldwide on the internet and at NAT records in Japan. They have songs featured on compilations including Rock'n'Roll High School Volume 4. comp, 59th Precinct Rock comp, and the Life's A Gas Joey Ramone Tribute album by AMP records in Canada. They are also featured in a 4 way split available in Europe by Bad Man Records with the Yum-Yums (Norway), Guitar Wolf (Japan) and the Alligators (Italy).

The Spazzys are currently working on an EP for Japanese punk rock experts Popball records, as well as an 8 song EP to be released in Taiwan by GAMAA records. Their debut album will be out 2002 and they'll continue to play their little hearts out.
