OK, I think it's about time that I finally do something with this site. I'm sick of having it sit here doing nothing but wasting space. I mean, no matter what it will be a waste of space, but it should at least amuse me (hence the group of animations at the top of the main page. There used to be music, too. But java sucks ass.) And now, I have decided to make this my online journal, in a sense. I will post my thoughts, feelings, etc. up here for public approval. People may email me back with their opinions if they want, or just dismiss me for the dumb piece of shit that I am. I mean, here I am, a stupid college kid with incredibly limited knowledge of HTML, relying heavily on the scripts supplied to me by Angelfire. So don't expect too much from this page. If you expect to see some earth-shattering state-of-the-art pages, take a look at some of the links I have on my main page.
I guess, since this is my first post, that I should introduce myself to the ignorant masses. I am, as the title suggests, Goose, the Goose Man, Goosemeister, The Reverend Goose, whatever. I am a most unrespected, though not disrespected member of the Colgate University community. That's right, I attend Colgate University, the school that brought you such celebrities as Broken Lizard (Super Troopers) and... uh... that guy who directed Blair Witch 2. Yeah, there's something to brag about.
My extracirriculars have not yet really taken off. So far, I have a radio show where I preach to my underlings. Actually, I just play some kick-ass tunes, although not nearly as many as I'd like. So tune in sometime, I think you can get a live webcast through wrcu.colgate.edu. Of course, the station's going to be down for Christmas, but whatever. Anyway, I also plan on doing theater stuff, as I used to act, write and direct in high school, but it's kinda hard to get into any of that shit here. So I'm pursuing an unknown major somewhere in the sciences.
Outside of school programs, I write this shitty website, and I write for the SWF as Jimmy "The Demon" Liston. While I'm not much of a wrestling buff, I do enjoy writing matches. I have nothing against wrestling; I think it's perfectly respectable to be a fan, as long as you realize that it's a farce. But once you start basing your entire life on it, like some other people I know, it gets sad. True, I'll watch it for fun sometimes, but I will not skip other plans because SmackDown's on that night.
What I am a fan of, however, is anything created by Jhonen Vasquez (Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, I Feel Sick, Invader Zim). I highly recommend everyone take a look at some of his work.
So there you have it. I'm a semi-loser, out here in the boonies of New York State, just barely making his way through college. But there are worse people out there. I'll probably write about all of them before this site is complete.
