Raven is on a definite losing streak. He has not won a
match in a long while. He begins to walk out of matches before they end,
including a match with Tajiri. This infuriates Commissioner William Regal, who
orders a handicap match against both himself and Tajiri at the next show. Raven
laughs it off and spouts off some words of wisdom saying what happens to him
doesn’t matter, only what happens to his opponents, because tonight, they are
in for a surprise. Before their match, Regal and Tajiri have to deal with a
problem in the hallway, and when they return to their office, it is totally
trashed, with the desk overturned and everything. This infuriates Regal and
Tajiri, and Regal says that it had to be Raven. He storms out to the ring with
Tajiri and says that the match is happening right now. Raven comes slowly out
and stops halfway down the ramp. He looks at them and says that he doesn’t feel
like it, and starts to walk away. Regal is infuriated even more, and says that
Raven isn’t going to get away with this, and tells “someone” in the back to
bring Raven back out. Suddenly, Rhyno comes out of nowhere and spears Raven on
the ramp. Regal has a big smile on his face as Rhyno drags Raven back down to
the ring and tosses him into the ring. Regal and Tajiri then begin to take
turns taking apart Raven, before they mercifully pin him. Regal, Tajiri, and
Rhyno celebrate going into the back. The next week, Tajiri arrives early to
Regal’s office, and it has been destroyed again. Tajiri is worried and rushes
off to try to prevent Regal from entering the office and seeing the
destruction. Of course Regal eventually goes to his office and once again says
it must be Raven. Regal then demands that Rhyno and Tajiri go and find Raven.
Rhyno shows back up at Regal’s office, but without Tajiri. Regal wants to know
where he is, but Rhyno says they split up and he doesn’t know. Regal and Rhyno
go try and find him, but never do. The next show, Regal is worried about
Tajiri, and has Rhyno be his bodyguard. Finally, Raven walks in to Regal’s
office and asks if he wants to know where Tajiri is. Regal of course tells
Rhyno to beat him down, but Rave says then they’ll never find Tajiri. Regal
tells Rhyno to lay off. Raven then tells them to follow him. He leads them down
to the boiler room, where they find Tajiri tied to a chair, gagged. Regal
immediately runs to help Tajiri, when suddenly Saturn comes out of nowhere and
nails Rhyno with a steel pipe from behind, taking him down. Regal sees this and
puts Tajiri in front of him as Raven and Saturn close in on Regal and nail him,
until Raven drives Regal down to the floor with the Evenflow DDT. Raven then
kneels down in front of Tajiri and tells him to tell his boss something when he
wakes up, and that if Regal is looking for a fight, be careful who he pisses
off to get one. Then Raven and Saturn leave, as Tajiri struggles to get out of
the chair. The feud escalates until a ppv match between Regal, Tajiri, and
Rhyno facing Raven, Saturn, and a mystery partner. Regal checks with everyone
in the WWF the week before, some quite comically, to make sure they aren’t
Raven and Saturn’s mystery partner, until he is sure that Raven is just
bluffing, because there is no one in the WWF that is teaming with them. The
match starts and out come Regal, Tajiri, and Rhyno. Regal gets on the mic and
says that the charade is over and for Raven and Saturn come out and take their
licks like good chaps. Raven and Saturn come out, and Raven says that a Flock
is group of birds that stick together for the same purpose, and that his Flock
will do the exact same thing…for survival, for power, for victory. Suddenly the
lights dim, and a huge man steps out from the entrance and stands behind Raven
and Saturn. Regal is gawking at this man. Raven says “Let me introduce to you,
the Leviathon!” At this point, they walk down to the ring, and Leviathon
literally destroys Tajiri, who is the first one in, and takes care of Rhyno.
Then the match really kicks into gear as the teams trade blows back and forth,
and the match ends when Leviathon delivers his finishing move and pins Tajiri,
and the new Flock begins their reign.
