--through out the night,
the camera will show members of WCW in the audience. Booker T is included. They
are said to be VIP guests of Shane McMahon.
Tazz and APA vs. The
Right to Censor
--Tazz and APA come out first, accompanied by Jacqueline. Then the Right to
Censor all come out, along with Ivory and Val Venis. In the ring are Steven
Richards, Bull Buchanon, and the Goodfather. This is a descent six man tag
match. The ref goes down towards the end, and it just breaks down into a melee.
Ivory comes into the ring, but Jacqueline stops her cold, and sends her back
out of the ring, but Ivory gets the better of her, and literally slams her to
the floor. Goodfather climbs into the ring with a chair. Steven Richards is holding
Tazz. Goodfather tries to nail Tazz, but Tazz dodges and Goodfather nails
Steven Richards. Tazz nails Goodfather over the top rope. Steven is wobbly from
the chairshot and has his back turned to Tazz. Tazz locks on the Tazzmission!
The referee is up. Steven is submitting. Tazz and APA win. Jacqueline looks
hurt from what Ivory did to her, but she celebrates with them. The RTC circle
Goodfather. Steven is enraged, screaming it is unacceptable. Then they all
attack him, beating him down in the center of the ring, leaving him bloody.
Then they leave, with wicked smiles on their face. Paramedics come out and
place Goodfather on a stretcher. At the top of the ramp, Goodfather gets up and
pushes away from the paramedics and walks into the back.
Test vs. Eddie Guerrero
--This is a good match. Eddie Guerrero starts off strong, but Test comes back
stronger. This is a typical back and forth match, but Eddie is too confident in
this match, and it costs him. Eddie, bragging, turns right into a Big Boot from
Test that nearly takes his head off. Test covers. 1...2...3! Test keeps the
European Title.
Gimmick Battle Royal
--this should be the most interesting match of the night, and probably the
funnest to watch. It is very hard to predict who's in this match, because even
though there have been a lot of people named, there is always the possibility
of more people being added to the mix at the last minute. In the end, I think
it will be the Gobbly Gooker with the win. I think then he'll take off his
mask, and it will be Pete Rose! This would be a reward for the last three years
of getting his ass kicked by Kane. Pete is celebrating in the ring, when all of
a sudden, the lights dim, and the pyros explode. Kane comes down. Pete is
paranoid. Kane climbs into the ring. Pete drops to his knees and begs him not
to hurt him. Kane looks at him oddly, but then holds his hand out. Pete takes
it, still petrified, and Kane actually shakes his hand. Then Kane leaves the
ring, leaving Pete to continue and celebrate, ending their feud once and for
all...or will Pete be Kane's new tag team partner, kind of like X-Pac? Only
time will tell.
Chris Jericho vs. William
Regal
--This is a good back and forth match. Nothing big happens in it, accept that
Jericho in the end, locks on the Walls of Jericho and forces Regal to submit.
Jericho is still the Intercontinental Champion.
Raven vs. Kane vs. Big
Show
--this match isn't as Hardcore as most of them, but with two guys the size of
Kane and Big Show being hardcore, I think that's hardcore enough for this
match. Throw Raven into the mix, who I actually have the image of being thrown
back and forth like a baseball at one point in the match between Kane and Big
Show, it adds to some fun. This match won't stay in the ring for very long. It
will go into the back, where Big Show will throw Kane not only into a wall, but
straight through it as well. Then the fight between Big Show and Raven goes
back to the ramp, where Big Show nails Raven with a hard chokeslam on the top
of the ramp. Before Big Show can pin him, Kane comes out from the back with
something and just nails Big Show as hard as he can with it, which takes Big
Show down to his knee. Kane nails him again, knocking Big Show out cold. Raven
is back on his feet, and walks right into a chokeslam from Kane, but Kane slams
Raven right on top of Big Show, and then leaves. 1...2...3! Raven is still the
Hardcore Champion.
Chris Benoit vs. Kurt
Angle
--I think this will be the best non-gimmick match of the night. I would give
them as much time as necessary...a hard fought 20 minute match between the two
of them. It literally goes back and forth. We see some ungodly moves and just
as ungodly reverses on those ungodly moves. The suplexes fly left and right. In
the end, Benoit locks on the Crippler Crossface, and the crowd will probably go
crazy. Somehow though, Kurt gets out of it, and locks on the Ankle Lock in the
center of the ring. Benoit can't get out of it. He is in a great amount of
pain. Kurt locks it on harder, and the ref is asking him if he wants to give.
Benoit out right refuses to give up. Finally, Benoit passes out from the pain.
The ref calls for the bell. Angle refuses to let go screaming he wants him to
tap...to give up. The ref is trying to pull Angle off of the unconscious
Benoit, but Angle still refuses. Security runs out and Angle finally lets go.
Even though he won the match, he's furious. He didn't tap! This sets up an
actual Submission's Match at Backlash.
Chyna vs. Ivory
--Ivory comes out with Steven Richards. Chyna then comes out to a huge pop.
Ivory basically runs scared of Chyna, but Chyna finally catches her. Steven
interferes a lot during this match. The ref goes down, and Steven blatently
interferes. He nails a Stevie Kick on Chyna. Suddenly, Goodfather comes running
down, in plain clothes. The crowd doesn't know what he is doing. He climbs into
the ring behind Steven, turns him around and begins to nail him with lefts and
rights. The crowd is going wild. The Goodfather nails Steven over the top rope,
and follows him to the outside of the ring. The rest of RTC come running out,
but right behind them is the Acolytes and Jacqueline, who with the help of the
Goodfather (back to Kama Mustafa or his real name) take them out. In the ring,
Ivory is backing down from Chyna, and tries to clear out of the ring, but
Jacqueline nails her back into the ring. The ref is back up. Chyna grabs Ivory
and nails her with a big time DDT. Ivory is down. 1...2...3! Chyna is the new
Woman's Champion!
--at this point, Triple H
is shown in the back, arriving. He's got someone in the trunk of teh limo. He
pulls him out. It's Paul Bearer. Triple H then begins to decimate Paul in the
parking lot. Taker runs and Triple H runs away laughing, leaving Paul a bloody
mess. Taker drops to one knee and begins to call for paramedics.
The Dudleyz vs. Edge and
Christian vs. The Hardy Boyz
--This is the highlight of the card. Lots of high spots. Lots of huge moves off
ladders, into tables, and against chairs. In the end, Spike and Rhyno get into
it, helping both of their teams, but then someone new comes running down. Shane
Helms comes running down, just as Edge is about to reach the titles. You know,
Shane Helms...the last Cruiserweight Champion of WCW, who just happens to be
good friends of the Hardyz. Shane drop kicks the ladder, knocking it over. He
then looks at the Hardyz and the three of them do a triple dropkick to Rhyno.
The Hardyz then climb the ladder, and take the gold, becoming the new World Tag
Team Champions. They celebrate along with Lita and Shane! This leads into the
Matt and Jeff break up even more, as Shane the good friend, trying to keep the
peace. It also gives a future tag team partner, to the one that doesn't go off
into singles competition.
Triple H vs. The
Undertaker
--This gets down and dirty fast. It is a typical match between the two, but it
excels for Wrestlemania. Triple H nails Undertaker with the Pedigree, but Taker
actually gets a shoulder up. Triple H is shocked. He climbs out of the ring and
gets a chair. Taker sits up. Triple H has the chair, and goes to nail Taker
with it, but Taker nails him with a big boot, that takes Triple H down. Taker
lifts Triple H up, and nails him with a Chokeslam! But Taker isn't finished.
The camera zooms in on his eyes rolling back in his head. He lifts Triple H up
again, and then TOMBSTONE!!! Triple H is out of it. Taker folds his arms over,
and pins him like he did with the old Taker. He rolls his eyes back as the ref
counts...1...2...3!!! Taker is the winner. A prelude of things to come. Maybe
not a full turn back to the old Taker, but a merging of the two, with Paul back
with Taker. As long as they don't put Paul in a leather jacket, it would be
cool.
Vince McMahon vs. Shane
McMahon
--Shane comes out first. Then Vince, who has Trish, William Regal, and a wheelchair
bound Linda McMahon. Mick is already in the ring, and says he'll call the match
fairly. Shane and Vince go at it immediately. This match is pretty good, given
the two people involved. Regal tries to get involved, but Foley puts a stop to
that, but Regal tries to retaliate. Then Foley decides to retaliate on his own
and stuffs a little Mandible Claw down his throat. (first his tart tea, and now
a dirty sock...Regal has a good job, doesn't he). Vince and Shane continue to
go at it. Shane is getting beat. Vince drags Shane over to where Trish is
standing with Linda. Vince says he's going to pin Shane right in front of
Linda. Vince is yelling at Shane, with his back turned to Linda. Trish taps her
on the shoulder, and all of a sudden Linda stands up. Vince is looking all
smug, when he turns around to Linda. His face goes white, as Linda slaps him
hard across the face, knocking him backwards. Linda has a stern look on her
face. Vince is shocked. Vince grabs Linda, but Trish slaps him hard. Vince is
in shock again. Vince slaps Trish hard, knocking her to the ground. He then
grabs Linda and pulls her away from everything. He raises his hand to slap her,
but then suddenly a hand grabs his. He pulled her over in front of where Booker
T is sitting. Booker T grabs Vince's hand, and then nails him hard. Vince flies
backwards. Shane is back to his feet, and goes after Vince. It becomes just
between those two as they go back and forth. They go to the ramp and then into
the back, where Foley is following them. They go all the way to the parking
lot, where a black limo is. They use the limo as a weapon. Shane has control as
they move away from the limo. Then the door opens. Everyone's back is turned to
the limo. It's Ric Flair...Ric Flair. Ric grabs Foley and slams him into the
limo, slamming the door on him. Ric then grabs Shane, and nails him with a
Flair Chop. He then slams him into the limo as well, taking him down. Flair
then pulls Vince on top of Shane, and counts 1...2...3! Ric grabs Vince and
raises his hand. They then leave, leaving Shane bloodied on the floor, and
Foley still in the limo.
Steve Austin vs. The Rock
--the end all be all of matches. To sum up greatness, this is it. This match is
everything it is lived up to being. Back and forth action...lot of near falls.
Austin nails the Rock Bottom on The Rock, and The Rock nails the Stunner on
Austin, but it doesn't stop there. The ref goes down. Rock Bottom on Austin.
1...2...3...but no referee. Rock goes over, to help the ref. Austin is on his
feet. Rock turns around. Kick to the stomach...STUNNER! 1...2...3...but no
referee. Austin begins to shake Earl awake, but he's still not awake. Austin
turns around...Spinebuster. Rock's going for the People's Elbow. Suddenly 2001
theme comes on, and out comes Ric Flair, with a chair. He climbs into the ring,
and nails The Rock with a chair before he can hit the Elbow. The Rock is down.
Flair locks on the Figure 4 Leglock on The Rock. Austin is on his feet, he
looks stunned at Ric Flair being there, when suddenly he begins to stomp on
Rock. The crowd doesn't know what to do. Rock is getting beat down by Austin
and Flair. The crowd begins to boo him. The ref begins to stir. Flair lets go
and rolls out of the ring. Austin lifts Rock up, and stuns him! The ref is up,
and Austin covers Rock with a lazy cover. The crowd boos loudly. Austin gets up
with his "evil" look on his face. He holds the title over his head
and just sneers with it. Jim Ross is going crazy. "What the hell is Austin
doing?!"
