A Poem By Chris
Abstract Normal
----------------

Live life left of right,
Up and down,
see past the contagion cancer causing smog,
to the toxic nuclear colored frogs,
that fill the disease infested bogs,
forget the belching smoke machines,
and the drugs that kill our teens,
forget the gangsters tha run our streets,
And the crooked cops that walk their beats,
look past the depression, look past their fear,
Smile that dumb smile...while they drink tha beer
What good parents you are?
Ignore it all,
Its part of growing up
I have bills to pay, and speeches to say, and
golf to play
No time for you son, No not today
Tell you what? you go play
So he distances himself, pushes away
until one day
they find him on the bathroom floor behind the
door,
Son suddenly decides to settle the score,
No this boy wont be pushed around no more
This boy lying on the floor
