RATING:     5 penguins out of 5 would enjoy this movie.

VIEWING EXPIERIENCE:     I got home from a party at 2 am and I thought, What next?. So I watched Traffic. All in all I enjoyed it very much. It reminded me of a Michael Critchton book. It’s very informative but gripping and entertaining (I'm a big Crichton fan.) One of those things were you are glad that you experienced it because you are left with more information then when you started. Sure there’s also a feeling of impending doom but it’s all good. I don’t really remember any music but the cinematography is pretty cool. For different scenes they use different types of film, like blue or orange or real gritty looking ones. Sometimes it’s annoying but it helps separate the movie. I watched this movie after my dad so he kept coming in saying, “Do you know what’s gonna happen? I did! Come on tell me what you think!” I was forced to kick him out of my room where I was watching the movie.

STORY SUMMARY:     Basically Traffic is comprised of four vignettes which intermingled. What’s good about it is that it showcases the different sides on the War of Drugs. Each story talks about the important facts of the War on Drugs. There are stories about corrupt officials, addiction, the victims, the drug dealers themselves and their families, and most importantly the uselessness and wastefulness of this war. I’d be surprised if anyone comes out of seeing this movie with the view that the war on drugs is right. It’s very well done. Some of the actors are Benecio Del Torres, Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas.

CONCLUSION:     see it and learn.
