The stories on this page are all based on the six novels written by Jane Austen. In the first section, I have stories that take place in the Regency period and stay close to her original story. The second section consists of modern versions or parodies of her novels. The third section is stories I've co-authored with my friend Coleen. As of now, most of the stories are linked back to Derbyshire Writers' Guild until I can get them recopied to my own web site.
After finally overcoming Jane Austen's many plot twist, Lizzy and Darcy become engaged. But then Darcy's past comes back to haunt him... Henry Crawford explains the reason for his behavior to Fanny, in hopes that she'll give him a second chance. (not finished) A short story that takes place during Fanny's coming out ball, when Henry is sure of her affections toward himself.
The Dwiggy ladies are once again chasing after the Studmuffin in this twisted tale that will take you from Regency England to Oz and beyond. While Darcy contemplates his feelings for a Miss Elizabeth Bennet, his bedroom is taken over by strange people dressed in leapord print bikinis. A result of too many pain killers and a serious dislike of cabbage. The Dwiggie ladies form a plan to capture their hunky heroes and enslave them for their own personal pleasures. (not-finished) I have no idea where the idea of this story spawned, just be warned that it makes absolutely no sense at all. Ah, here we come to my current story, still very much in the works. Very loosely based on Persuasion, Anne and her two friends create mayhem on the road to love.
Elizabeth Bennet falls prey to the author's devious and evil plot by contacting a fatal disease which can only be cured by true love...will she find it in time?
Annabelle and Leigh Ashton were on a camping trip in the Michigan forests when they unexpectedly got lost. Deciding to wait until the next morning to find their way home, they set up camp for the night. When they awoke the next morning, they found themselves somehow trasported into the past and dropped right in the middle of Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice"
This story mixes the tragic poem "The Highwayman" by Alfred Noyes with Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy in Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice"
