| The Underachevrs is four Christians in a band. We don't consider ourselves a "Christian" band though many of our songs are about God. To us it's not about money, fans and fame. It's about freaking out having fun and praising God in the process. We don't care what people think of us, and we don't care if we ever make it big. We don't write songs and play for people we play to express ourselves to us it's about the music. |
| What does the name stand for it can mean different things It could be Jesus picked twelve underachievers to do his work, or achieving to be united under Christ, or what society has labeled our generation, or maybe it's four slackers who consider ambition their greatest enemy because they're not worried about making it and just care about living. You choose. |
| We don't try to offend people but if we do we do (sometimes we do just for fun). If we have a mission at all (which is highly unlikely). It's to make people be more open minded to give up there pointless traditions, to stop conforming, to think for themselves, to question things, to realize that you can't put God in a box and that pop culture is not a gift but a curse on the world. |
| All of our songs have a meaning (with the possible exception of C.Y.M. which may or may not be true). You may get a different meaning from what I was trying to express. Our songs are often misinterpreted. I in no way ever meant to disrespect God or anyone else (well maybe few people). I would be the first to admit that we may be wrong because we are only humans with a limited intellect. I would also like to clear the record right now and say we are not just another boy band. |
