there was a hollow man
who had a hollow heart
and when he would try and fill it
it would only break apart
in hope of a solution
he surrendered all his will
and gave up on the vessel
that he knew he could not fill
he gave away the sole reminder
of his one defeat
and lamented for the question
of why he could not be complete
one day it came in fear
what he had not known before
that the single missing piece
now lay before him on the floor
wrecked and broken
forevermore.
