reality opens / like a drug crawling through the body /
everything shifts uneasily / dreariness reduces me / to a state where darkness seeps inside /
all feeling is spewed out / fine as mist / (i have isolated this sensation) / the eye awakens /
to a grey sea of confusion / nothing is safe from this / every part of me screams /

the mind stumbles / as the hope is carefully examined / and found to be illusion /
everything i've ever wanted / slithers away from me / not to be seen / or felt /
