We went to Asia and it was, err...fun. Highlights have to include taking Damien to hospital in Kathmandu (or not), riding motorbikes on a Vietnamese island and watching the sun go down at Rayley beach in Thailand. Go to Rayley beach! It's on the west coast, it's near a town called Krabi and it is absolutely fantastic. You can do rock climbing there too!
Things learnt while travelling:
1. Never ever try to outdrink Singaporeans on their home turf. It will end badly.
2. On any motorised transport, relax. Either you'll die or you won't and you can't do a
damn thing about it. And that oncoming truck will doubtless swerve any moment now.
Any...moment...
3. Rich travellers who argue over $1 in a restaurant invariably end up poor in one way or
another.
There is a lot to see and we didn't even scrape the surface. I will return to Asia. Any other takers?
