Differently Than The Clones
Rows of faceless no ones
Condemning me for making noise
For breaking the silence
Of the preferred state
Shun me for not dragging
The chains of the inflicted
I see the sunlight
When you choose to live in the dark
I've escaped the precipice
How sad
That you choose to wear your ignorance
With such unrestrained pride
As I pity you
You claim the universe
In reality you know so little
Little minds, little times
Little people
I choose to walk with the mighty
Its hard sometimes,
Being with the mighty
But I'd rather be shunned
Than accepted with the moles
The pathetic pack rats
You call your "peers"
I've been gifted
With a mindset of disobedience
Man's orginal sin
To be "well adjusted"
To this profoundly sick society
Is no measure of "health"
In my eyes
I choose to reach the sky
On my wings
Rather than on your mountain
Of corpses
I may never be great
But this is true:
I will never be forgotten
And you will surely
Fade away
