My Love
I stare up into the sky
And I see nothing
The mountain gates are stiffiling
The clouds hide the sun
Leaving the darkness to settle into a sticky film
I'll never bathe away the shame
I watch them shuffle along
Weighed down by the dull lead cloth
The endless circle of conformity they travel along
So they can come again to trample my spirit
My only savior lyes a million light years away
In the land of the Sun
I wish I was there to feel the warmth of him
Back among the chosen
I sit here among the wounded
As the fire rains down
Huddled masses, Roving inflicted
Set me free from this
Unless my brown-eyed savior comes
I fear I'll regress into the darkened woods
Rooted for eternity in the pain of "without you"
The glare of your soul can show me past this
But the gates are locked ... and so I wait for you
