As I walked out of the lab, I felt an overwelming sense of fear. What if we weren't related? What if I had no family? What if I really didn't exist? It couldn't have been. I had to have some sort of link to Wolverine. How else would I be doing the things he did?
All of a sudden, I bumped into Bobby... again.
"Hey, sorry." I said half meaningly.
"It's alright... What's wrong? Your face is all red." He said in surpirse.
"Nothing. Look, I gotta go..." I said as I started to run past him.
"What about class?"
I stopped dead in my tracks. "FUCK! I forgot my stuff! What did I have to bring?"
"I don't know, I was going to ask you the same thing. It is the first day you know?"
"Blatantly obvious." I said in an obnoxious voice.
"Do you want me to leave? If so, just tell me, all right?"
"Okay, leave!" I said grasping the chance.
"FINE!" He sounded shocked that I really took up his offer. But I didn't care, I had to go back to the room and grab my stuff. I didn't even look back to say good-bye.
Back at my room, I grabbed my backpack that had all of my clothes and dumped it all on my new bed. I didn't relize how little I actually packed.
"What did I have to bring...?" I asked to no one in particular.
*A notebook, pen, and yourself.* Said a familiar voice.
"Is that you, Professer?" I asked as I turned around, but no one was in my room.
*Yes.* He said.
"Where are you?"
*How easily you forget. I'm in my office.*
"Oh yeah! You're psycic! *Duh* I'm so stupid right now." I thought, not bothering to speak it since he was in my head anyways.
*You're not stupid, just a little sidetracked.*
"Well, nice chat. But I have to go to class. Bye." With that, I walked out of my room.
*I will see you in class, you know where you're going, right?*
I thought about that for a second. "Your office?" I asked.
*Precisely!* He said.

In his office, I met a few people. Like a girl that could walk through walls. And a guy that could set things on fire with his mind. He called it 'pyrokeniesis' or somthing like that. There were a lot of other people there. Some looked strange, others you couldn't tell that they were mutant all. There was also a very wide range of ages. One person looked about seven. A guy looked about fifty, he was only twenty I found out later.
"Welcome," Started the Professer, "To my school for gifted youngsters. I brought you all here because you are all just starting at this school, and don't know your way around here yet. So, I have made out your schedules." He pointed towords his desk. There were piles of papers on is desk. "As I hand out your schedules, state your name and how you discovered your ablity."
Being that there were only twenty or so people, it would go by pretty fast.
"DuPont, Michal?" Was the first name that was called. A guy, he looked about seventeen or eighteen, walked up and took the small piece of paper.
"Ummm... My name is Michal, but just call me Mike. Michal sucks. Let's see," He pondered for a moment, "Oh! I found out I was a mutant when I was at the arcade. I got really mad at a game I couldn't beat, and I threw it across the room. Two people were hit. It was gnarly!"
"Alright, Michal!" Interupted the Professer, "Next, Diego, Jason?" Of course I was next. If not first, second, right?
I walked up and took the paper. As I turned around, I tripped over my own feet.
"Shit!" I yelled just before hitting the ground. Just about everyone laughed, all but the Professer. "Fuck you all!" I said as I got up and ran to my room.
"Jason! Get back!" Yelled the Professer. I didn't pay attention, I just wanted all of this to stop. Since I got to this stupid place, nothing but bad happened to me. Nothing!
All of a sudden, I lost control of my body, I just froze. It was as if someone took my body over. That's when I figured out who it was, the Professer.
*Jason, I told you to get here!* Said a stern voice in my head.
"Go to hell!" I thought. "I can't stand this place anymore! I just can't!"
*Just give us a chance, it will get better.*
"Ha! Yeah right!"
*Just remember, when you hit rock bottom, you can only go up.* With that, I gained control of my body. *Now I will let you make your decision.*
"Fuck you! I'm out of here!"
*We'll... May God look over you.* After that, he didn't speak to me again. I didn't care, I just wanted to get of here, and fast. I didn't even care want to see what happened with the DNA tests. I just ran to my, what was, my room.
