I awoke with a jolt, actually, a electric jolt. The room was dark, and cold. Especially because I had sleep in my eyes.
"Jason! Get up!" I heard a voice, kinda familiar, "Jason!"
"What, what!? I'm up!" I said as I sat up. The ground was quite cold.
"We gotta get out of here!" The person said, I still couldn't see who it was, I still had sleep in my eyes.
"Where are wwe going?" I asked with a yawn. "I'm to tired, leave me here."
"GOD! Don't you get it!? We... Have... To... Get... OUT OF HERE!!" Said the person, I finally relized it was Jubilee. I also relized that she was very serious.
"Alright, where do we go?"
"No where." Said a voice behind us. I definatly didn't know who it was. But I did know it was a man.
"Crap..." Jubilee said.
"I see what you've done, now I know I can't trust you." I felt a strange sensation inside my body, as if my blood was being swished around. "Now, you shall have to be locked up."
All at once, I lost control of my body again, but this time it was differant. Last time I lost control, I couldn't think right. This time, though, it seemed as if my body had completely turned against my mind. It was a very strange feeling, I saw that Jubilee had the same thing happening. She looked at me with pleading eyes, but I couldn't do anything. I seemed to be frozen.
"You see my children," The Man behind us started, "If you lose my trust, you just might lose your life. If not your life, then everthing else." He snorted.
"Please... let... us... go..." Jubilee said between her teeth.
He snorted again, "You don't seem to understand," Jubilee was thrown against a wall, "I don't trust you. I just told you that. If I don't trust you, then you don't live."
For some reason, I noticed a large body of water. I soon relized though, that the water would be signifacant.
"Can you hold your breath?" The man asked me as he stepped in front of me. He was old, and he had a helmet on his head. It was an odd looking helmet, red with a piece that was right between his eyes. "Can you?"
"A little..." I said a little scared.
"Well lets see how far a little really does go, shall we?" Before I could say anything, I felt myself lifted into the air. I still had no control of my body, if I had, I'd be flailing about. I felt a rush of air as I regained control of my body. Just before I could turn myself around, I felt myself slam into ice-cold water.
"Shi-" I gargled as I lost control again. It felt weird, I just had control for a while, why did I lose it again?
"Jason!?" I heard a muffled voice, I didn't relize I was out of the water again, but I was. But that was short lived, I slammed down, again, and again, and again. Over and over I was lifted out of the water and dropped back in as if I were a doll being washed.
I didn't relize that I had blacked out, again. But when I woke up again, I had a terrible pain through out my body.
"Ungg-" Was that me? It didn't even sound human.
"Jason?" I opened my eyes, I saw Jubilee standing above me.
"Wha... What happened?"
"We're in his prison."
"Who's?"
"Magneto."
"Does the Professer always expect everyone to know who Magneto is?" She asked herself.
"Huh?"
"He's, well. He's the bad guy."
"Oh," I sat up, "How are we going to get out?" I felt my head, I don't know why. I guess it was out of nervousness.
"Well, what's your power?"
"Umm... The Professer called it the 'Alchemist Touch.' I think that means I can change things, right?"
"Sound's good enough to me!" She grabbed my hand an jerked me up, "Come on!"
She stood me up and took me to the window, "What do I do?" I asked.
"What do you do to change things?" I hated it when someone answered with another question.
"Well, I hold it and just want it to be something. Then it is. Sounds simpler then it really is."
"Well, you better at least try it!"
"Okay! Where?"
Jubilee pointed to a circle with bars, "Over there."
"What do you want me to turn it into?"
p "Anything!" She sounded, well, she sounded like she was in a real hurry.
"Oxygen?"
"Yes! Anything! Just hurry!"
I did as she told me, I walked over to the bar's, hesitated, and put my hands on it. The metal was cold, so was the air that rushed through it.
"Hurry!" Jubilee naged.
"I'm going as fast as I can." I turned my attention back to what I was doing.
*Oxygen is O two, right? Yeah, that's it. It's O two.* I closed my eyes and hocused on that one formula that I learned when I went to regular school.
"It's working!"
"What?" I opened my eyes and looked at her, "What!?"
"Aww... crap..." She pointed to the bars, "They were disapating, then the atoms must have regrouped..." For such a dead head, she could, at times, act very smart. But then she ruined the whole thing she said with four words, "...or somthing like that."
"Yeah, whatever. Just let me try it again," I said just above a whisper.
I turned around to the bars again, but didn't grab the bars.
"HEY! Why don't you just blast the damn things apart?"
"Oh, pa-lease! Those things are adam... atam... atom..."
"Admantium, my dear child." A voice said. I couldn't help but shudder for some unknown reason. I didn't remember what happened earlier.
"Let us out of here, you big! You big! You..." She was at a lose of words, so she just stopped talking.
For once.
"My poor, ignorant children," The man said in a soothing, yet suttle tone of voice, "You can not realize how important you are! You!" He pointed at me, ignoring Jubilee all together, "You, my friend, are the future."
I looked at Jubilee. She was looking at the distance.
I looked, too.
There were three other people behind the man. One tall, odd looking man. He almost looked like Logan, just taller and blonde.
There was another man. He was much shorter then the other man. Green- all over. Kinda strange, it almost looked like he had no teeth. Maybe it was just due to the point that he was far away... and eating something.
There was also a woman. I guess it was a woman, all blue and such. She was a preschool teachers dream, she was all the primary colours. I just had to laugh.
"Something funny, little man?" She said in a snakey voice. It took me off gaurd, and I just shook my head.
"Good." She said with a devious smile. Damn here teeth were bright, especially against a dark blue background like her skin.
"Now if you're quite done," The old man started, "I have a proposition for you."
"We aren't making any deals with you, dick face!" Jubilee shouted.
"Oh, not you." He said, blatantly ignoring her as she charged at him. He simply held up a hand and motioned at the tall, weird looking man.
She didn't see him coming. If she had, she would have noticed how fiery his eyes were. But, she didn't. Common thing for Jubilee, she didn't notice the most important thing at the moment. Didn't matter, she didn't see anything but black a second later. But she _did_ feel a thunk on her head; at least for a second.
"Now then!" The old man started again, "The truth of the matter is that you aren't needed."
I gave him a confused look. "What?"
"No, you aren't needed. We have you! Therefore, I don't need you anymore."
I still was confused.
"Oh god, forgive this poor, helpless, arogent soul." He said looking at the sky. Or the ceiling. Whatever was up there.
I took a quick glance at Jubilee before feeling a pull in my head.
I couldn't help but scream at the pain. "ARG!" I dropped to me knees in pain, clutching my head. It felt as if there was a alien from that movie, "Alien" in my head, trying to pop out.
Trying, but not succeding.
I felt the- thing- in my head push harder. Needing release.
Wanting it.
And I couldn't help it. As hard as I tired. I scratched at my head, trying to make a cut, but it didn't work. It seemed like forever; the pain that is. Until finally...
I blacked out.
