Troll Appearance
Trolls are distinguishable by green skin, and yellowish teeth and
nails. They are about as tall as modern elves or slightly taller, ranging in
height from roughly four to four and a half feet; a truly exceptionally large
troll might make five feet. However, they are as bulky and strong as humans,
thus they are much more muscular and more heavy-set than the slimly built
elves. Also, unlike elves who have four fingers on each hand and four toes
on each feet, trolls have four-fingered hands but only three toes per foot.
Troll noses and mouths are large, their eyes small and beady. Their
hair color can range through any color shown by elves, and older troll males
will often have big, luxurious beards. Older trolls of both sexes will also
often develop many warts, which are considered to be a sign of beauty among
trolls, and grow more obese and wrinkled.
