Troll Reproduction
As with elves, the gestation period for trolls is two years game
time, four months real time. Since the Elfquest saga does not document
much about the reproductive habits of trolls, Two Moons MUSH assumes that
since trolls are as long-lived as elves, and due to the scarcity of troll
children in what glimpses we've had of troll tribes through the series, trolls
breed at a rate similar to elves: i.e., not very often. Troll children in the
same family, like elf children, probably seldom get born close enough together
that they can grow up together.
Troll players should also be advised that multiple births among the
trolls are probably as rare as they are among the elves. No documented cases
of twin or triplet trolls occur anywhere in Elfquest.
