My Loving Husband

Enraptured by Beauty is the touch of thy heart on
my heart.When out of a world of pain and
lonileness you have brought me on your wings of
love.I close my eyes and imagine holding you close
to me.

This morning I woke up,
With a smile on my face.
The thing last remembered from my dreams,
Was your sweet embrace.

I pictured you holding me,
In your strong arms.
You looked in my eyes,
And instantly I recalled your endearing charms.

We sat and we talked,
About our hopes,our dreams,even our fears.
You told me I was the one no other,
And with those sweet words, came my tears.

Although there were tears,
They came not from sorrow.
They came from what hopes I have,
Hopes for us for tomorrow.

With talking came promises,
Promises for life.
You told me you loved me,
And one day I'd be your wife.

With that in mind,
I told you it was true.
I told you, my love,
That, yes, I feel the same for you.

A smile came upon your face,
And I could almost see you blush.
My heart began to race,
And my blood began to rush.

So many emotions stirred up,
Over so little time.
But the one thing that was for sure,
Was that you would always be mine.
