FOX
An impatient unicorn who hates to stand still for even a moment, Fox's eyes are always darting about, not because she is nervous, but because she can't stand the feeling that she's missing something interesting. Quick, energetic, and graceful, Fox is nevertheless so easily distracted that many of her instructors at the Academy have all but given up. Not only that, but she is always late for everything; she's to busy chasing butterflies and dancing in streams to keep track of time. Life is full and she's enjoying it. There's an eagerness, however, and sympathetic friendliness about her. Despite her "spacey" behavior she is always the first to lend a hand when anyone needs help, and the first to get genuinely excited for her friends when they enjoy a victory. In fact, Fox is always genuine about everything she says or does, and her bubbly exuberance is contagious. She's clever, too, in a less than practical way, and has a sharp intuition that's difficult to fathom but usually correct.
A wildborn, Fox wandered away by accident as a yearling. She was chasing the birds about and came across a field of daisies that just had to be danced in, and then there were the nectar dragons she just had to play with.... etc. A couple of days later, when she remembered to return to the herd, they'd moved on and she eventually found her way to the Academy. Fox's talent is that of depth perception displacement. When she uses her power, she may fool any being into thinking she is up to ten feet away from her actual location. The talent extends to a rider, and can affect up to seven individuals, though she is working on expanding it. An eager but green fighter.
