history & personality: A young stallion, Guardian was born into the wild herd based on Isod's Tip. He was born to the herd stallion and his mate and has grown up listening to tales of his elder brother that left the herd to join the Academy of the Uen Roug in Pallahade. He was merely a colt when the news of his brother Jewel's Bonding sent shock waves through the herd and since that day, he has been beset by fantasies of Bonding himself. His parents are not very happy with the prospect of their second son leaving to join the humans. His mother is much bereaved, in fact, but is far more supportive as she has visited her eldest son and met his Bonded. Guardian's father on the other hand is not impressed with his children both leaving the herd for humans, but will not speak against it.
Since he was a yearling, Guardian has made several appearances on the outskirts of the city of Isod's Tip. The people there dubbed him 'Guardian' after he rescued a small boy from drowning by wading into the ocean's undercurrents and dragging him out... though later the boy would claim that the ocean itself parted and the stallion simply walked out to him.
