HEATHERBLOOM
A shy young mare, preferring to be on her own watching and listening rather than speak. Heatherbloom has the ability to speak with plants, and sometimes uses her talent to ask her green friends to produce berries or flowers for birds, creatures for which she is also quite fond. When upset or distracted, the plants in the area also have a tendency to get just as agitated, sprouting wildly or withering into death. Because of her tendency to day dream Heatherbloom is rarely encouraged inside the academy buildings <the last time she wandered in it took them three days to prune back the rose bush that was grew in one of the hall ways> though the kitchen staff are always happy for her to 'help' in the kitchen gardens <many of the Academy's vegetables are the largest and best in the region> Heatherbloom is a gentle creature, patient and strong, and though she would choose flight to a fight she can defend herself well and use her abilities to hinder her opponent if necessary. Rosebriar's fraternal twin sister.
