Lt. Daenara Riordan, showed uncanny skill in her studies in magic research and diplomacy while attending the Academy as a student of the same year group as Ambier. She was asked to join the Academy staff shortly after graduating and finishing her first circuit duty. Although a bonded pair was lost during this episode, her superiors knew Dae had acted with wisdom unusual for one of her age. She settled into teaching quickly, offering students an easy, non-threatening approach that seemed to help most settle into the Academy quickly. Her mystique still remains around her despite her way of easing others they always find themselves knowing next to nothing about her. She is very reserved and very often answers private questions with a mysterious smile. She is however often asked to help with ‘sticky situations’ because of her skill at diplomacy.
Daenara is also a very skilled artist and enjoys teaching her art classes
the most. Dae’s apartments are in the art studio
building on the upper level.
Description: Daenara stands 6'1", Ash blonde hair usually worn upswept in a twist. Very dark, mysterious blue eyes. Daenara appears aloof to many people. Physically she has been described as 'statuesque'. She is a very attractive woman. The fact she is always *alone* has been a source of puzzlement and discussion for many of her fellow faculty members as well as the student body.
There is one rumor that still circulates: Daenara was in love once and
still waits for him.... (That is unsubstantiated at the moment. >;)
*Wyn- Instructor at the Academy
Wyn talents: Creation Majik... Her innate talent is finding water.
Loves working on majik involving her talent to paint. She has learned to create a portal for herself from paintings she does of someplace she has seen.
1)Has to have seen it to get all the necessary details into the painting.
2)Can only take herself through. Cannot bring anyone with her at this
point it requires
more power than she has.
3) Must weave some essence of herself into the painting for it to work.
ie, a hair woven into the paint, etc.

Ambier, before she bonded, then withdrew more when she became the Commander.
Since then, Dae has been keeping respectful distance knowing that Ambier
has much on her shoulders. Dae is pleased that Starlight is there to share
Ambier's burdens, but at times worries in silence about the friend of her
youth.
