Lucian Thurin is an exact copy of his twin brother, Rhys, physically at least. Six foot one, he has tousled blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes. Due to his penchance for constantly being active, he is well-built, although not as strong as Arthos and Magnus. He is 21 now as is his 'older' brother. Lucian is a social, charming, playful, extremely messy, irresponsible, and disorganized young man. He has a very relaxed aura and is very handsome. Comes across as being rather shallow, though. Lucian knows almost everyone at the Academy (especially the attractive females :)). The only area where he can be relied on to be responsible is in unicorn riding. Notorious for his tardiness, he was even late to his own Y'cha! (Although he actually had a good reason for that) A very physically inclined person, he is often found exercising in
one form or another -- although his favorite past time is bothering his brother. He loves to dance, and has probably attended every party the Academy has had during his five years.

If anyone has spoken badly of Rhys in the past, Lucian will have jumped all over them to protect him. He is fiercely loyal to his brother, and is having trouble not protecting him all the time, especially now that Rhys has Evergreen.

The Thurin twins were born into a simple family in Brookhollow. Their father was a forester and their mother was a wood carver. Lucian was constantly in trouble growing up, but he has longed to be a Uen Roug for many years. His parents sent him off almost gratefully, hoping the Academy would straighten him out, like his brother Rhys. He's always felt as though he had to live up to his brother's standards, although he would never admit that to himself. The Academy did give him direction, and a Bondmate, and he has never been so happy.

Aubade

The foal of two Academy-trained wildborns, gentle Aubade has a wild streak which is difficult to fathom. She's calm, quiet, reserved, even shy one moment, and the next completely wacky, unfettered, and talkative. It is almost as if her personality itself cycles. She's known to be a bit of an oddball, spending most of her time talking to herself, telling long fantastic stories to anyone who will listen, or bursting into bits of comical playacting for no particular reason...that is, when she isn't curled up beneath a tree, deep in the unicorn fields, daydreaming and avoiding all human or 'corn activity. Aubade's talent is also rather odd: she can instantaneously transport herself and others, if she chooses, forward through time, but only until the next sunrise. How many people she can transport is directly proportional to how taxing it is to her system. While ten or fewer people is a breeze, twenty is exhausting, and thirty, while do-able, could kill her. An energeticly aggressive or cautiously defensive fighter depending on her mood.
