Magnus Woodwright

Intro Bio

Magnus Woodwright stands an impressive 7' tall, and tips the scales at around 350 pounds.His eyes are a pleasant light brown, complementing his sandy blonde hair nicely. He is 21, and grew up the son of a carpenter in a small logging village. Since he was 13, he has worked with the lumbermen of the village, and has spent many a long day swinging his axe through the trees of the Groley Woods. He joined the academy at the age of 17.

Magnus is definitely large, and his limbs are broad and strong. He still retains muscular definition, and is very, very strong. His size, however, causes him to be slow on his feet, and he often seems clumsy with small, delicate things, mostly because he fears he'll break them. Magnus can hold his own in a fight, but only as the last resort when all other methods have failed. He despises violence, preferring diplomacy. Many don't suspect Magnus' quieter side, one that enjoys observation and the tranquility of enjoying a book. All in all, a gentle giant.

Windswept

A proud, dignified stallion who disdains all things flowery and emotional, Windswept looks upon Bonding as a necessary step in becoming a full Roug, and therefore fulfilling his duty as a corn, though he secretly fears the kind of vulnerability that accompanies it. Very intelligent (though more learned than clever) and precise, Windswept always keeps a cool head, though can be sharp tongued if he needs to be. Most of his fellow unicorns, however, have begun to think of him as overly unfeeling. If nothing else, though, he is fair, and is a staunch believer in the Light and its virtues. His talent is that of changing his physical form into swift moving air currents (wind) for an hour or less, and the talent also extends to his rider, if desired. A precise and deadly accurate fighter.
