Mint Trees
(Stunt Tree)

Found in the Groley woods, Con Cuisto forest, and Khalakopf mountains, it is a hardy little perennial very resistant to disease and pests. While actually a plant, and not a tree, it does resemble slightly a newly growing tree, hense it's name.

Growing to a height of only about two feet, with a spread of only a foot, it is a brown little plant with oval shaped, serated green leaves. The leaves of the mint tree have a distinct, minty scent to them. While it can be adapted to pot growth, it does not grow well indoors, making the effort hardly worth the while.

While having no medicinal value, the Mint Tree's fragrant leaves, when dried and crumbled make excellent potpourris. Also, the leaves of the plant can be used in salads. And chopped, they make an excellent seasoning herb when cooking. When steeped, it makes a tasty, peppermint tasting tea which is quite refreshing. And very good for a stomach the morning after a night on the town.

A popular plant that's not quite as easy to find as some, it's a bit expensive. Though not so high as to be completely unafordable to the general public.
