Private Norrell Tate
Like his Bonded, Norrell is a bit of a free spirit. A rover and a musician before his Academy days, Norrell left his middle class home in Sieta and played his lute on the streets of Pallahade for years before enrolling at the Academy at age 19. He wasn't a particularly good student, but demonstrated good leadership skills and was especially successful with the theater department, who could appreciate his "hamming" ability and slightly neurotic mannerisms. He Bonded in 106, after four years at the Academy, and was posted a year or so thereafter to Rin Caad.
Norrell stands a thin, lanky 6'2" and has a mass of curly
red hair which is cropped short at the nape of his neck. He has long, pinched,
but not unattractive features, small close-set blue eyes, and a thin mouth
that is always in motion, even when he isn't speaking. He has pale skin, a
long neck, and a scruffy goatee-like red beard.

talent: can turn any living creature or selected living creatures (one human or unicorn or up to 10 lesser creatures) into small green frogs for up to an hour. He can change them back to their original form at will.
history & personality:
Lilypad is a bit of a free spirit, jocular and friendly but
unaccustomed to bending to authority, unless the whims of authority are in
accordance with his own. This attitude has kept him and his Bonded on the
lower rung of the Roug hierarchy, despite his natural leadership ability and
general popularity around the Stables. Still, that doesn't bother him much,
as he and Norrell have never had any aspirations for lieutenant or higher.
Lilypad is immensely clever, a bit self-righteous, has an excellent sense
of humor, and a colloquial way of expressing himself which he affected during
his Academy days. He was studying for a play and found that it suited him
so much that he never quite lost it, much to some of the elder unicorns' dismay.
