Behind the Chapel there is a pair of iron gates in a low stone wall. Wrought of the same black iron as the front gates, these are considerably smaller, but still hold the side view of a unicorn in the middle. The wall is made of normal grey stone, neatly stacked and about chest high. As well-kept as the rest of the grounds, the bushes dotted along the wall at regular intervals are small and trimmed, and the grass is vibrant green and soft. Large, leafy trees lie within the cemetary, casting shadows over the carefully inscribed tombstones. They add to the eerily still air hanging over the area. It is a peaceful place, private.
You step inside, cautiously pushing the gates open and walk along the
narrow path that weaves its way between graves. Although the area is large,
the remnants of where the original walls were still dot areas, they had
had to enlarge the cemetary years ago. The graves nearest the middle are
the oldest, spiraling outward in time. There are newer graves among the
older and it is not unusual too see a solitary Uen Roug standing or sitting
beside the monument to a lost friend, comrade or 'Cha-mate...
