RADIANCE
Radiance is perhaps one of the brightest 'corns at the Academy, but you'd never know it to look at him. To most observers, this 'corn is the image of a suave, confident socialite, one part comedian (though never slapstick), one part ladies' man, and one part natural born leader. Underneath his debonair exterior lies a clever, "street smart" mind...he's certainly not an equine calculator like Dodger, nor is he the self-educated equivalent of Aurora. He is, however, surprisingly good at making seemingly obscure connections, and observes more than he lets on. Despite all of this, Radiance guards his reputation with his life, for secretly he cares what others think of him more than anything else in the world. He may pretend that he does things for himself, but he gains the most pleasure from seeing that others are impressed with him. He *needs* that attention and approval. Radiance's talent is the ability to cause things to spontaneously combust. He is a fine fighter, though sometimes gets so caught up in "style" that the effectiveness of his methods is lost. Radiance secretly fears Bonding will finally unearth his carefully guarded insecurities.
