RICOCHET

A handsome young paint stallion, Ricochet is always trying to test his limits, to explore the depths of his power, strength and mind. When he sets his mind to something -- watch out!  His strength of will and singularity of purpose cannot be matched.  Once he accomplishes a goal, though, it isn't long before he sets a new one, leaving him little time to bask in his own glory.  To Ricochet, self-satisfaction is the quickest path to spiritual, mental, and physical apathy, and he is always in search of new ways to better himself. He is serious almost to a fault in all of his Academy endeavors, and his friendships, as a result, are few and equally intense: mostly with the older 'corns and wildborns.  The frivolity of many of the younger Academy corns is beyond him.

Besides improving himself, Ricochet loves to run. He oves the freedom, the purity of the movement, the feel of it...not to mention the positive physical effects. Blessed with a special power, Ricochet can absorb a Wyn's magic and fire the spell back at the caster at a diminished intensity, or back at some other target of his choice. Because of this, he spends a great deal of time among the Wyn (under special teacher supervisation and protection) practicing with them and testing the limits of his power. A strong and forceful fighter.
