Saut Deoxus
Saut Deoxus pronounced S-out D-ox-us, was born in the upper east-side of Lake Briston's cultured water front district. His Family name is linked to their successful business that caters fine Jewelry and other wares distinctly affordable to the wealthy. Saut arrived at the Academy in his twelfth year shortly after most members of the Yellow Class started their training. He dresses in the finest fashion preferential to silk shirts, black boots and riding pants. A lithe thin frame at 5'10" his dark brown eyes hidden under heavy brows black as the unruly mop of hair on his head. The young man's face appears raw-boned yet he manages to carry a smile for everyone except in rare unguarded moments when his lips bite down into a thin line. All who meet him are generally taken by his charming pleasant airs and tactful conversations. Infrequently moody Saut is genuine in his friendship and most trust him more than they sometimes realize. It has been noticed of late his attraction to Twilight.

Twilight
A daydreamer and apt storyteller, Twilight has always seemed to see things that other couldn't, and indeed she always has. Sometimes able to see "ghosts" or imprints from within the Netherealm superimposed on the tangible world, Twilight found at an early age that she could reach out with her own magic and pull things out of the Netherealm and into her own reality. Of course, it caused some problems when she was a filly and the Headmaster suddenly found his campus infested with creepy crawlies and strange energy beings! Shade, of course, helped to put things straight, but the incident left her with a bit of a stigma with many of the unBonded staff at the Academy, as well as several unicorns who felt her talent too dangerous to keep around. However, Twilight proved to be a quick learner and keeps her talent in constant check, even in sleep. She continues, however, to tell the foals the stories she hears whispered through the Netherwalls and many of the other unicorns regard her with a sort of distant wariness. Twilight doesn't mind. She likes being alone, but there *is* something about Shade... A poor fighter, but her talent could prove very, very useful in battle.
