Their is always a quiet one in school, the type that habitually avoid people, the one that sits in the last row of seats in class, slumped down and seemingly daydreaming. Those that sit alone in a corner of the dining hall at meals, the kind of person who is assigned to work with a group because no one chooses them and they have no friends... and that is just how Veth wants it.

Over the years, Veth has cultivated this withdrawn, unfriendly attitude. He always appears to be 'somewhere else', not paying attention... but only to his peers. His grades speak for themselves. He is exceedingly clever and suited to problem solving, but his weakness in academics lies in Diplomacy and working with others.

Veth doesn't believe in black and white, he exists in the gray area of life, always believing that their is more than what appears to the eye. Something hidden, something that just needs it's door found if one can be patient enough in searching.

Speaking with a deep, soft voice, Veth has a distinct Chihallan accent. Lean, lithe build with pale blue eyes and thick black hair with a white streak that easily reaches his ankles when unbound. He moves with a catlike grace and has a penetrating stare. He always meets another's eyes, refusing to look away first, though not so with his superiors. To them he is respectful and straightforward. And all of this is for a reason. Veth wants to graduate and become an asset to the Uen Roug. He wishes to be the ultimate soldier and fulfill his childhood fantasies of kicking tail in the name of justice. Veth wants to be a shadow slipping in and out of places unseen and he spends his free time practicing his skills in seclusion.

Though he doesn't admit it to anyone, Veth feels deeply that he will Bond someday to a unicorn. As an only child with parents who never seemed to recall he was there, he somehow feels it is owed to him. That there must be a reason for his always going unnoticed. And he is willing to give it his all to make it happen.

Veth was born in Chihalla in 92 ADT.
