KAHPALA
Kahpala are commonly found in the plain lands between Aedelfar and Rin
Caad. They are herbivourous and can go for many days without water during
drought. Kahpala are usually found in herds of up to twenty. Males can
be distinguised by the stripes along the chest of their body and the straight
face markings. females have a curved face marking. When feeling threatened
male kahpala tend to charge rather than flee. Before charging the kahpala
will lower it's head, flatten its ears against it's neck and shake it's
head up and down to emphasize it's horns before charging. Though not usually
fatal, a full grown kahpala's head butt can break bones, especially ribs.
