La'ritha
La'ritha are most commonly found in the Five Lakes region and near rivers.
They are insectivours and have a high, lilting cry of 'Chiz-chiz-chiz-teruu'.
Normally solitary, there are occasional small flocks that band together
when water <and water insects> are scarce to increase the chance of
finding food. Young are raised by both parents before setting out on their
own. La'ritha are sometimes used as messanger birds between rivers, lakes
and streams but are usually unreliable and the more common place pidgeon
is relied on instead.
