A slave is described by her/his heart, beauty and passion. The way we express these things online is through the actions that we post in our home. One of the most common of these actions is serving. With serving, you are expressing those three things. When you grow accomplished at this, it is exquisite and sure to captivate T/those watching. And you, as the server, will find yourself breathless and your heart surging with love, and the fire of your submission.
When serving you must let your heart type for you. No Free deserves a shoddy serve from a slave in a bad mood.
(that means you must dig down past the pain, anger and disapointment of the day, RT and VT, to the purity of your soul... the part that remains untouched by what happens in life)
A serve should flow like a poem for that is what it is... serving is poetry of motion
Forget EVERYTHING except expressing how you feel about Your Master/Mistress (regardless of WHO you are serving... for each serve you do, you are serving your Owner).
Now with that in mind...close your eyes a moment. Picture walking, bending, turning and reaching. Visualize each body part... how it moves and feels. Then type what you see, remembering always to add descriptive words, not only for your body but for your motion and feelings as well.
Serving Rules

1) To serve you must first ask to serve.
2) When not serving and there are Masters/Mistresses present, a slave will ask to serve.
3) A slave will ask each One not being served, or not served recently, individually by name... never as a group. A lazy slave is not a pleasing slave and by asking as a group, you are saying you are too lazy to type to each Person. Plus, you must remember They are Frees and DESERVE the respect of individual attention.
4) Everyone is offered a serve, not just one's favorite Master/Mistress. Do not wait for One Master/Mistress in particular to come online, offer to serve everyone.
5) Remember that Guests of the Lair are only served food/drink/conversation...sexual service must be permitted by the slave's Owner.
6) Be pleasing and attentive, even if one doesn't like the One they are serving. A slave is serving to honor their home and their Master or Mistress, not to please themselves.
7) Give a Master/Mistress time to be welcomed to the Home, and to offer Their greetings, and then offer to serve.
8) Do not talk to or greet O/others while serving.
9) Keep posts from between 6 to 8 lines at most, to hold attention.
10) There is to be creativity and talent appropriate to the level of personal learning shown in each post a slave makes to a Master/Mistress.
11) Be very descriptive (i.e. crystal goblet, etc.) Use words that make the Master/Mistress see what one is doing. Flirting is allowed, even encouraged (i.e. looking over one's shoulder, under one's lashes, smiling, etc.). Make the Free feel as if you are paying attention to Them.
12) Heated serves (serves where the slave shows passion and sexuality) are good for experienced slaves, but if one serves with heat, one should be prepared to use it. (i.e. be prepared to serve sexually) ...one should not offer what they are not prepared to give. If a slave is restricted, or not comfortable with fully serving a Master or Mistress, as the case may be... discuss that with the Free in PM
Basic Steps of a Serve

1) Offer to serve...
2) Acknowlege the "order"... say Yes Master/Mistress etc.
3) Find out kind and temperature, if needed, but if they have said bota that means bota. Dont ask further questions about bowl or goblet.
4) Back away respectfully three steps.
5) Get the vessel, examine and polish it.
6) Check the vessel for flaws. Use slave heat if it was requested. The vessel is checked for any nick or roughness that might harm the Person you are serving. Never use your neck, wrist or ANY pulse point to check the vessel. A serve is meant to please a Free...not harm or kill a slave.
7) Get the food or drink...from the serving hut/cooking fires/or cooling shelves in the cave.
8) If needed, use cutting shells to cut up food, you do not need permission.
9) Go back to kneel before the Master/Mistress with the food.
10) Describe the kneel sexily.
11) Testing is always done.
12) Offer the food or drink....with a toast, ie may this food or drink please the Master/Mistress and this slaves serve be pleasing.
13) Hold right there and don't bug Them.
14) Once its taken, ask if there is anything else the Free wishes.
15) Do it, or thank the Free for being allowed to serve Them.
16) Then rise and back up respectfully(3 steps) before moving away.
17) If no answer here and they are posting to others wait 5 minutes and rise and back away.
18) Never repeat requests to Free that are busy and don't answer... tis not pleasing... it's demanding for slaves to post waiting at Your feet... waiting for Your answer... waiting for You to take the drink... etc etc. If a Master/Mistress is booted, then do NOT do anything but wait, if not needed elsewhere, but only wait 10 minutes then put the food or drink away and be ready to offer a whole new serve if the Master/Mistress wishes when they come back.
Even if asked for a quick serve, testing the vessel and the food/drink should always be done.
What if you dont know what they asked for?
Whisper that question to a trainer or experianced kaji... no permission to whisper needed. If there are none there to ask, tis respectful and correct to post to the Master/Mistress that a slave is very sorry but is not familiar with that... ie might a slave apologize and ask how Master/Mistress would like that prepared.
What does a slave do if a Master/Mistress doesn't respond during their serve?
Do a wonderful job and don't worry about it. The Master/Mistress may well be busy. It's a slaves job to be pleasing, not a Master/Mistresss job to please them with responses.
What does a slave do if they realize, or the Master/Mistress realizes, the slave made a mistake?
(ie red kalana instead of paga or they forgot cream and sugar for the blackwyne)
Role-play it. If possible, just add it to the next post as if it was always there. Or if a mistake like red kalana when paga was wanted, role-play turning around to go get the right thing, or already kneeling before the Master/Mistress ask Them if a slave may quickly fetch the correct item. Beg forgiveness, then move HARTA, as fast as a slave can fly to do so.
What is done if the Master/Mistress doesn't know what to order?
(ie They are new)
Ask if They wish a description of what is availible, and give Them a couple of choices, explaining what they are and how served briefly. ie paga or kalana... ask do either of those sound as if they would please, and if not, give two more choices and so on.
Always be willing to ask a trainer or another kaji if you have a question later on.

Serving -Without- Heat
Most mistake a non-sexual serve as a watered down heated serve, and end up serving like that. Instead, it is completely different. A true non-sexual does not refer to body parts, except in expressing beauty and her heart. When accomplished at this type of serving, it is a POWERFUL serve, sure to captivate. And you, as the server, will find your breathless heart surging with love.
Now when serving white, you must let your heart type for you.
You must dig down past the pain, anger and disappointment of the day, to the purity of your soul... the part that remains untouched by what happens in life.
Now with that in mind...close your eyes a moment. Then walk across the room in a non-heated way. See, in your moves, your thoughts... how you feel about your Owner, yourself, and your slavery... not sexualy, but your devotion and love.
Serving -With- Heat
with the non-sexual serve you learned to serve with your heart to let it speak for you with the heated serve your fire and passion will do the typing for you
a heated serve is not vulgar infact it is quite beautiful and erotic when done correctly it will not offend a FW (though they may need a cool bath ~winks~)
