We open with the sun rising up behind the Statue of Liberty.

Breath hallucinations start to fade
All the colours slip back to grey

Music fades as we pan over the city streets at dawn. Pan down to Eve who is jogging down the street looking around franticly. She looks over to Alex across the street. Alex looks back at Eve and shakes her head.

Tonight the poison's in my head
and I can't feel my legs
I'm not feeling anything

Eve - (voice over commentary) We thought everything was going to be okay. Lucifer is back in Hell. Craig is alive and his soul is safe. We were together again and doing what we were meant to. Everything was supposed to go back to normal. I should have realized, we all should have. After all that has happened, nothing will ever be the same again.

Alex - CRAIG!!!!!

Eve whips her head around to where Alex is looking.

Pan up the side of an apartment building

I'm standing at the top looking down
Thought I'd be so free
Floating out in space take a breath
Don't you breath to deep
Standing at the top looking down
Thought it'd be so damn easy
I thought it would be easier . . .

At the top of the building Craig stands at the very edge. His are eyes closed and his arms are opened wide. He teeters forward.

12 Hours Earlier

Cut to a modest apartment. We pan from the kitchen to a small table where a phone is. Beside the phone there is a picture of a family and beside that is a picture of Eve, Alex, Jeff, and James all sitting on a couch smiling. Pan over to the left. Craig is sitting in a chair leaning forward with his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands. He sits up when he hears a jingling of keys outside the door. Pan over to the door where Jeff walks in. He sees Craig.

Jeff - Have you been sitting there the whole morning? You were sitting there when I left.

Craig - (flat voice) Course not. I got up to use the bathroom.(smirks a bit)

Jeff - Well at least we know you haven't lost your bad sense of humor

Craig - Ha Ha

Jeff – Craig, you have to get out this place.

Craig - And do what?

Jeff- Something. Anything. What about going back to the university?

Craig doesn't answer

Jeff - Look man, you're welcome to stay here for as long as you need but I won't put up with your moping

Craig - (angry) MOPING!! Were you stuck in a body you couldn't control for nearly a year? Did you ever have to watch as someone using your body and your name was trying and kill every one you've ever loved!!!!!??

Jeff doesn't say anything but just sighs and hangs his head

Craig - Jeff . . . I'm sorry . . . I . . .

Jeff - No, you're right. I shouldn't have said that to you. But Craig, this is eating away at you and staying cooped up here all day is not going to help.

Craig - I've been talking about it.

Jeff – Only with Eve. What about Alex?

Craig - (just looks away) I can't. Not after what I did.

Jeff - But that wasn't you. That was Thuvan.

Craig – What's the difference?!

Jeff – (shakes his head) Look, maybe you just need to get back into the fold. Get a regular routine going. Come out with us tonight.

Craig - What? Demon hunting?

Jeff - Why not? You started it. It's only right you should be a part of it again.

Craig thinks about it for a moment and nods. Fade from Craig to the centre.

The centre is packed. Music is blaring while people are working out. James is at the juice bar as always smiling and making drinks.

Cut down to the gym area where Alex is making her way through the crowd of people half dancing while patting people on the back and saying hi. Pan over to the register where Eve is sitting smiling at everyone as they go past her in and out of the centre. She looks over to James who is looking at her. He gives her a smile and she looks away with a shy smile blushing. She looks up to see Craig walk in the entrance. She smiles when she sees him. He looks over to her as she gets up and walks over to give him a big hug. He wraps his arms around her and hugs her back.

Eve - Hey!! (pulls back and looks at his sad and tired face) What's wrong?

Craig - What's usually wrong?

Eve - The way back in painful, you have to go through it to get to the other side. After what you've been through no one is expecting everything to be fine instantly. Its going to be like this for a while.

Craig – You know, there's this picture in Jeff's apartment. Its been there for months. Today was the first day I actually looked at it and there you all were. You, Alex, Jeff, even James. You were all sitting there. Happy. Without me. It's like you had moved on without me.

Eve - You're wrong. Ever since you . . . you were taken from us, we only ever thought of how much you meant to us and how much we need you. You changed our lives, you're the reason why we continued on. Don't ever think you're nothing. Know that you are everything.

Craig - (takes her hand) I don't think I could have made it this far without you. Sometimes . . . the memories of what happened are too much. When I think of all Thuvan has taken from me . . .when I think I could drown in hatred and darkness, there you are, like this light guiding me through.

Eve – Think of it as me returning the favor for all you did for me my first year in New York. You were my light then. You kept me on my path, I’ll keep you on yours.

Craig - Thank you

Eve - Come with us tonight and fight by our side as you were meant to.

Craig – (smiles) I just was going to ask you if I could join you.

Alex - (appears behind Craig with a huge smile on her face) Craig! You don't have to ask!! This is our thing. It always has been. You can join us when ever you want!

Craig - (looks back to Eve and smiles) I guess I'll be joining you tonight then

Alex - YES! (gives Craig a huge hug)We are so kicking ass tonight!!

Alex gives Craig a kiss on his temple and walks off behind the bar

Cut to James as he looks over at Eve talking to Craig and smiling. Alex comes up beside James and gives him a little nudge in the hip with her own

Alex - Hey, what's up with you?

James - (shakes his head kind of sad) Nothing.

Fade to Alex's loft in the evening. Alex is swinging her sword around practicing a little bit before going out. She hears a knock on the door. She walks to the door confused and opens it. Craig is standing there

Craig - You seem surprised.

Alex - You're early (stands aside to let him in)

Craig - (walks in and takes a deep breath)I wanted to talk to you. Alone.

Alex - A conversation that begins that way never goes well

Craig - Alex . . . what happened to you, what Thuvan made me do . .. I regret what I did. . . I am so sorry I hurt you.

Alex – (sighs relieved) Is that it? Craig, that wasn't you. I know that.

Craig - I was weak and I couldn't stop Thuvan from using me. I couldn’t protect you! What he did, jamming another soul into your body . . .

Alex - Craig stop!! None of that was your fault. I've never blamed you. Stop blaming yourself! You sound like Eve.

Craig – At least Eve listens.

Alex – (shocked by that) Craig, you’re my best friend. There was a time when you used to tell me everything. There was nothing that we couldn't share with each other and now you can't even stand to look at me. That hurts more then what Thuvan did.

Craig - (looks remorseful) I never want to hurt you. I just . . . can't you just yell me or hit me or something?

Alex - It seems to me you are already punishing yourself enough for the both of us.

Craig - Alex . . . I don't know how to get past this.

Alex - (sighs) Craig. Things will be fine. It just takes some time. Don't beat yourself up over this. It wasn't you. So you have to put it behind you.

Craig - (shakes his head)Alex . . .

Alex - I just want things to be back the way they used to

Craig - (looks at her in anger) THEY CAN NEVER BE THAT WAY AGAIN. DON'T YOU SEE? THINGS ARE DIFFERENT. EVERYTHING IS!!!

Alex stumbles back from Craig in fear. There is a long silence of them just looking at each other. There is a sound of faint laughter coming from outside the door. Just then Eve, Jeff and James walk in. They stop short at the tension in the room.

Eve - Is there something wrong?

Alex - (breaks out of the silence and looks at Eve) No. Craig just came by early that's all. Come on let's go! (grabs her jacket and sword and walks out)

Jeff and James look wearily at Craig before following Alex out. Craig makes the move to follow when Eve stops him. Craig just looks at her

Craig - Everything has changed.

Craig walks out of the loft and Eve follows quietly behind.

Cut to Central Park at night. A chakram cuts through the dead of night it bounces of trees and rocks then sails right towards a demon slicing it's head off. It sails back to Eve and she catches. She looks at the ooze on the chakram. She looks to Alex who just shrugs

Alex - Looks like it's going to be a messy night.

Eve - (no enthusiasm) Yay.

Alex and Eve hear a rustle behind them and Alex thrust her sword behind her gutting a demon. It falls down dead. Alex and Eve continue walking.

Eve – I’m worried about Craig. Jeff is too. Craig seems to sinking farther and farther into a depression.

Alex - He still feels guilty and he doesn’t want to be forgiven.

Eve - (sighs) I know how that feels. He’s so lost. And who wouldn’t be? He’s literally been to hell and back.

Alex - I'm tired of him feeling like a stranger around me. He was my best friend and now . . . I don't know who he is.

Eve – Neither does he Alex. And he blames himself for being too weak to stop Thuvan. He needs some sort of resolution or closure . . . or redemption.

Eve stops in mid sentence when both her and Alex hear a scream. Eve and Alex run in the direction of the scream.

Cut to a clearing where Craig has sliced a demon's arm off. The screaming is coming from the demon. Another demon comes from another side. Craig spins around and slices the demons leg then spins the other way around and kicks the demon in the head. It falls down to the ground and Craig jumps up and jabs the sword fiercely in the demon middle. He looks up to the other demon with the arm cut off with murder in his eyes. Before the demon could run off Craig runs over and tackles it down. He drags it up by its ears and snaps it head in his bare hands. He stands there breathing heavily as the demon slides to the ground leaving a trail of red ooze on Craig’s body and hands.

Alex - Craig?

Craig's head turns sharply to Alex and Eve who just stand there looking shocked. Craig looks to his hands covered in red. He starts panicking and trying to scrub at his hands

Craig - No No No NOOOOOO!!

Eve - Craig calm down.

Craig - NO. THE BLOOD!

Craig in terror and disgust runs off into the night

Eve - CRAIG!!

Alex and Eve rush after him.

COMMERCIAL

Cut to Alex and Eve running through the park they are dodging bushes and jumping over rocks and weaving in and out of the trees after Craig. They stop in a clearing and look all around. Craig is nowhere in sight

Alex - He could have gone anywhere!!

Eve - Then we have to search everywhere. There's no telling what he could do in the state he’s in

Cut to Craig running along the streets on New York still covered in a red goo like substance that resembles blood. He runs into an alley way and leans against a building holding his stomach gasping for air. Memories of Thuvan invade his mind!

Craig crumpled to the ground crying. The memories are too much to bear.

Craig - (pounds his fist on the ground) I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I can't . . . I can't take it . . . I don't. . . I don't know how . .

Craig looks at the fire escape leading to the roof top of a building. He runs over and begins to climb up at frantic pace.

Cut back to Alex and Eve running back from where they came. A demon jumps from a tree in front of Eve but she just flips over him grabbing it's shoulders in mid flip. As she comes down she flips him over her and just before he reaches the ground Eve swings around and kicks it in the chest sending the demon flying into a tree. Cut to Alex as she running past. One blue skinned demon jumps out at her but she just runs past shoving a sphere of fire down its throat blowing it up. Another one attacks her from the left but Alex does a no hands cartwheel kicking it in the face. As she gets up Alex swipes the demons head off with the sword and keeps running.

Cut to the street outside the park. Alex and Eve look around. Eve runs across the street and starts to look down alleyways while Alex still scours along side the park. Eve looks behind her as she feels a soft warm glow on her back. Dawn. She sees the sun beginning to rise. She looks around worriedly. Eve begins to jog down the street looking around franticly. She looks over to Alex who looks over to Eve and shakes her head.

Eve – (whispers) Craig where are you?

Alex - CRAIG!!!!!

Eve whips her head around to where Alex is looking .

Pan up the side of an apartment building

At the top of the apartment building Craig stands at the very edge. His eyes closed and arms opened wide. He teeters forward.

Eve - CRAIG!!!

Alex - NOOOOO!!!

Cut back to Craig just as he is about to fall off the building. Jeff appears and pulls him back away from the edge with such force they both fall back on the roof.

Eve - (puts a hand to her chest relieved) Thank Eli!!

Alex and Eve both run into the apartment building and up the stairs.

Cut to the roof top. Alex and Eve burst out of the doorway on the roof. They find Craig sitting down with his head in his hands rocking back and forth

Craig - You should have let me die. You should have let me die. You should have let me die!!!!

Jeff is kneeling beside him and James is standing by their side. He looks up when Eve and Alex burst out of the door.

Eve - James . . .What . . .(looks to Craig) Craig! (she runs over immediately and holds him)

Alex - How did you guys get here in time?

James - I had a vision. It came out of nowhere but I'm glad it did. We got here just time.

Alex walks over to Craig. She gently pulls Eve away from him and takes his hands away from his face. His face streaked with tears and blood.

Craig – (refuses to look at her) I can’t do this. How can I go on after all I've done?

Alex - (pushes his hands away and stands up) The same as everyone else.

Craig looks up to her

Alex - (annoyed) Are you okay?

Craig nods

Alex – Good. (smacks the back of the head) What the hell is wrong with you!!

Craig recoils in horror and Alex jumps forward at him but James holds her back grabbing her by the waist lifting her up, pulling her away. Eve gets up with Craig.

Eve - Alex !!

Alex - A YEAR!! I WAS GOING THROUGH HELL FOR A YEAR WITHOUT YOU!! EVERY DAY WAS A STRUGGLE AND YOU WANT TO PUT ME THROUGH THAT AGAIN!! WHY!? YOU SAID YOU NEVER WANTED TO HURT ME!!

Eve- ALEX STOP!!

Craig just walks past to the door. Alex breaks away from James and she runs after Craig to grab his arm but he jerks it away from her. He doesn't look at her at all.

Craig - Don't.

Eve looks to Jeff with urgency and mouths 'go with him' and motions to Craig.

Jeff and Craig exit leaving James, Alex and Eve standing there. Eve glares at Alex and shakes her head walking to the stairwell. Alex walks to the stairs as well and James follows behind.

Cut to the centre, early morning. Alex storms in with Eve behind her

Alex - (whips around to face her) I swear to God, if it hadn't been for James and Jeff, Craig would be roadkill right now! What was he thinking?

Eve - He wasn't thinking. All he feels is pain and guilt. You were there Alex, you know what Thuvan made Craig do. That's not something you just get over.

Alex - Well, how do we make things right?

Eve – You make things sound like there’s one solution to one problem but you don’t understand. A hit in the head is not going to help. The way you act completely without thinking, sometimes I think you are absolutely insane!!

Alex – (sarcastic) Well I try. (seriously now) I bet you could make him get over this. He talks to you.

Eve – We need something more . . . like answers to questions about why this happened. I was thinking . . . about going to Turkey and India . . . and taking Craig with me.

Alex - Whoa! What?? Permanently?

Eve - No no. Just for a little while. Maybe a Month. We could go to that temple, the last temple of Eli.

Alex - I can't believe this.

Eve - If you really cared about him you'd take him there yourself.

Alex - (looks at her dangerously) Are you implying that I don't care?

Eve- (sighs) No. I'm just saying that he needs help. More help than you or I can provide alone. He's lost and maybe some spiritual guidance could help him find his way, help him heal. I need some answers about some things too. That's why I think Craig and I should go.

Alex - No.

Eve - Excuse me

Alex - I'm sick of this. I say we face things head on right now!!!

Alex storms out of the centre with a panicked Eve behind her

We pan around Craig's bedroom while music starts to play. Craig is sitting on his bed staring out the window.

Wait. Hallucinations back in place
I said I'd call if I can't face another day of normal
But it's what they gave me

Craig hears knocking at his door. He doesn't answer.

Jeff -(voice outside the door) Craig man are you in there? Come on. Answer the door.

Alex - (voice)Craig get your ass out here now!!!

Craig rolls his eyes

but now the telephone's on fire
and I can't seem to dial even though I know your there
to save my soul, tonight

Craig still doesn't answer.

Eve - (voice) Craig please open up! We need to talk.

Craig looks up at Eve's voice but looks to the ground again and whispers to himself

Craig - I can't. I just can't

Alex - (voice) Oh screw this!!

All of a sudden the bedroom door breaks from its hinges and flies halfway across the room and slides to a stop beside Craig's feet. He look up and sees Alex standing there with her foot still in the air from kicking it in. She sets her foot down and Eve just shakes her head while Jeff's jaw drops open

Jeff - (comment lined with sarcasm) Thanks Alex, because I love it when you break down the doors in my apartment.

Alex - Get over it. Craig . . .talk to us.

Craig just looks at her

Alex - (pleading now) Please.

Craig sighs and gets up. He looks to both Eve and Alex and nods

Jeff – (looks between them and takes a hint) I'll leave for a while. Let you guys sort things out

Jeff heads out. As he closes the apartment door behind him Alex Craig and Eve stand there in a triangle formation just staring at one another.

Craig - (clears his throat) So? What did you guys want to talk about?

Eve – About going away for awhile

Alex – That’s not . . .

Eve - (puts her hand up a motion to Alex to back down) You’re trapped Craig. I understand why you feel the way that you do but I can't help you work through it. You won't work through it.

Craig – What do you want from me Eve?

Eve – To be honest with yourself and us. Everything Thuvan did is haunting you and yet you don't want absolution. You just want the pain to end. That's what really happened this morning isn't it Craig?

Craig looks away, his silence confirming Eve's statement

Eve - Jeff and James were there to save you this time but what about the next time.

Craig - (looks at the kitchen table and the coffee mug) It's not fair. (picks up the coffee mug and throws it against the wall smashing it into tiny pieces) IT'S NOT FAIR!!(whips around to face Alex and Eve who are shocked by his outburst) WHY DID THIS HAPPEN!!? WHY ME!!? WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS? EVERYTHING I'VE EVER DONE AND WORKED FOR HAS BEEN RIPPED AWAY.(voice lowers to barely more then a whisper) My life was taken, my mission was taken, my family and friends were taken. And I returned with nothing but the memories of what he made me do. I have no place in this world, no life, no answers, just memories of evil and remnants of it living inside of me.

Alex – Craig . . .

Craig - I'm scared that I'm this person now. Thuvan wasn't a demon. He was a human man with this dark evil inside of him and its awakened the darkest parts of me. Its taking me over. I'm too weak to fight it!! AND THIS IS WHO I AM NOW!!!

Eve- (rushes over to Craig and puts her hands on the side of his face forcing him too look at her) I wish I could give you answers. I wish I could tell you why. But I don't know. But the one thing I do know is that you are not evil!

Craig - I don't know who or what I am. I don't know anything anymore

Eve - You need answers. And there is a place where we can get them. The last temple of Eli. You found answers there once, it can help again. A lot of things are unclear for the both of us but if we go we can find answers together.

Alex sneers at the affectionate gestures between Craig and Eve but Craig takes Eve's hand away from his face and looks at her questionably.

Craig - What about Alex?

Alex - Oh good. I'm so glad someone remembered I was here

Eve - Alex, could just shut up and be supportive for once! This is not about you!

Alex - No, actually this is not about you!

Eve - You're not making any sense!

Alex - I'm his friend! I was here with him from the beginning. I was the one he left for 6 months while he went to rehab, I'm the one who followed him into demon hunting. I'm the one who helped him bring you here! I'm the one who grieved every moment I thought he was dead! I'm the one who torn between killing him and getting him back when Thuvan took his body!! ITS NOT ABOUT YOU! ITS ABOUT HIM AND ME AND YOU JUST WANT TO LEAVE ME BEHIND!

Eve - New York still needs protection. You're a God Alex. You can keep this city safe

Alex - (scoffs) Right!! I'm a god. So you can just leave me alone! Alone with this emotional mess! Again!! Alone when my parents died, alone when Craig died, always alone!!

Alex walks away slamming and banging on her way out.

COMMERCIAL

Cut to the street outside Jeff's apartment building. Alex bursts out the door and runs down the street crying. She pushes past people in the early morning. They all look at her strangely as she pushes past but she doesn't notice. She runs across the street to a church and behind that church into a wooded area with a cemetery. She runs a little farther as she hears her name being called out and continues to run faster until suddenly someone grabs her arm and is whipped around. Alex is face to face with Eve.

Alex - (pushes her away roughly) Get away from me!!

Eve - Alex! Stop! This is not about leaving you alone!! It's about Craig. Its about healing so he can come back to you the way he should be. Like this you're still alone and he's still in pain.

Alex - Why do you have to go with him!! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO ALWAYS BE THE ONE TO SAVE HIM! You don't love him like I do! I LOVE HIM I SHOULD SAVE HIM.

Eve doesn't say anything. She just stands there shocked. Alex looks at Eve expecting her to say something but Eve's eyes aren't focused on her but just past her. Alex turns around and sees Craig.

Alex – (takes a deep breath) I love you but I didn't do enough to save you. Is that why you love Eve more than me?

Craig shakes his head and stumbles toward her with his arms wide. Alex runs into his arms crying and hugs him tightly!

Craig – You are my best friend Alex. From beginning to the end. Nothing will change that. But everything else has changed. I've changed.

Alex continues to hug Craig with tears in her eyes. She looks to Eve knowing that Craig completely missed what she said. Craig doesn't notice and continues

Craig - I'm afraid Alex. That evil that Thuvan had, it infected me. It feels like that's all I have left.

Alex – (lets go and looks straight at him)No! You have me and I know who you are.

Craig - I don’t want your forgiveness Alex. I don’t deserve it.

Eve walks over to Craig and Alex with tears in her eyes as they break away

Eve – You don’t need it Craig, you didn’t do anything wrong. But you do need help and answers and so do I. You’re angry at what Thuvan did and you should be. If we can understand why, we can start to heal.

Craig looks over to Alex.

Alex – I know who you are and I know that I need you here.(looks to Eve)But this isn’t about me. (looks back to Craig sad but resigned) I can't help you. But I can help keep New York safe while you go and get the help you need.

Craig – I don’t know what to do. I don't think anything can help.

Eve - We can at least try. Just say the word.

Suddenly, a figure comes out of nowhere pushing them all down and grabbing Alex's coat right off her arms flipping her over. Alex, Eve and Craig look up. It's just a common thief running away. Craig however gets an angry look in his eyes and runs after him.

Eve - Craig! No! Wait!!!

Alex - Craig he's just a thief!

Eve and Alex get panicked as they get up and run after him.

Cut to Craig running after the thief as he finally catches up and jumps him. He turns the thief over and raises his fist to punch him. The thief looks back up at him with fear. Craig just looks at him. He remembers the way Thuvan held him up by the neck and the fear. Craig lowers his fist. Craig gets up and picks up Alex's jacket.

Craig - You're just a thief. You don't deserve to get the crap kicked out of you. Get out of here

The thief just nods and runs off. Craig turns around to see Eve and Alex standing there.

Alex – Craig?

Craig - I need help.

Eve – I know a good place to start.

Craig nods as he hands Alex back her jacket. She smiles a little as she takes the jacket. She looks over to Eve who nods and they all walk away in silence.

COMMERCIAL

Cut to the evening when the sun is setting. We pan around the city until we see the roof of the Centre. Cut to a close up of the roof where Craig is sitting watching the sun set. Alex from the opposite side of the roof walks over and sits beside him. Neither one says anything for the moment they just stare out at the sunset content with each others company.

Alex - You know, for a girl, I can be a dick!

Craig - (laughs) No argument there.

Alex - (smiles) Do you remember our first day of grade school?

Craig - (laughs a little) Yeah. Some kid teased you and you decked him in one punch. The teacher made to sit in the corner for a week during recess and lunch.

Alex - I just kept thinking what a horrible person I was. When Friday came, in the last ten minuets of lunch, you came up beside me, gave me watermelon bubblegum and told me I was not a bad person. Right then I knew everything was going to be okay. That small gesture made everything better. (pauses for a minute then continues light heartedly) Then you promptly avoided me for two weeks because kids started teasing you about being my boyfriend

Craig - (rolls his eyes with a smile on his face) Is there a point behind this trip down memory lane?

Alex takes Craig's hand and puts a handful of watermelon bubblegum in his hand. He looks down at his hand then back up to her

Alex - I wanted you to know that you are not a bad person.

Craig smiles as he looks at the bubble gum. He pockets it then puts his arm around Alex's shoulders as she lays her head on his shoulder.

Alex - I think you should go with Eve

Craig - Yeah, me too.

Alex and Craig watch the finally rays of the sun fade out into the night.

Fade to the next day. Eve, Craig, Alex, Jeff and James are all standing in the airport. Eve and Craig are there with backpacks. Alex pulls Eve away for a minute.

Alex - So is your luggage all set?

Eve - Yeah it should be on the plane by now but I don't think you wanted to ask me about my luggage

Alex – Uh, yeah. So here's the thing. I'm a bitch. I'd like to say I'm working on it but I'm not.

Eve - (teasing) Was that supposed to be a surprise?

Alex - I'm trying to apologize here.

Eve - (smiles and shakes her head) Alex you don't need to say anything. It's like what you said about Craig. I know who you are. I'm just sorry you felt this way. You have to know that I would never shut you out. I love you like a sister. You and Craig are the first real friends that I've ever had. I never understood the bond my mother and Gabrielle had until I met you two.

Alex – (smiles and hugs Eve) Thanks

Flight attendant - (voice over speakers) Last call for flight 204 New York to Istanbul boarding at gate 50.

Craig - That's us Eve. We better go.

Alex gives Craig and Eve a big hug each.

Alex - Don't worry I hold down the fort

Jeff - We all will

Eve - I know. New York couldn't be in better hands

Alex - You two take care of each other or I kick your ass when you get back

Craig - I wouldn't expect anything else.

Craig and Eve smile and wave good bye as they turn to leave.

We cut to a bird's eye view of Craig and Eve walking toward their gate

Eve - (voice over commentary) Things can never go back to way they used to be. But then nothing ever stays the same. I wonder if they same is true about destiny. Does the path we take to meet that destiny change and adapt to fit the time, the situation, the life we live in. I've often said that destiny comes to pass in strange ways. It passes in ways we could never expect.
