We open with a pan along the Manhattan Skyline at night and fade to a bird's eye view of time square and the New York nightlife. We fade into a bird's eye view over central park at night. We pan down through the trees and we see Craig beating up on a demon as Eve leans her back against a tree just watching him. Craig sends two punches to the demons side then lands it with an uppercut punch knocking the demon off its feet.

Eve - (She lets out a sigh) You're still mad at her aren't you?

Craig - I'm not mad

As the demon gets up Craig turns around and head butts the demon knocking it down again

Craig - (picks up the lid off of a trash can) I'm furious.

Craig swings around and hits the demon up side the head with the lid then swings around the other way and repeats the move. Craig then bangs the demon over the head repeatedly with the lid until the lid is bent. Eve tosses Craig the sword and he slices the demons head off.

Craig - (faces Eve again) Aren't you? She went against everything we stand for.

Eve - I keep thinking about what I would have done and what lengths I might have gone had my hand been forced. She did what she did for James

Craig - The ends don't always justify the means Eve! In this fight we have a code that we abide by. Its what makes us different then the enemy we fight against. It stops us then becoming them.

Eve - Alex knows that too. She got out of hand, I agree on that but, it was James. I know I would sacrifice myself for a greater good but I don't think I could sacrifice someone else. Could you?

Alex - (voice) HEADS UP!!

A demon comes flying out of nowhere over Craig's and Eve's head

Craig - Oh! Speak of the dev. . .

Eve covers his mouth.

Eve – Don't you dare!

Alex comes flipping through the air and bicycle kicks the demon in the chest.

Cut to a blond man with a full beard taking a long drag of his cigarette. From a great distance he watches Alex battle with the demon. To Eve Craig and Alex he is concealed in shadow. Another blond man with blond goatee and moustache, appears to the right. It is Etan

Etan - I see you've found her Egan.(turns head to the side talking to someone else) What do you think Eric?

Another blond man with spiked blond hair appears out of the shadows to the far right of Etan. We pan to the left so now Etan is front and center. Egan and Eric farther back are on either side of him

Eric - It that her?

We cut to Alex as she brings her hands up. Two blue spheres glow in her hands and she smashes both hands on either side of the demons head blowing him up. Eve points to behind Alex as they see another demon coming. Etan Egan and Eric see her throw a sphere of fire at the demon.

Cut back to Etan, Egan and Eric

Etan – (smiles) It's her.

Cut to Central park at night. There is a smoking carcass of a dead demon laying on the ground. We pan up and see Alex standing by the carcass dusting off her hands.

Alex - And that is that. (turns to face Craig and Eve) Gee I wonder what would have happened if I hadn't used my powers.

Eve - Don't be like that Alex

Alex turns to leave

Eve - Wait!!

Alex stops and turns back to Eve

Alex - I don't have any regrets about my actions.

Eve- I get it! You pushed Edith the way you did to save James life. No one is begrudging you that. Can we just go back to the centre and talk about this?

Alex - What's to talk about? I'm fighting for life. What are you fighting for?

Alex turns to leave and begins to walk away

Eve - (calls out to her) Our Souls!

Alex shakes her head and keeps on walking. Craig growls and throws his hands up in frustration.

Craig - She is insufferable!! (kicks at a bush)She has no idea! She has no idea what she's done. Defending James in that way completely disregarded our code! She's always been this arrogant. Doing what she wants when she wants!

Eve – (turns towards him slowly) Why are you being so hard on her? You're usually the one defending her.

Craig - It's more complicated now.

Eve - (almost sarcastic) Why? It sounds like it's because you're sleeping with her. (sees Craig's sheepish look) YOU'RE SLEEPING WITH HER!!

Craig - It's not like that! . . . It's not only like that.

Eve - (softens) I know. You love her. As much as she loves you!

Craig - It's only been going on for a few weeks. I want a relationship . . . but I remember what scared me about the whole idea of a relationship with Alex. She runs with her emotions. She's chaotic. She's like a force of nature. Sometimes its amazing and works for what we do at night. . .

Eve - I'll bet!

Craig - I meant the demon hunting! But it doesn't work when you're trying to help people find a path beyond chaos. It also doesn't make for a stable relationship. I don't know how things will work out.

Cut to Alex walking through Central Park, lost in her own thoughts and muttering to herself.

Alex - Our souls . . . Our souls . . My soul . . . I'm a freaking god, why do I need worry about my soul.

Etan - (voice) Sounds like you're being limited.

Alex - (turns to Etan surprised and tries to evades that fact he overheard her) Well, we can't help that now, can we?

Alex turns away and comes face to face with Egan

Egan - You could probably help that, if you really wanted to.

Eric - (comes from off side and begins to circle Alex) Especially with the gifts you possess.

Alex - (shakes her head) I don't what you're talking about

Etan - (comes to stand in front of her) We've seen you use your powers.

Alex - Nope, sorry. Maybe you're just seeing things.

Egan - Do we have to feign ignorence? We know of demons, of super powers and of gods. We have been sent to you by Apollo

Etan - We are the Brothers of Apollo.

Alex - Oh you gotta be kidding me. You’re one of those guys?

Alex brushes past them and walks off in a hurry

The men run to block her way

Alex - (raises her fist) Don't make me punch you!!

Egan - (scoffs) You're not going to hurt us. We're defenseless.

Alex - Yeah? Well that really hasn't been bothering me lately

Eric - We know about Arubis and what he did here. He was a fool!! He would have created chaos and the Gods want order. But your actions took care of that.

Alex - (slowly) It was an accident.

Eric - Or a decree of your divine order?

Etan - You are from a divine line. You may not realize the power and wisdom in your actions because you are being repressed. We saw that here tonight.

Alex - What do you want from me?

Egan - Apollo has asked us to help you embrace your heritage and realize your true power.

Alex - I don't need help from Apollo. I know who I am and what I can do. I have a mission. I don't have time . . .

Eric - Use your powers to accomplish that mission. You could do more than just fight the demons. You can address the root cause, stop the problem of demons altogether and change people for the better. You can change the world.

Alex – I know what I am and that's the muscle. I leave the life changing stuff to others.

Egan – Hercules did much good with his powers. He was all muscle and all heart.

Alex – Yeah I know he (thinks about it). . .He did help people.

Etan - All we are asking from you is a few hours of your time. All we want to do is talk. Share ideas, experiences, talk about how the gods have helped us. If you are not convinced we'll bother you no more.

Alex is stunned into silence. She doesn't know what to say. She looks at them a nods.

Fade to much later back at the centre. Eve is tapping her foot worriedly and James looks over to her as if he is getting annoyed and she stops abruptly. Morgan and Jeff are sitting down at a table. Morgan is resting her head in her arms. Craig is pacing around.

Craig - Where the hell is she?

Morgan - She's a god isn't she? I'm sure she can take care of herself. Can't we just go to bed?

Jeff - I have to agree with her on this one. I'm beat

Eve - We have a general rule. We all meet up here at 3:00 am. This is so we know everyone is okay.

Craig - She can't just do what she wants because she's part god.

James - Oh please. Why don't you just admit that you're jealous that Alex did what she did for me. Is it so bad she believed I was important enough to fight for.

James and Craig look like they are about to face off when Eve steps in front of them

Eve – I think we can all agree we all would have done what ever was nessessary to save James but Alex is part god. she has a greater responsibility to use her powers wisely. Not to intimidate people into submission.

Alex - (voice) You're right.

Everyone turns to see Alex

Craig - Where have you been?

Alex - Out. You know all I wanted to do was help James. That's all I was thinking about.

Eve - (sighs) We know. But the gods ruled with fear Alex. Don't be like that.

Alex - I completely agree with you

Eve - (surprised) You do? (recovers) I mean, you do.

Alex - My powers are more than just blowing up demons. I've always been good at kicking ass but I never thought about the other side. About being benevolent and nurturing. I can reach people. I've never realized how much good I can really do.

Everyone is really surprised by this and they look at each other confused by her sudden change in attitude and new found enthusiasm

Alex - We can really make a difference, we can really change peoples lives. It doesn't have to be under the dark of night. I mean, of course we will still protect people and fight demons but with my god hood and the fact I don't need sleep anymore, we can do good 24 hours a day!

Jeff - You must have had one hell of an epiphany

Alex - I made a huge judgment call when I took a more forceful approach with Edith. That was wrong. I've realized that it doesn't have to be that way. I can be better than that.

Eve - What do you mean?

Alex - (shakes her head) It's late and you all need rest and sleep. We can talk about this more tomorrow. We're going to have a lot of work to do. (turns around with pep and energy and heads out) Don't forget to lock up!

Cut to outside the centre Alex. Craig runs out after her and grabs her by the elbow to turn her around

Craig - Alex . . .look, we really need to talk . . .not just about what you did but how it affects us.

Alex - Craig, you don't have to say anything. I see things differently now.

Craig – You don’t need to change Alex. I love you just the way you are. I know you thought what you were doing was right and on some level it was but you know we can’t work like that.

Alex - I know

Craig - And . . . maybe I was a little jealous the way you rose to James' defense.

Alex – Things really did get more complicated now that we’re going out.

Craig – I don’t want us to fight each other but we have to be together in every way, now more than ever. If we can’t even act as a team how can we ever have a relationship?

Alex – Things will be different now. I promise.

Craig – I do love you.

Alex – (brings her hands up and cups his face) And I love you. Always have. Things will get better. We just need be more open, more honest. (looks over Craig's shoulder) Let's start with our relationship

Alex grabs Craig by the collar and gives a passionate kiss which he returns with equal enthusiasm!

Jeff - WHAT THE HELL!!!

Craig breaks away from Alex and sees Jeff and Morgan gawking at them. James is staring at them with wide eyes and Eve is looking down shaking her head trying to hide her smile.

Craig - (looks back to Alex a little out of breath) So we’re cool? (sees Alex nod and smiles)

Alex laughs as she gives Craig one last peck on the lips before pushing him off to Jeff's car. Alex hears Jeff freaking out at Craig while Craig is telling him to calm down and just drive. Alex shakes her head and laughs as she watches them drive off before looking back to James Eve and Morgan. She just smiles, shrugs and walks off.

Cut to across the street where Etan Eric and Egan watch her walk off.

Egan - What is she doing with that moron?

Etan - He's not important. She trusts us now and is willingly embracing her heritage. Step one is completed. Her friends will be a problem though. She trusts them too much. When she tells them about us they will convince her not to listen and if The Messenger should find out Alexandra's true purpose she will take her out.

Eric - So what is step two?

Etan - Get Alex away from the Messenger.

COMMERCIAL

Cut to the next morning outside the building of Alex's loft. Alex is walking along with a coffee on top of a box filled with donuts in her hand. She walks up to the entrance when she sees Eve and Morgan coming from the other direction.

Alex - Hey what's up? (opens the box ) Donut?

Morgan takes a donut happily but Eve shakes her head declining. She looks at Alex confused

Eve - You're wearing the same clothes from last night.

Alex - (nods her head like nothing is wrong) I know. I didn't even go home last night.(gets out her keys and open the entrance door) I'm just getting in now. I have so much energy I barely know what to do with myself.

Cut to inside Alex's loft. Alex opens the door to her loft and the three girls walk in. Alex, Eve and Morgan stop and look at Alex's loft in shock.

We pan around Alex's loft filled with lush pillows and exotic flowers. There is antique urns and vases on marble pillars, long flowing curtains and fabrics of all colours made from velvet, satin and silk. There are jewels and jewelry and gold statues that look like Alex. Alex looks around her loft in wonder. She is surprised but happy. Eve and Morgan on the other hand have their eyes practically popping out of their heads.

Morgan - Wow!

Eve - Alex! What happened to your loft?!

Alex - (almost laughing) I can't believe they did this?

Eve - Who?

Alex - They must have done this while I was out!!

Eve - Alex who did this?

Alex – These guys I met. I was talking to them last night. They really helped me rethink our whole mission (walks up to gold statue of her and looks back to Eve) What do you think? Too much?

Eve- Alex!!

Alex - What?!

Eve - You're kidding right? Like you're not at all concerned that your loft has been turned into a temple to you!

Alex - I'm shocked too!

Morgan - Yeah, you look real appalled.

Alex - Hey, I didn't say it wasn't pleasant but it is a little too much. I'll talk to the boys.

Eve - How do these "boys" know you're a god?

Alex - ( rolls her eyes) They saw us fighting. They saw me use my powers. But they weren't freaked out. They were actually very accepting of me and very encouraging of some of the choices I've made as a god. They didn't come down on me for the wrong ones either.

Eve - (sighs) Okay I accept that we confronted you about it the wrong way. You scared us.

Alex - But they weren't scared. They convinced me to really grab hold of who I am and accept my heritage. With my powers I can make a difference. Like Hercules. I spent the rest of last night going around the city and cataloguing the demon problem

Eve - Cataloguing?

Alex - Yeah, we should have all of New York cleared of any hell mouths and demons in just a few months.

Eve - Alex, it's not that easy.

Alex – Why can’t it be? Did you know the amount of hell mouths that open is in direct correlation with the evil people do to one another. If we can make people better, make them stop doing evil towards each other, the hell mouths will close, then no more demons and then BAM no more evil.

Eve – Life doesn’t work like some scientific formula. There is no "BAM" and evil's gone.

Alex – Look we can talk about everything more at the centre. Just let me get changed.

Eve - I'd say you've changed enough already. I'd like to know who these boys are and why they're putting these ideas in your head

Alex - (goes in to her bedroom) Yeah Yeah

Morgan - (sighs and looks around) She doesn't have a bad idea Eve. And she is a god. What's wrong with being worshipped like one.

Eve - Alex is also part mortal. No one should be worshipped like a god. Just look at the greek gods. When they started to believe thier own hype people started to die.

Cut to the centre. Alex walks in brown leather pants, brown platform shoes, a rose coloured peasant top, Gucci sunglasses resting on the top of her head and the necklace Craig gave her around her neck. Alex puts down her brown leather Versace hand bag on the counter as Eve and Morgan walk in behind her a little put out being dressed way down since they are in plain tee shirts and jeans. James turns around and sees Alex

James - Whoa!

Alex - What?

Eve - Yes, she's showing off all her little gifts. A regular Aphrodite!

Alex - Hey!

James - (blinks a few times and shakes his head)Don't follow.

Eve - Alex I know how you like your "stuff" but don't you think all this (gestures to her look) is a little excessive?

Alex - I like it.

Eve - And I'm a worried about that.

Craig and Jeff come in, in workout gear.

Craig - Hey! any chance we can get in an early morning workout before the rush comes in?

Jeff and Craig stop short and look at Alex in shock. They both cock their head to the side.

Craig - Alex?

Alex smiles and comes around that counter over to Craig and gives him a big kiss much to the surprise of everyone.

Jeff - I don't know if I'll ever get used to that!

Alex - (Breaks away from Craig and looks to Jeff )Well you better. This is the new me. Open and honest. (looks around to everyone.)And I want to talk to you about something. I've thought it over. I want to tell people, the world that I'm a god. It’s the only way to change people.

Craig – What?! What is with you?

Eve – Good question. Your apartment, your clothes, your look, your newfound cheeriness that, by the way, is kind of disturbing, it's not you. Do you mind telling us what's going on? Where is this all coming from?

Etan - (voice) From us.

Everyone turns to see Etan, Eric and Egan standing in the entrance. Alex smiles and walks over to them.

Alex - These are the boys I was telling you about.

Etan - I am Etan, these are my brothers Eric and Egan. We are the Brothers of Apollo

James&Jeff - WHAT!!

Alex - No it's not like that! I know what you're thinking. I thought it too but they are not like Arubis. They were orphaned as children. Apollo and his priests took them in. He helped raise them.

Craig - To do what?

Alex - Craig . . .

Egan - It's a fair question. We are training to become priests ourselves. The Olympian Gods orders are dwindling. We hope to replenish the masses. But Apollo gave us a special mission to find Alex first. They are blood after all.

Eve - Alex says you guys helped her "see the light" so to speak

Etan - We just helped her realize her potential and how under your leadership it was being . . . squandered

Eve - Excuse me?

Alex – They helped me rethink my position in the team. We could do much more good if I embraced being a god. A full god

Craig - What does that mean?

Eric - She will take ambrosia and rise to her rightful place. Try to keep up simpleton!

Alex - Hey! There's no need for that!

Eric - My apologies. I spoke out of turn.

Eve - (raises her hand to hold Craig back) Alex you don't need to be a full god to do good. You know this.

Alex - I know that no real change has come from me half-assing it. Its status quo.

Craig - We have made some difference

Egan - Oh yeah, and what do you do really? Why do you think there is evil? It's not just demons. People have no hope, they live in poverty and despair. They turn to drugs, then crime and then violence. Chaos follows because they don't know what to do in the mad scramble for power and meaning. You don't address the sociological and economical root causes! You just punch things!

Eve - First we fight the demons, saving lives, giving people a chance to choose their own fate. If they don't know the right way, then we show them, help them, give them the tools to make the right path work and have faith in it. We don't force people to be one way or the other. That's not freedom. That's servitude. Alex you can't possibly be considering what these men are suggesting.

Alex - Why not?

Eve - Because they are suggesting that you rule people not help them! Do you ever wonder what they really want?

Eric - We only wish to serve her.

Etan - She is the one to bring back the gods and usher in a new Olympian Order.

Alex - (turns around to face them in shock) You didn't say anything about that!

Craig - A NEW OLYMPIAN ORDER?

Eve- Don’t you realize what happened under their rule? What could happen if they come back?

Egan - Or maybe you're just jealous of Alex and her power.

Etan - (looks to Alex) She can't stand the fact that your destiny is greater than hers. That you are the true chosen one.

Morgan - That's bull!

Jeff - Alex don't listen to them. These golden boys have no idea what they're talking about.

Alex - Okay, come on guys. I know Eve. She's not jealous. She's not like that.

Craig - Well at least you're clear on something.

Egan - All they do is insult and question you!

Alex - Okay, just hold on for one second!!

Egan in anger jumps over to Craig and tackles him to the ground.

Alex - WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!

Etan - They do not trust you! They do not have faith in you. If you let them continue to surpress you they will destroy you!!

Eve - Alex. We are your friends. We care about you and love you. We don't want you to get hurt.

Alex looks back over to Craig and Egan. Craig gets up and punches Egan in the gut and sends an uppercut to Egan jaw knocking him to the ground. Egan reacts quickly and kicks the legs out from under Craig.

Alex - Craig!

Morgan jumps up on to a table and launches herself on to Craig and Egan knocking them both to the ground. Etan uses this distraction to grab Eve and twists her arm behind her back. Eve yells out and kicks her leg up behind her and kicks Etan making him let go of her. James and Jeff tackle Eric to the ground. Alex is conflicted and doesn't know what to do. Eve backs away from Etan. Etan charges at her and she ducks and flips Etan over her and he goes crashing to the ground

Cut back to Craig and Morgan squaring off against Egan. Egan punches Craig so hard in flips Craig over on to his back. Morgan kicks Egan hard in the chest twice before punching his right cheek. Morgan is about to punch his left cheek when Egan catches her arm. Morgan then hits him five times from everywhere to chest to stomach to kidneys to get him off but he still has hold of her arm. He laughs at her struggling before Morgan smirks and spins around twisting his arm behind his back as Craig get up to attack again. Egan just runs up Craig hitting him in the face and knocking Craig down again. Egan flips back making Morgan let go of his arm and throws her down to the ground. Craig runs up jumps kicks Egan in the chest with his right foot then kicks him in the face with is left foot knocking Egan down. Egan stands up slowly and spits blood from his mouth. He scream as he grabs Morgan by her hair spins her around and sends her crashing into Craig.

Jeff - (distracted) MORGAN!!

Eric uses this distraction to hit Jeff in the face knocking him down. James jumps on Eric back but Eric just flips James over. Jeff spins his legs around and kicks Eric in the face. Jeff gets up and backhands Eric in the face as James swipes the feet out from under Eric. Eric falls to the ground as Jeff and James get up. Eric propels himself up by his legs kicking both Jeff and James in face knocking them down as Eric lands on his feet. James jumps back up again and hits Eric twice. Eric moves to punch James but James flips back ward dodging the punch gracefully then catching Eric's other hand flips Eric over. Eric unfortunately lands on his feet. He stomps James on the foot then spins him around and throws him into Jeff.

Cut to Eve and Etan. Eve is dodging Etan swipes. He stumbles each time he misses her and is getting very annoyed. He has her back up against wall. He moves to punch her and she dodges and Etan ends up punching in the wall. He screams pulling his hand out and grabbing on hold of Eve's head and smashing it against the wall. Eve trying to get him to let go of her head thrusts her head down pushing her foot up behind her and kicks him in the face causing him to stumble back. He charges at Eve again and she grimaces before kicking him in the chest. Etan charges at her again and Eve grabs him by the shirt and flips him over. Eric runs over to Etan's aid. Eve spins around and does and handless cartwheel kicking Eric in the face knocking him down. Etan gets up hastily and puts his arms around Eve's neck attempting to choke her. Eric was about to help when he ambushed by James and Jeff.

Cut to Alex who sees Eric being ambushed, Craig and Morgan still fighting fiercely with a grunting and growling Egan and Eve having the life choked out of her. Alex suddenly gets very angry.

Alex - EEENNOOUUGH!!!!!!!!

Alex spreads her arms out wide and flash occurs through out the centre. Everyone is pushed back from the force of it. Eve, Craig, Morgan, James and Jeff to one wall, Etan Egan and Eric to the opposite. Everyone groans as they get up. Eve looks to Alex in shock.

Alex - Alright! That's enough!! Stop it now!

Craig - They started it!

Alex - SHUT UP!!

Etan - They are afraid of your destiny. They will destroy you.

Alex - They are my friends. They wouldn't harm me!

Eric - What if harming you is part of what they believe is for a greater good.

Alex looks over to the five, afraid of the answer. Eve just shakes her head

Eve - Alex, no. You're my friend. I would never.

Alex - I thought that pushing Edith was for a greater good. Would killing me be for a greater good as well?

Eve - (shakes her head) I won't hurt you!

Etan - You have a destiny!

Eric - And one way or another

Egan - You're coming with us!

Egan throws a dart at Alex. It hits her in the neck. Her hand goes up to her neck as her eyes widen in shock. She falls to the ground unconscious.

Craig - ALEX!!

Eve - ALEX NO!

Etan throws a small sliver ball to the ground blowing the five off their feet. Smoke fills the room. As it clears Eve gets up and looks frantically around. The smoke clears away and Etan, Eric, Egan and Alex are gone.

COMMERCIAL

Cut to Eve's apartment. Eve is in her closet throwing out swords and cross bows. Craig comes in and dodges out of the way of an incoming sword.

Craig - Eve!

Eve comes out of the closet shocked and hugs Craig.

Eve - I'm so sorry!

Craig - For what? The sword or Alex?

Eve - (pulls away and goes back to getting out weapons) Both

Craig - (pulls her out of the closet) Jeff, James and Morgan are waiting downstairs if you're ready to do this.

Eve - What do you mean "if"? We're going to save Alex.

Craig - I had a vision back in the Middle East Eve. I spoke with the Arch Angel Michael. He said a time like this would come when we would have to choose whether to save Alex or sacrifice her for the greater good. We can't let our own personal feelings get in the way. Maybe we should just . . .

Eve - What? Let Alex turn into some crazy god? Let those . . . those . . . golden boys make a sacrifice out of her? If I can't save my friends who can I save? What's the matter with you? Alex is your girlfriend and before that your friend!! Don't you care? Don't you lo . . .

Craig - (grabs Eve by the shoulders roughly) DON'T YOU EVER SAY I DON'T LOVE ALEX!!! Because I do. I love her with all my heart

Eve - (pulls away from him) Then save her!

Eve grabs a sword and her chakram and walks out the door.

Fade to a close up of Alex's face. Her eyes are closed but they flutter open. Pan out to Alex laying out on a pile of large white plush pillows. She gets up and looks around. Her hands go to her neck. She feels the puncture wound on her neck. She looks forward and sees Etan Eric and Egan standing, hands folded in front.

Alex - What did you do to me?

Etan - We needed to get you away from the Messenger. She would have destroyed you

Alex - (slowly gets up) You don’t understand. . .

Eric - No. It's you who doesn't understand. Your encounter with Arubis and the orb has changed you.

Egan - If the Messenger was to ever find out, she would kill you. We have to protect you

Alex - What are you talking about?

Egan - She will try to destroy you because you will bring back the Olympian Gods.

Eric - You are the vessel. When you thought you destroyed that orb, you just released their essence.

Alex - That was all real.

Etan - That was the same type of orb that held them while Dahak was in power. When the orb was destroyed, you became filled with the essence of all the gods that were destroyed during twilight. When the alignment of the planets happens and all the constellations are seen in the night sky the gods will be brought forth.

Egan - Don't you feel stronger with the power you have building inside of you?

Alex - I don't know what you guys thought happened when I went up against Arubis but . . .

Eric - You are only one strong enough to withstand the amount of life force they can take from you. After they have been reborn, you will be given ambrosia to be brought back to life and do all the things we discussed with your family by your side.

Alex - (shakes her head and stands up) You are all lunatics!

Etan - We will do what we have to, to protect you.

Alex - No! You do what I say!

Egan - We do what the god Apollo says! And our orders are to protect you at all costs. If that means subduing you, so be it! (makes a move to grab Alex's arm)

Alex spins around quickly out of Egan's grasp. She grabs his arm and pulls him up and holds him high above her head. She turns around and looks at Etan and Eric. She has a snarl on her face and her eyes are glowing white

Cut to Eve, Craig, Morgan, Jeff and James all walking with swords and weapons in their hands they cut through the park and head over to Alex's building.

James - Why are we going to Alex's loft?

Eve - What's the best place to honour a god or make a sacrifice?

Jeff - A god's temple?

Eve - Well guess what Alex's loft has recently been turned into.

Cut back to Alex holding Egan over her head in a rage, her eyes glowing white

Alex - YOU WILL DO AS WE SAY!!

Eric and Etan look to each other and look back to Alex. They have passive looks on their faces. They are not afraid.

Egan, unbeknownst to Alex, pulls a dart like the one before out if his pocket and jabs Alex in the neck. She screams and drops Egan and falls to her knees. Egan gets up and grabs Alex by the hair and jabs the dart into her neck again. She screams in anguish

Egan - You are only the vessel that will bring the true gods forth.

Alex falls to the ground unconscious again. Egan, Eric and Etan's heads all turn when they hear a crash come from downstairs.

Cut to downstairs of Alex's building. There is daylight coming in from the doorway as they just had the door kicked in. Eve, Craig, Morgan, Jeff and James walk in.

Etan, Egan and Eric run down the stairs to confront the five.

Eve - Where is she?

Etan - Where she belongs.

Eve nods slightly and Morgan and Craig get the signal. They both jump up attempting to flip over the golden boys but Eric and Egan both jumps up and knock them back down. Craig and James run forward to take down Eric while Morgan and Jeff advance of Egan. Eve looks to Etan.

Eve - It looks like it's just you and me again. It doesn't have to be this way.

Etan - Of course this is how it has to be!! The Oracle of Apollo decreed it. There will be death but the daughter of Evander and Persephone will be saved.

Eve – Well you know, those oracles were known for being vague.

Etan runs to attack Eve. He jumps up high ready to punch Eve down. Eve spins around with a roundhouse kick, leg high in the air and kicks Etan down. He falls to the ground and looks back up at Eve with anger.

Cut to Eric fighting James and Craig. Immediately James gets down and kicks the legs out from under Eric and while Eric is still in the air Craig quickly kicks him in the back and Eric flies into the far wall. Eric shakes it off and gets up again. He jumps over and kicks the sword up high out of James hand. Eric catches it. Eric spins the sword around at Craig who ducks the swipe, spins around and kicks Eric straight in the chest knocking Eric back.

Cut back to Eve and Etan. She throws her chakram at him but catches it effortlessly and throws it back at Eve who flips back to dodge the chakram. It gets embedded in a wall. Eve grabs a pair of saes out of the hilt on her back. She spins the saes around as Etan picks up a fallen sword. Eve blocks each swipe from the sword with the saes and pushes Etan back then hits him in the stomach with the butt of the sai and then punches him in the face. Etan swings again and Eve dodges, swings around and kicks Etan's arm holding the sword, back then hits Etan in the stomach, chest and face. Etan spins around and kicks the sai out of her grasp. She is shocked for a moment and Etan uses this opportunity to jumps up and kick her in the chest. Eve stumbles back but then quickly ducks the swipe from Etan and hits him in the back with her other sai. She blocks another swipe from the sword then kicks the sword out of Etan's hand. She then grabs his arm and throws him against the wall and then traps it with the sai. Etan punches Eve back and he grabs the sai out of the wall.

Cut back to James who picks up another sword. Eric dodges and ducks the swipes and chops James in the chest who in turn ducks a swipe from Eric and spins around and elbows him in the face. Craig attacks Eric with a spear who dodges it and grabs the spear and uses it to the block the sword swipes from James with Craig still holding on. James quickly drops the sword and grabs on to the other end of the spear. James and Craig get the spear out of Eric's grasp and close line him with it. They throw the spear away as Eric staggers to get up. James and Craig at the same time jump up and as Craig kicks Eric in the face James kicks Eric in the chest. The force of the kick sends Eric flipping backward haphazardly landing him on the stairs. He looks over to Etan in a panic

Etan - Go! Guard Alex. Make sure no one gets to her!!

Eric nods and quickly runs up the stairs to Alex's loft.

Cut back to Etan who slices at Eve who ducks and before he can swipe again, jumps, swings one leg around and kicks the sai out of his hand and uses the other leg kicking Etan in the chest knocking him down and tumbling head over feet. Etan looks over to Egan desperately.

Cut to Morgan, Jeff and Egan. Egan blocks the kicks and punches from Jeff and Morgan effortlessly with one hand as he dodges effectively out of their way. Morgan jumps in the air and tries to bicycle kick Egan but he blocks the kicks then grabs her by the leg and throws her into a wall before trying to kick Jeff who flips backwards coming to Morgan's aid. He picks Morgan up and spins her around. Morgan flies up and kicks Egan in the face hard. Egan falls down next to a crow bar which he picks up. He swings it at Morgan’s back, who flips over it. Egan then swings it at Jeff who ducks under it then runs to a wall jumps up, bounces off the wall and then kicks Egan in the chest. Egan is flown back as Morgan jumps high and lands on Egan's shoulders. She kicks Egan in the sides making him fall to his knees. Morgan then flips backwards taking Egan with her and flinging him into the wall next to the stairs. He looks quickly at Etan then runs up the stairs as Eric did moments before.

Morgan, Jeff, James and Craig all move to stand beside Eve as they corner Etan. Etan looks at all of them in a panic he is trying to contain. Suddenly they all hear a scream and a crash and see Eric land on the ground outside. He ceases to move.

Jeff - That's a three-story drop!!

Suddenly another crash is heard and Egan falls down beside Eric. Etan jumps up and swings around a poll. He kicks the five down before he flies up the stairs to Alex's loft. Eve, Morgan, James, Jeff and Craig all get up and groan. Jeff and Craig head out side and check the pulses of Eric and Egan. They look to each other and nod. Craig looks back to Eve.

Craig - They're both dead.

Eve - Alex!!

They all move to go upstairs before they hear a scream they turn to see Etan fall down on the ground also dead. They look at each other panicked and run upstairs.

Cut to Alex loft and Eve kicks open the door. They look around to room. Pan over to where we see Alex lying on the floor by the broken window. She is slipping in and out of consciousness as she lay among the shards of glass that lay everywhere. Everyone rushes over to Alex.

Craig and Eve lift her up and James arranges some pillows to lay her own as Morgan gets a cold cloth. Jeff looks out and around the window examining what exactly happened. Morgan brings the cloth over. Eve puts it on Alex's forehead and presses it against Alex's cheeks as well. Alex's eyes fluttered open. She springs up suddenly very panicked but Eve restrains her.

Eve - Alex! Alex it's just me.

Alex settled back down on the pillows.

Alex - What happened?

Craig - We were hoping you can tell us

Alex - (looks around wildly at her surroundings) Eric.

Eve - He's dead Alex

Alex - I know. He . . He tried to inject more of that stuff in me to knock me out. We were . . .(trying to remember) . . . struggling. I was trying to get him to stop. He lunged at me and I flipped him back . . . he . . .he fell out the window (breaks down crying)

Eve - Alex shhh.(comforts her) You were trying to defend yourself. I know you didn't mean for that to happen.

Alex - But Egan tried to attack me as well. He actually jabbed me in the neck with that stuff. I pushed him back and then everything went black

Eve - (sadly) He fell out the window too. He's dead.

Craig - (moves back Alex's hair to see the multiple puncture wounds in her neck from the needles and examines them) I think you'll be okay. You are a god. We all know you heal quickly.

Morgan - What about Etan? What happened to him?

Craig - He failed his God and lost his brothers. He would rather die then go back to face the wrath of Apollo. He probably committed suicide.

Alex falls to the pillow crying as Eve strokes Alex's hair trying to calm her down

Fade to later in Alex loft. James and Morgan have finished cleaning up the glass and the mess as Jeff walks through the door and Eve hangs up the phone.

Jeff - Anything legal and illegal has been covered. I don't know how much longer I can keep this up though. Captain’s starting to ask questions. Who were you on the phone to?

Eve - Anyone who can melt all this gold down. Alex wants it all gone and given away.

Jeff - Finally came back to her senses huh?

Eve- She felt special and it went to her head. And those boys did make some good points. She feels nothing but guilt now. She'll be punishing herself for a long time after this.

Jeff - How do you feel about all this? I'm not even sure how I feel. I mean, she killed some people. An accident maybe but it still happened. Can you live with that?

Fade out of the main room and fade into Alex's bedroom. Alex sitting on her bed her hands gripping the sheets. She is looking down at the floor. Craig is standing off to the side.

Alex - I was just sick of being questioned and critisized for every decision I make. I am not a child!!

Craig - You have the powers of a god. You can kill anyone with your kind of power and you're reckless with it! You scare us!

Alex looks up at Craig shocked.

Craig - (nods) Yeah. You are reckless, emotional and arrogant. If we don't question you, make you think, stupid crap like this happens!!

Alex - (looks back down to the ground) We should probably break up

Craiig - I'm not saying that.

Alex – You're right though. And we don’t know each other anymore. I’m changing. I am growing more powerful. I don't understand what’s going on but it’s dangerous. I might do something to you or someone else could hurt you to get to me and I just couldn't stand it . . if . . .I already lost you once Craig. If it happens again because of me. . . (shakes her head and looks away from him, squeezing her eyes shut trying to no cry)

Craig – (softens) Alex . . . come on now. .

Eve knocks slightly and enters.

Eve - Can I come in?

Craig - (looks to Alex then back at Eve and sighs) Yeah. I guess we're done.

Craig leaves as Eve comes in. She can feel the tension. She looks at Alex.

Eve - Everything alright?

Alex - (sniffs and wipes her eyes)Is that gold gone?

Eve - It will be. We'll melt it, pawn and sell it. We should get some good money. We'll be giving it away to a charity, a boys orphanage, and fund a program that will help young men find jobs and opportunity when they leave so they won't be driven to despair and commit suicide, like the three young men that did tonight

Alex - Is that the story we're going with? Good one.

Eve - How are you feeling?

Alex - Is that a trick question?

Eve - Well, at least you sound like your old self.

Alex - I really messed up. Didn't I?

Eve - Yes. But what is important is what you do now.

Alex - What I did to Edith . . .I really thought. . .

Eve - Alex, what you did, you did for friendship. I know that but I’ll never agree with the way you went about it. And I know you really want to use your powers to make a difference and eliminate evil. But in that kind of fight you need more than just good intentions.

Alex - Like?

Eve - Alex, you can't just make people good. All you can do is show them how to choose a better way and allow them to can make the choice themselves. Alex, the reason I was upset about using your powers the way you did . . . about this whole ordeal is because I don't want you becoming like the Gods of the old Olympian Order. You don't realize the reign of terror and fear they held over the people. I never want you to follow that path.

Alex - I don't intend to. But my powers can help, and help when we need it the most. There are going to be times when saving a life and saving the world mean sacrificing codes of honour.

Eve - You know, I was so sure I could sacrifice for the greater good if necessary but I'm not even sure what the greater good is. There may very well be something that can transcend that. I know my mother's and Gabrielle's love could but . . .

Alex - Can we? Is our friendship enough? Maybe, maybe not. Look, I know the kind of choice I made. And if it comes down to life and death I'll have to make a choice again and I won't have time to run it by you. You're going to have to trust me to do what is right

Eve - If I am to fight for the greater good I want to do it beside my friends. But we all need to be on the same page or this isn't going to work and we're over before we've even begun. I trust you Alex. I know you know what is right but I need to trust that you focus on that and not forcing it with your powers.

Alex - (stands up and looks at Eve) You're the boss. I'm just the muscle. I know what I am.
