Fade into a pan around the Statue of Liberty. We pan out from the Statue of Liberty to see Liberty Island, Ells Island then the Island of Manhattan. Fade out from the city as the sun rises. Fade to the morning sun shining in the large window of Alex's loft. We fade into Alex's room as a sleeping figure lies in the bed. We pan over to the alarm clock as it turns from 6:59 to 7:00. The alarm clock starts beeping. Alex turns over with her eyes open looking wide awake. She turns off her alarm and sits up.

Alex - (voice over commentary) I'm awake. I'm wide awake. I was out for nearly the whole night kicking demon ass, I got about two hours sleep and here I am awake and ready to take on the day. Something is wrong.

The phone in Alex's room rings. Alex looks over to it confused then picks it up.

Alex - Hello? . . .Yes I'm up. . . . Yes Jeff I'm sure . . . What the hell is that supposed to mean? Of course I'm sure that I'm sure . . . Jeff, go away.

Alex puts down the phone and shakes her head. She gets up out of bed.

Craig - (faint voice) Don't you see, everything's different!

Alex shakes her head and goes into the bathroom.

Cut to the bathroom as Alex looks at herself in the mirror.

Alex - (voice over commentary) Damn right everything's different. Everything has changed, including me. The worst part is that there's no one I can talk to. Eve is gone and even if she was here what would I tell her? 'Eve I feel like I'm changing' (mocking Eve's voice) 'That's great Alex! Embrace change, change is good!' Yeah right. I can't talk to Craig anymore. He doesn't even get it when I spill every emotion I've kept bottled up in a heated moment. Typical guy. I can't tell Jeff, the friend I accused of getting my best friend killed. Who's left? James? Eve's ex?

Alex hears a knock at the front door. Sighing while rolling her eyes, Alex goes to open it.

Cut to Alex opening door with James standing there holding a coffee and a Egg Mc Muffin.

James - Hi. Wow, you've been up demon hunting all night and you don't even look like crap this morning.

Alex - (sarcastic) And I haven't even had my morning coffee yet. First Jeff, then you. It's been like this every morning since Eve and Craig left. You'd think I couldn't get up by myself

James - You can't. Eve asked us to keep you on track. (James barges his way in)You've got demon hunting down but you still can't get into work on time.

Alex - (voice over commentary) There's no one I can trust except for myself.

Cut to the centre. Alex walks in shrugs off her jacket and throws it on the counter and heads right to the till to begin counting the cash. James walks in and gives a her a confused look.

James - Eve and Craig have been gone for a couple weeks now.

Alex - (continues counting) So?

James - The last time Eve was away you weren’t this quiet.

Alex - I'm just not interested in talking about my feelings.

James - I've never seen you like this before. Is it because Eve's gone?

Alex - (annoyed) No. Will you drop it?

James - (realization dawns on him) It's because Craig is gone. And he's with Eve.

Alex - (slams the till shut) They go off halfway around the world on this spiritual quest and I'm stuck here. Why? Because I'm "the only one strong enough to the protect the city."

James - Is that a bad thing?

Alex - YES!

James shuts his mouth stunned. He doesn’t know what to say.

Alex – (sighs and closes her eyes mentally cursing herself) I’m sorry. I . . . I’m just hurt. It’s like Eve and Craig have this club that I just don't belong in anymore. I've been there for him all our lives and now suddenly I don't understand him?

James - (nods understanding) You thought you had a connection but instead you've been left out of the loop.

Alex - (sighs feeling defeated) Yeah

Alex sits down on the bar stool feeling dejected and James sits down next to her

James – I know how you feel. When Eve and I did that mind meld and I saw her life and her memories. I thought I understood her better than anyone. I thought we had a connection but she can confide in Craig and identify with him more then she ever could with me. I’m here on the sidelines, always on the sidelines.

Alex - That doesn't make me feel any better.

James – Well, maybe we can talk to each other.

Alex - Ha!

James - Why not? Look, no one seems to trust us, so let's trust each other.

Alex - (looks at him skeptically) What brought this on?

James - I . . uh . .. I has a vision about you the other day (sees Alex roll her eyes) I saw you walking away from everyone saying you were going to the only people who could ever understand you. I don't want you to feel like that.

Alex - Yeah, well, I also don't want to feel like a pity case.

James - I keep thinking about that time we were fighting those demons when Eve went to L.A. I saw a side of you that I've never seen. A side that's a leader but also confident and gentle. I don't think people give you enough credit.

Alex - (looks uncomfortable at the compliments) Well, no one pays enough attention.

James - I want to change that. We've known each other for over a year but I barely know anything about you. You're my friend too and you can come to me with anything. I'll be there for you. (takes hold of her hands and gives it a gentle squeeze)If you'll let me.

Alex - (gives a shy smile and looks down smiling and blushing she gives James hand a small squeeze back) Yeah why not.

Alex and James give each other a smile still holding hands as Jeff bursts in to the centre.

Jeff - I got some news!!(sees Alex and James holding hands and stops short) Am I interrupting something?

Alex - (lets go of James hand quickly and stands up) Uh, no! What's up?

Jeff - (is skeptical for a moment but moves on) We got a tip on some unusual activity going down in Hell's Kitchen. I'm not talking about demons, I'm talking about some weird voodoo stuff.

Alex - Care to elaborate.

Jeff - There's been reports the past few nights of people hearing chanting and screams and seeing weird lights coming from this building. Just yesterday several people saw white robed men pile in by the dozens. They were carrying some sort of glowing ball, treating is like a relic. And this morning the same robed men have been seen taking several full grown cows into the building.

James - Cows?

Alex – (understands)For sacrifices. Your run of the mill cult.

Jeff - Besides creating a disturbance and violating zoning laws with the cattle, they're not a high priority for the force. But I think we should check it out.

Alex – Let’s not be stupid about this. If this cult is dangerous and up getting caught we could be next on their list of sacrifices. Tell me more about the men. Were their robes just plain white, did they carry any symbols?

Jeff - Yeah, the report did have something about a symbol being on the robes. Five golden rings.

James - The Olympics?

Alex - More like Olympians. (sighs) I thought we were over this with Ares. This could be a threat to Eve. Come on boys let's take a little trip.

Cut to Alex James and Jeff walking through the streets of Hell's kitchen. They walk down one of the alley ways and come up behind an old building.

Alex - This the building you said they were in?

Jeff - That's what the reports say.

Alex looks up and sees the fire escape. Alex jumps up to the first level and kicks the ladder making it slide down. She then jumps up to the next level and propels her self up to the roof of the building where she lands flawlessly. Jeff and James just shake their heads.

James - Show off

Cut to the roof top as James and Jeff struggle to get themselves on the roof. Alex walks over and grabs them by their collars and pulls them up on to the roof with out any effort at all.

James- Weren't you just saying you didn’t want to do anything stupid.

Alex - Those rings are the symbol of Olympus and the Greek gods.

James - Do you really think the Gods have anything to do with all this?

Alex - I don't know, that's why we need to check it out. If this is problem for Eve, we need to be sure. But then again this may be just a bunch of crazies willing to do stupid things for the promise of everlasting life. But that means big trouble for innocent people. Either way we've got to stop them.

Alex walks over to the roof top entrance door and pulls it off it's hinges then steps aside

Alex - After you gentlemen

Cut to inside the building. Alex James and Jeff are walking quietly along a dark hall. They come to the top of the stair case they back up a little and peak up over a balcony.

Pan down to the large hall that is lit up with torches. Men in white robes stand in a large circle around a symbol of five rings painted on the floor in blood. One man in a white robe brings a glowing orb into the circle on a pillow while another man sets up a white stone pillar in the centre as the first man sets the orb upon it.

Alex - (focused on the orb) What is that thing?

Both men retreat back to their place in the circle with heads bowed. A man in a gold robe with his hood up enters the centre of the circle and stands next to the orb.

Man - My brothers and sisters. Good morning

Circle of People - Good morning Brother Arubis.

Arubis – This new era has been long in coming but it is finally time to bring back the golden age. The age of the Gods! Ancient scriptures found with the orb in the fallen temple of Ares, told us of The One. A being who would be used as a vessel. Only this one would have the power to bring the Gods of Olympus back. We must gain favour and attention so we may receive visions of where to find such a being. We must ritually sacrifice to appease Them!

White robed men push four innocent and very scared people into the circle.

Arubis - Many thanks goes to Brother Micha for the idea of smuggling these people in by the way of cow skins. It is unfortunate we must hide like this but many people do not understand the need to bring back the Gods.

Arubis is given a sword. He brings one of the innocents before him and is about to thrust the sword into the stomach of the innocent

COMMERCIAL

Cut to the man who can not struggle against the grips of the two men holding him. He turns his head and shuts his eyes awaiting the sword to be thrust into him.

Cut to Arubis pulling the sword back as a blue sphere comes out of nowhere blasting the sword out of his hand. He screams in pain and looks up to see where the blast came from.

Arubis - What was that? Where did it come from?

Micha - From the stairwell Brother but I see no one.

Arubis - GO UP THERE AND FIND OUT!!

Cut to the balcony next to the stairwell where Alex James and Jeff have ducked behind out of sight

Jeff - (whispers urgently) They're coming up here now!

Alex - Well, I had to stop him! You guys go down there and free those people and get them out. I'll distract these guys.

James and Jeff nod just as Micha arrived at the top of the stairs. Alex kicks his legs out from under him. Then picks him up and throws him over the balcony crashing into a few more men.

Alex then jumps out flipping over the balcony. As she lands she takes out a few more men and women all of them crashing to the ground. Alex jumps up and strips the robe of one man and spins it around tight like a whip. She lashes put and hits a few of the people holding the innocents causing them to back off. She spins around and wraps the robe around the legs of one of the men and pulls back sending him falling to the ground. Like dominoes as he goes down he pushes his brother next to him and the rest go down as well.

Jeff - (sees this ) Okay let's go!

Jeff and James run down the stairs. As Arubis tries to block them from getting to the innocents Jeff punches him out of the way and James takes him by the hood of his robe and throws him into a wall.

Cut back to Alex who snaps the robe back and wraps it around a women tying her up. As Alex completes the knot Alex kicks her in the stomach sending her flying into a wall. As Alex turns around she notices the men and women, all cult members, surround her. They are leaving the innocents almost unattended.

Alex - That's right you whack jobs, focus all your attention on me.

Cut back to Jeff and James. There are still a few cult members around the captive innocents. As Jeff approaches one tries to punch him. Jeff ducks and tackles the guy around the waist and lifts him up flipping the cult member over his shoulder.

James comes up behind one cult member and taps him on the shoulder. The guy swings around and James punches him square in the face and back hands him then spins around with a roundhouse kick sending the cult member flying. Another cult member attacks James by trying to punch him. James dodges out of the way and knees the cult member in the stomach. He doubles over in pain and James takes him by the robe and throws him out of the way. James sees some of the innocents are now unattended.

James - Come on! (ushers the people out of the front building)

Cut back to Jeff who runs up a cult members front kicking him in the jaw as he flips backward. Jeff then jumps up and does a round house kick in the air kicking two cult members in the face knocking them out. Arubis screams as he runs toward Jeff. Jeff dodges the various quick punches and hits before head butting Arubis. Arubis stumbles away giving Jeff the opportunity to get the other innocents out.

Cut back to Alex surrounded by cult members. One member moves to punch her. Alex dodges the punch by going down into the splits then punching the guy in the groin. He doubles over in pain as Alex brings her legs together and kicks the guy in the face sending him flying back. She then jumps up and kicks a women in the stomach propelling herself off the women and kicking another cult member in the chest. Alex spins around and kicks three cult members in the head before kicking the feet out from all three of them.

Alex is then grabbed from behind as another cult member comes up to punch her. Alex kicks the member in the stomach then kicks him in the head, she then throws her head back hitting the other guy in the face. He loosens his grip on Alex giving her time to flip him her shoulder. Alex then throws the guy into the two cult members left standing, knocking them down. Arubis screams running over to attack Alex. She spins around and clothes lines him.

Cut to Jeff and James outside the building

Jeff - Okay. I just radioed the police they should be coming in to take these guys away. (looks around)Where's Alex?

James - She's still inside

Jeff - I'll get her out before the cops come

Jeff runs back into the building.

Cut back to Alex inside the building. She walks over to Arubis and picks him up by his robes.

Alex - Are you the big kahuna here?

Arubis groans in pain and looks a little frightened but does not answer. Alex shakes him as she lifts him off the ground in the air with one hand

Alex - ANSWER ME!

Arubis- (clearly frightened by her strength) I . . .I . . . am Arubis . . . I have been given visions from our patron gods to bring back the cosmic order and the golden age.

Alex - (shakes him more)WHO CONTACTED YOU?

Arubis - Apollo! He showed me the orb that keeps the spirits of the gods. We are to bring them back!!

Alex - (drops him) I don't know whether to believe you or think you're a total loony. I'll let the cops and the doctors figure that one out.

Jeff- (runs in to the building) Alex! You got to get out of here! In a few minutes this place will be swarming with cops and reporters.

Just then from behind Jeff gets grabbed by a cult member and has a knife held to his chest

Cult Member - FOR POSEIDON I SMITE THEE!!

Just as the cult member is about to plunge the knife into Jeff's chest Alex throws an energy ball at the cult member's hand knocking the knife right out. The cult member looks at her with shock and awe. Arubis also takes notice. Alex then sends a light blue wave over to the cult member knocking him back away from Jeff.

Alex - Jeff, get out of here now!!

Arubis - It is you!! The One who will bring the order of the gods back. The vessel!

Arubis on his knees begins bowing to her and the other cult members begin to kneel and bow. Alex looks stunned as Jeff runs up and grabs her hand and pulls her away

Jeff - Alex, we've got to get moving now!!

Arubis - We can not let her get away! She is the only one to bring back the Golden Age!!!

Jeff and Alex runs towards the door as the cult members run after them. Just as Jeff runs out the door Alex turns around and sends a dense blue wave out knocking over all the cult members. Jeff turned around just in time to see this.

Jeff - What did you do!!?

Alex - I . . I (sees the cult members struggle to get up) I didn't kill them! (hears sirens) We got to move!

Alex and Jeff run out the door.

Cut to Alex, Jeff and James in the centre around mid day. The centre is still empty because it hadn't been open that day. James finishes making a drink and walks over to Alex who is sitting down by a table while Jeff is off a little to the side talking on his cell phone.

Jeff - Yeah. Okay, thanks.(presses button on cell phone to turn it off and turns to Alex and James) Just got a background check on Arubis and it seems what he told you checked out a little. He's some sort of head priest at a small unknown temple dedicated to Apollo. The other cult members are like him, priests and priestesses dedicated to the gods of old. They are from all over, Europe, Russia and North America.

James - So that means he could have been telling the truth about receiving a vision from Apollo and that the orb does contain the essence of the gods.

Jeff - Yeah but we can't hold them for practicing their religious beliefs. They could very well get out on bail.

Alex - But they kidnapped people. They almost killed them. That's got to amount for something.

Jeff- Innocent until proven guilty. Until then they are still entitled to bail. What's important is, if they do get out they might come after you. They think you're "the chosen one!" Alex what did you do in there?

Alex - Hey! Loony tunes in there would have killed you if I hadn't have blasted him off you

Jeff – I’ve never seen you do anything like what you’ve done in there. Where did that come from?

Alex - I've been honing my abilities. I'm stronger these days.

Jeff - Well, they know you're a god so they'll probably start worshipping you now.

James - Wait, that's it!

Jeff - Hey, I was kidding!

James - I'm not. Alex, you're a god. You can tell them to stop. If they worship you, you can use your influence to make them stop hurting people.

Alex - I don't think . . .

Jeff - James has a point. You could . . .

Alex - NO! (James and Jeff looked surprised at the fear in her voice) I can't be brought into that. Please . . . Jeff just see if you can keep them from making bail.

Jeff - Yeah . . .sure. I'll try. I'll . . .um see you guys tonight.

Jeff gives Alex one last weary look as she puts her head in her hands. He then backs out of the centre. James looks over to Alex and sits down beside her.

James - What's wrong?

Alex - (still with her head in her hand) I'm changing.

James - What?

Alex - (lifts her head up an looks intently at James) I'm changing. I can feel it. I'm more powerful, I'm stronger. I feel like a God. If I get into a situation where I am treated like one I don't know if I'm strong enough to resist that kind of temptation.

James - What kind of temptation?

Alex - The kind that comes with being worshipped. I've never been . . .well, that important to anyone.

James - I think you underestimate how important you are. But I won't put you into a situation if you feel you can't handle it and neither would Jeff. We do care about what happens to you.

Alex - (takes a deep breath and lets out a long sigh) Thanks. James, could you do me another thing? Please don't tell Eve or Craig about this. They wouldn't understand, they might . . .

James - They might what?

Alex - Just don't tell them! You said I could trust you James. Don't tell them I'm getting stronger. Just for now.

James - Okay! I promise.

Alex - Thank you.

Cut to later that evening with a pan over New York city and it's night life.

Cut to Jeff and James entering the centre just as Alex walks in from the backroom in low ride jeans and a sparkly purple and blue halter top. James and Jeff's eyes nearly bulge out of their heads.

Jeff - Whoa!!

Alex - (smiles) You like?

James - Isn't that a bit inappropriate for patrol.

Alex - I'm not going patrolling tonight

Jeff – Did I hear you right?

Alex – I need to blow off some steam and have some fun. I'm going to a club and you guys are welcome to join me if you want.

Jeff and James stare at Alex with wide eyes and questioning looks

Alex - Come on! You guys are always saying we should have some fun once in a while and after this morning I want some. I'll even pay cover charge for you guys!

James - Alex is offering to pay and not hell bent on kicking demon ass. What's wrong here?

Jeff - Forget that. If Alex is in a generous mood I say don't look a gift horse in the mouth

Alex smiles and walks out of the centre with a happily surprised James and Jeff following behind

COMMERCIAL

Cut to inside a dance club. It is crowded. Lights are flashing and loud music is playing. We move through the people to the bar then pan down the length of it to find James getting a drink then half dancing half walking over to Alex and Jeff who are smiling and dancing to the music. We pan down beside Jeff's side. We hear the faint ringing of his cell phone but Jeff doesn't hear it due to the loud music.

Cut back to the trio dancing up a storm jumping up and down. Jeff taps Alex on the shoulder and motions he's going to the bathroom. Alex and James nod their heads and smile. Alex turns back to James as he picks her up and spins her around. She laughs out loud and smiles. James put her down and they bop over to the bar. The music fades so we can hear them talking.

James - Coming here was a great idea!

Alex - And between you and me I don't often get them

James - (rolls his eyes and puts his arms around Alex's waist and pulls her closer) You know sometimes you don't give yourself nearly enough credit.

Alex - (smiles feeling a bit playful) You think?

James - Yeah (moves in a bit closer) You know what I also think . . and this maybe just the alcohol talking but you're pretty hot.

Alex - (laughs a little) Yeah, that's probably the alcohol talking.

James - (leans his head it closer to Alex) Not nearly enough credit

Cut to Jeff ushering his way out of the bathroom. He finally makes his way though when he hears his phone ringing.

Jeff - (answers his phone) Yeah?. . . What!? . . . . Oh no!!

Jeff and the few other people beside him hear the loud roaring of motorcycles. They look out the doorway as the bouncer dives out of the way. Cut to Jeff's worried face as he squints at the bright lights shining in his face.

Cut back to James and Alex as James leans in.

Alex - James . . . I

Cut to James and Alex's lips barely a breath apart.

Cut to Jeff suddenly being thrown into them. Alex and James fall to the ground and several people gasp and jump out of the way. James and Alex help Jeff up

Alex - Jeff!?

Jeff - We got trouble!!

Suddenly several people go flying though the air and they land on more people knocking them down. The sound of motorcycles drowns out the music. Many people jump and/or pushed out of the way as several motorcycles skid to a stop in the middle of the dance floor. Arubis in his golden robe gets off the back of one of the motorcycles.

Jeff - Arubis and the rest of his cult got out on bail.

Alex - (looks to Jeff with annoyed look) Thank you Captain Obvious!

Arubis takes a blond girl by the hair and hold a knife to her throat. She gasps in fear and starts whimpering. Everyone gasp in surprise. Alex, Jeff and James look on in fear

Arubis - I don’t wish to hurt any of you but the will of the Gods must be done. We're only here for her (looks straight at Alex)

Everyone looks to Alex. The club goers are shocked and afraid that violence may ensue. Alex nods her head and slowly approaches. James and Jeff move to stop her but Alex shrugs them off.

Alex - Alright. Let the girl go. Leave these people alone and I'll go with you.

Jeff - Alex!

Alex walks slowly with her arms opened slightly until she reaches Arubis. He pushes the other girl to the ground and grabs Alex by the arms and spins her around and jabs a needle into her arm and she goes limp

James - NO!

Arubis – Follow us and face the wrath of the Gods!!!

Arubis throws Alex onto the back of one of the bikes and gets behind her. The motorists with some other cult members speed off out the door. Leaving a cloud of dust behind them.

Jeff and James look to each other.

James - Forget that!!

Jeff and James run out of the club in pursuit.

Cut to outside the club as James and Jeff run out the door they hear motorcycles speeding off in the distance.

James - What are we going to do?

Jeff - (looks down and sees skid marks) Follow their trail.

James - You know how to do that?

Jeff - Eve taught me how.(begins to follow the trail)

Cut to a dark room. The doors burst open and torches are automatically lit. Arubis walks in with a biker behind him carrying Alex's limp form. He sits her on a chair and chains her to it before gagging her.

Arubis – Your payment is waiting outside

The Biker gives a curt nod and leaves. Arubis strokes Alex's hair and smiles faintly as he pulls out another needle and injects the needle into her arm

Alex wakes slowly and looks around she sees that she is tied to the chair. She tries to break the chains and continues to struggle in vain. She looks up at Arubis angry

Arubis - You can't break the chains. They are made from Hephaestus’s metal and yes we have the secret for using it.

Alex's head droops slowly and jerks back up again. She closes her eyes in pain the opens them slightly to look at Arubis. He smiles

Arubis- You are wondering what I injected you with. It’s a special elixir, a secret given only to me by Apollo in order to subdue the chosen one. The visions given to me by Apollo foretold a half god being as the chosen one. Your god hood, accelerated healing and your lineage makes you the perfect candidate to be the vessel in which the Gods will return. They will feed off your life force, godhood and soul. They will become strong and burst forth from you renewed and ready to rule this earth once again!

Arubis turns around as the orb is being brought in on a lush pillow by white robed men and is set on a pillar in front of Alex. She looks at the orb glowing bright. She starts flinching. She can hear voices but she doesn’t know where they are coming from or what they are saying. More cult members come in and surround Arubis, Alex and the orb. Arubis roles up his sleeves and raises his arms. The cult members begin to hum.

Arubis - (begins to speak in ancient Greek)COME FORTH ANCIENT GODS OF THE GOLDEN AGE AND BE MADE ANEW. Emerge Gods of the golden age from your imprisonment and drink the life-force and godhood of one from your noble line.

Cut to James and Jeff right outside the building they were in earlier that morning. They see that the yellow tape indicating that the place is a crime scene, surrounding the building has been broken and it's loose ends are blowing in the wind.

Jeff - Returning to the scene of the crime. That's not even original

James - They are trying to bring back the Ancient Gods. This whole set up reeks of unoriginality.

Jeff - We better get though the way we did the last time. I don't feel good about busting through the front door.

James nods and they head into the ally.

Cut to the top of the roof where James and Jeff climb on to. Unfortunately two cult members sent to guard the roof see them. They rush over to attack. James ducks and flips one guard over his shoulders. He then turns around kicks the cult member in the face knocking him out. Cut to Jeff just as he gets on the roof top. Jeff jumps up and kicks the cult member twice in the chest. He then does a roundhouse kick turns around and kicks the cult member again effectively knocking him out. Jeff and James then run to the roof top entrance.

Cut to inside where Arubis is still chanting. The orb grows brighter but nothing happens.

Arubis - (shouting with all his might the same lines as before) COME FORTH ANCIENT GODS OF THE GOLDEN AGE AND BE MADE ANEW. Emerge Gods of the golden age from your imprisonment and drink the life-force and godhood of one from your noble line

Nothing happens. There is only silence. Alex rolls her eyes

Arubis - I don't understand. Why isn't anything happening? She is the chosen one!

Cut to James and Jeff on the stairwell. James peeks over the ducks back down.

James - Alex is tied up down there. What ever they're trying to do with that orb, its not working.

Jeff - How are we going to get down there to free her? We are seriously out numbered.

James looks over to where two ropes are tied to the banister. Jeff follows his line of sight up where the ropes hold up and old but large chandelier.

James - (looks back to Jeff) Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Jeff - You better believe it.

Cut to downstairs. Arubis is pacing back and forth.

Micka - Please brother we must finish this before something else happens

Arubis - Like what?

Suddenly James and Jeff swing down from the balcony kicking two cult members each down. They let go of the ropes and the chandelier comes crashing down. All cult members move out of the way before it crashes down on them. Alex is left unguarded. James and Jeff run over and ungag her and take the chains off.

James - How come you can't break those?

Alex - Metal of Hephaestus. It can't be broken by gods.

Jeff - We've got a distraction, we've got to go!

Alex - No, we have to destroy the orb!!

James - (trying to pull her away) Alex nothing happened! It's just a fake.

Alex - NO! It’s real!!

Alex grabs the chains and starts swinging then around. She hits a few cult members out of they way then whips the chains to wrap around Arubis. She then holds up her hand as a blue sphere appears.

Arubis - NO! YOU CAN'T!

Alex - I must!!

Alex throws the sphere at the orb smashing it. It blows up in waves of bright lights. Alex is thrown back into a wall and everyone is thrown to the ground by the blast. Arubis is thrown into the opposite wall head first.

Cut back to Alex slumped against the wall and unconscious. There is a bright light that hovers in a small sphere around her chest then fades away.

Cut to Jeff and James who get up off the floor. They look around at the cult members on the floor groaning in pain as they try to get up

Jeff - (takes out hi cell phone) I'll call the ambulance and the police. This time we're going to keep these guys in jail.

James - (looks over to Alex) Alex!!(runs over to her and checks her over) Alex! Alex wake up!!

James hears Arubis. He looks over to where the fallen priest lies. He is chuckling slightly and coughing

Arubis - (whispering)It . . . it is . . . done (head slumps to the side and eyes close as he dies)

Fade to later in Alex's loft. Alex is laying on the couch still unconscious. She wakes up suddenly in a shock. Pan out to see James sitting next to her on the couch and Jeff sitting on the coffee table.

James - (tries to calm her down) Alex, Alex it's okay. Calm down, you're alright.

Alex – Whoa! What ran over me?

James - You blew up the orb. It sent out quite a blast. It knocked you out.

Jeff - Were the gods actually in that orb?

Alex - Wha . . . No. No, of course not. You were right. It was all a hoax. That thing must have had some sort of electrical current running through it. Combined with my sphere, it blew up. What happened to the cult?

Jeff - In jail for good this time. They have a whole load of new charges piled upon them and I don't think they'll be making bail this time.

Alex - Good

James - Uh Alex. There's something else you should know. Arubis, the cult leader . . . He's dead.

Alex – What? Did I . . . Oh no. . . this is my fault!

Jeff – Alex, that was an accident.

Alex - Maybe I didn't know what would happen when I blew up that orb, but I killed someone! Yeah, he was a bad guy but he didn't deserve that!

Jeff- Arubis was unstable and dangerous. Whether that orb was real or not. He believed it and have been sacrificing people for it. I just found out, his cult is wanted in connection with heinous crimes against humanity across Europe. At best he would have been institutionalized for life, if he wasn't extradited to all the other countries that want to convict him.

Alex – That doesn’t make me feel better. (tries to sit up but feels a pain in her chest and puts her hand up and rubs slightly) Owe!

James - Are you okay? What's wrong?

Alex - No, I'm fine. I . . . I just hurt a little. I'll be fine

James - Are you sure?

Alex - Yeah, don't worry. Trust me. I'm fine.

Alex - (voice over) There's no one I can trust now except for myself.
