Open with a pan around Eve's apartment. We find her sitting in front of her Eli shrine praying. We pan over to the door where constant knocking from outside can be heard. We pan back over to Eve who looks at the door then back to her shrine

Alex - Eve! Eve open up! Come on Eve, talk to me!

Eve - (voice over commentary) How far will one man go to make someone pay for his pain? A man obsessed with revenge has clung to the realm of hell and allowed his soul to take up the body of a demon to kill my friend. He wanted me to know his pain, feel his pain because I caused it. How can I work to make the future better if the past keeps coming back to destroy it? To destroy me.

Eve - (whispers) Eli give me a sign!

Alex- That's it! I'm breaking down the door!

The door is then blasted of its hinges. Alex is standing there with her foot still in the air from kicking the door in. She walks into the apartment. Eve gets off the floor and is about to say something when Alex stops her.

Alex - No! Don't talk. Just listen.

Eve - Alex! Save it. (Eve walks past Alex and out of her apartment)

Alex - What! Now hold on a second! I didn't even get to make my big speech. I never get to make the big speeches!

Cut to Alex following Eve down the stairs into the backroom.

Alex - Eve, wait a second! You don't have to go patrolling tonight. Jeff and James are here and I'm sure we'll be able to handle it on our own

Cut the centre. Jeff and James watch Alex and Eve come in.

Alex - (calls out ahead) She's doing it again!!

James - Eve, we need to talk about what happened!

Eve - What's to talk about?

Alex - How about, who the hell is Thuvan? Why does he want to kill you? Why did he kill Craig? Where's Craig soul? Nothing that crazy ass reporter said makes sense! You were so overcome by guilt I didn't want to press you on it but I think we need to talk about these things now.

Jeff - She's right Eve. Craig's killer could still be out there. We are vulnerable right now, we need to know everything you know.

Eve - (sighs)Thuvan was a warlord. He led his people in a revolt against Rome. They revered him as a chosen warrior for the prophet Iridan.

Jeff - Okay, I know I'm no history major but I've never heard of Thuvan or Iridan

Eve - He wasn't the first or the last to resist Rome. Rome had conquered half the known world, from Egypt to Britannia. His revolt was small in comparison to the ones that made the history books. Honestly, it was like another brush fire. One that I was sent to put out.

Alex - And you didn't kill him. You just made him watch his family be killed

Eve - (ashamed) Yes. I did those things

Jeff - This guy wasn't a saint though. Whatever he did, it was bad enough to get him sent to hell.

Eve - And now he's back because he wants vengeance. Against me. That's why he killed Craig. I had his family killed, he kills my family. This is my fault.

Alex - I'm not blaming you Eve. What Thuvan did, that's on him! This is all on him.

Eve - But he did it because of me. Because of who I was and what I did. How is that not my fault?

Alex is struggling to say something positive. But Eve just shakes her head and stands up

Eve - I'm patrolling tonight. You can stay or come with me. . . either way. There's a job to do.

Eve grabs her chakram and coat and walks out of the centre. Alex looks wearily to James and Jeff before following Eve. Jeff and James grab their coats and weapons and head out. Fade to outside the centre as we watch the previous actions taking place through the window. We see the back of the head of a figure standing there watching them.

Cut to the parks of New York. Demons by the many charge and chase after humans. Cut to a cemetery demons are lifting tombstones out of the ground and crushing them. Cut to a street by a park a young woman is running out screaming followed closely by a strong yellow demon. The young woman trips and falls on her face. She turns over to see the demon looking down on her with a smirk on its face. It's about to bend down to pick her up when it is tackled back into the bushes. Eve, Jeff and James help the woman up

Cut to behind the bushes. Alex is on top of the demon. She punches him then snaps his neck. Eve, Jeff and James make their way into the bushes. Alex gets up

Alex - That's got to be the fifteenth neck I've snapped tonight.

Another demon charges at Eve. She takes out her sword and slices off its head. Eve walks off. Alex looks at the headless demon for a moment and then runs after Eve

Alex - Hey! Where are you going? (Alex is practically jogging to keep up with Eve who is walking at a fast pace) Yo! What's the deal?

Eve- Do you notice something wrong?

Alex - Huh? What?

Eve - (gestures wildly around her)All these demons! Seven poular demons in one night? I haven't dealt with those in over a year. Not only that but we've also dealt with nine devil incarnates and had five victims poisoned.

Alex - All slayed and all saved. What can I say? Lucifer's on a rampage.

Eve - Is it worth it? Look at all the sacrifices we've made, the life Jeff and James have given up to help, all this hurt and pain surrounding us now, Craig's life! How can I possibly help these people when facing such odds? How can I battle against such hate? Why am I always being pulled back?

Alex closes her eyes and pinches the bridge of her nose as Eve walks off again.

Alex - Okay I think you’re dealing with bigger issues here (looks up and sees Eve gone) Would you stop walking off!! You're acting like me! (to herself) And it's really annoying!

As Alex runs to catch up with Eve they hear a scream farther into the woods.

James - ALEX! EVE! GET OVER HERE QUICK! WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Alex and Eve reach a clearing Where Jeff and James have stopped. They stopped shocked at what they see.

Eve - In the name of Eli !

Pan up over their heads to see the clearing swarming with demons and dead bodies. And still more people screaming and trying to get away

Eve - Alex strike the ground!

Alex - What?

Eve - Just do it!

Alex hands glow with a blue light then with full force she strikes the ground and it trembles like an earth quake. The demons are just shook up enough that they let their victims go. The demons start advancing toward Eve, Alex, Jeff and James.

Eve promptly takes out her chakram and throws it toward the demons. It bounces off trees and rocks slicing off limbs and heads of demons. Alex runs over to the surviving demons and slices off their heads.

Eve jumps up and flips in the air catching her chakram upon landing and kicks a demon down. She grabs the demon by the throat.

Eve - In the name of Eli and all the powers in Heaven! I command that this evil be cast back into the pits of hell!

The demons become engulfed in a white light. Smoke and wind rise about him as he screams as he is being sucked into the ground.

Jeff and James run over to some of the demons that are still attacking people. Jeff jumps up and kicks a demon in the side backing him off a young guy.

Jeff - (to James) Get these people out of here.

James nods and proceeds to get the victims out of the area. Jeff ducks a swing by one demon and blocks the strike of another with his sword in the process slicing the arm off. Jeff then swings around chopping of the head of the other. Jeff then dives through the legs of the demon that he sliced the arm off of and comes up behind it and slices its head off.

Eve meanwhile is being surrounded by five demons. Four in front of her and one behind her advancing quickly. Alex comes up by Eve's left and tackles two demons down. Eve then proceeds to jam the sword in the ground and then swings around to kick the other demons down.

Alex - Eve! They're cycloptic demons! They have an invisible third eye in between their eyes. It's their weak spot!

Eve takes her sword from the ground and jabs it between the eyes of the demons.

The area is now cleared out of demons but still littered with dead bodies. Jeff runs up with his cell.

Jeff - I'm going to call the police and ambulance to come and get these bodies cleared and identified. You two should try to clear the demon bodies out before they get here.

Alex and Eve nod and proceed to do so.

Cut to later when they've got the last of the demon bodies cleared and they hear sirens. Jeff then ushers Alex, Eve and James away from the site.

Jeff - I made the call anonymous so we better clear out

Eve, Alex, Jeff and James continue to walk toward the cemetery when they hear another scream

Alex – Oh, it's going to be a long night!

They all run to where the scream is coming from.

Cut to interchanging of slow motion scenes of Eve sending demons back to hell, to James getting people out of the way, to Alex throwing energy balls, to Jeff using a sword to fight a demon with, back to Eve who catches her chakram

Cut back to regular motion as Alex gets thrown onto the ground. A demon runs up and she sends a stream of blue energy towards it turning it into dust.

Eve runs over to Alex helping her up just as the dawn comes

Alex - It's about time!

The demons shield their eyes from the light and run off in pain.

Alex - Damn! A few hours more of demons and I would be like those two.

Eve looks over to Jeff and James who are kneeling on the ground panting. Alex and Eve walk over to James and Jeff helping them up.

Jeff - That was intense!

Alex - It's never been this bad, not even when Lucifer put that bounty on your head.

Eve wasn't listening, her eyes shifted over to a behind Alex where a large shrub was.

Alex - (catching this) Oh you've got to be kidding (looks to Jeff and James) Get ready.

Eve, James, Jeff and Alex jump over the bush and find a demon in shadow knocking down a man. Eve throws her chakram and beheads the demon. She catches her chakram as it ricochets back to her. Alex goes over to find the young man face down. He's unconscious. Alex turns him over. Alex gasps and stumbles back

It's Craig

COMMERCIAL

Cut to Eve's apartment. It’s early in the morning. The sun is still rising. It bathes Eve’s apartment with a soft orange glow. Craig is lying on the couch still unconscious. He is wearing the suit he was buried in. Alex, James, Jeff and Eve are looking down at him

James - Are you sure he's alive?

Eve - He has a pulse

Jeff - Maybe we should take him to the hospital.

James - I don't think that's a good idea. I mean he's supposed to be dead.

Jeff - Hey! Calm down

James - There is no rational explanation for this!

Eve - (still looking at Craig intently. She smiles a little)It's a miracle. Eli has answered my prayer.

James - This is unnatural.

Alex - Hey!

James – People aren't supposed to come back from the dead!

Alex - I think it's about time we got a little something back.

Craig groans a little and they all look back to him. He opens his eyes. Realizing where he is he gets up suddenly. He looks wildly around him. Alex, Eve, Jeff and James are on their guard not knowing what to expect. Craig looks out the window of Eve's apartment then turns around slowly.

Craig stands there and looks at each of them for a moment. He takes a deep shuddering breath.

Craig - How'd I get here?

Eve -(slowly) We brought you here. You were unconscious when we found you.

Jeff - What's the last thing you remember?

Craig - (looking around his surroundings then answers slowly) Waking up as if I had been sleeping for a long time.

Craig stops looking around as he spots Alex. She is standing there stunned. He smiles. Alex breathes a sigh of relief and smiles as she launches herself into Craig's arms. He stumbles back surprised and confused but then slowly wraps his arms around Alex returning the hug.

Craig - Alex! (Let's go of Alex and looks at Eve) Eve.

Eve runs over and pulls Craig into a tight embrace. Craig looks uncomfortable at this contact but then hugs Eve back.

Alex - Eve it's him. It's really him! (Touches Craig's hand) His hands! His skin! It's warm. He's warm. He's real! He's not a zombie or anything.

Craig- (looks over to Jeff and James who are just standing there) Jeff. James. . . .(remembers something) Oh my god . . . I died!

Craig sits down again. He’s breathing heavily

Jeff – Uh, I think he’s hyperventilating!

Eve – (kneels down beside him) Breathe Craig, just breathe! It’s going to be okay

Alex – You just need a little time. You'll be fine

Craig – Alex, I’m supposed to be dead.(looks at his hands) How am I back? How is this possible?

Alex - (smiles, overjoyed) Who cares?

Jeff - I think it's a question that needs to be asked?

Craig – (shakes his head) I can’t remember. I don't know

Cut to the centre. Jeff and James are the first ones to walk in from the backroom, Alex and Eve walk in holding Craig's hands. Craig looks around bewildered.

Craig - I remember this place (he looks at Alex) You'd spot for me while I lifted weights.

Alex - Yes!

Craig - (looks at Eve then points to James) Eve and you would kiss in the backroom

James - That's enough remembering

Craig - I think I need to sit down.

Alex leads him to a table and he sits down. Eve sits across from his and holds his hand. He gets that uncomfortable look on his face again. Then takes his hands away from hers.

Craig - I don't understand any of this, but I feel renewed. I think I'm back for a reason. A great purpose.

Eve - This is surely a miracle of Eli. There are so many things I want to say to you.

James – Yeah, I have a few questions myself

Alex - Can't we at least let him settle in first. Craig we had to remove your things from your apartment. We couldn't pay the rent, but I have all your stuff back at my place. You can come back with me if you'd like

Craig - (smiles a little) Okay

Eve - We'll talk more later. There is a lot we need to talk about

Craig - (looks at Eve intensely) I agree

Alex helps Craig up but as he stands he removes Alex's arms from his waist and looks at her

Craig - I can walk you know.

As he heads to the door Alex smiles and practically skips out throwing a thumbs up to Eve. She just smiles and waves

Jeff - Why does this feel wrong?

James - Probably because he supposed to be dead.

Eve - (sighs) But he's back. By the divine will of Eli, he's back. It's a miracle. Why can't you be happy?

Jeff - Because things don't work that way. At least they shouldn't

Eve - (shakes her head) I'm not going to listen to this! After all the pain and suffering we've gone through, we've finally got something back. Craig's back! I'm not being punished anymore. (walks toward the back room leaving James and Jeff to look at each other with frustrated looks)

Cut to Alex loft. Alex opens the door and walks in with Craig behind her.

Craig - Things are becoming more familiar

Alex turns around smiles and hugs him. Craig smiles as he puts his arms around her.

Craig - I like this.

Tears begin to form in Alex's eyes and she pushes away and wipes her eyes

Craig - (points at her) That's not quite as familiar but it's nice to see your softer side.

Alex - I did that a lot of that after you . . . well let's forget about that because you're not.

Craig brings a hand up to cup Alex's cheek and gazes into her eyes.

Craig - No I'm not. But death does bring new perspective on things. There are things that I want to change

Alex - (looks at Craig with longing but then she realizes what she is doing and suddenly backs away from him) Do you need to shower or anything? You can do that you know. I ‘ll go get your clothes from the storage

She begins to walk off but Craig grabs her hand

Craig - Alex. I want to talk.

Craig leads Alex to the couch where she sits down beside him looking uncomfortable

Craig – Alex, every moment I am awake I remember more and more what happened before. When that demon was holding me there in his grip I knew I was going to die and there were so many things I wanted to tell you.

Alex - Well it's okay now. You're back and you've got time to say all you wanted . . .

Craig - Alex listen to me! I don’t want to ever let unspoken words go between us again. You are the only one I could ever trust. I need you to trust me now. Now, more then ever.

Alex- What are you talking about?

Craig - In death all things are revealed. In my last moments I saw all the mistakes I made and now that I'm back I know what I have to do.

Alex - I don't understand

Craig – Bringing Eve here was a mistake. That demon knew Eve was Livia. This was brought upon me because I brought her here. I need to undo the wrong that I’ve committed.

Alex - What are you suggesting? That everything that we've been through has been wrong, has been for nothing?

Craig - We've sacrificed too much by bringing Eve here. We've lost too much (takes her hand) including precious time we could have spent together. I don't want to fight anymore, I don't want to demon hunt anymore. I want my life back, a life with you.

Alex - (looks at Craig with a small smile but shakes her head remembering what he is saying) But you can't send Eve back. She’s meant to be here, you’ve said so yourself.

Craig – Was I meant to die?

Alex - But you're back . . .

Craig - To fix things. To change things!

Alex - (stands up quickly) You know Craig you should really take that shower. I'll . . . Uh . . . get you some clothes and leave them in the guest room before I go the centre. Okay? Great!

Alex rushes out the door of her loft.

Cut to the centre, later that day.

Eve and James are at the juice bar making smoothies and handing them to a waitress. Alex rushes in past them looking very uncomfortable and disturbed. She heads into the backroom. Eve and James seeing this run into the backroom after her.

Cut to the backroom where Alex is pacing

Eve - Alex ?

Alex - (stops and looks at Eve with a slightly scared look) Hi. Where's Jeff?

Eve - He went back to his apartment. How's Craig?

Alex - (talking hurried and rushed) Craig? Craig's fine. Better then fine. Alive. He's handling that whole death thing really well. Yep, he's got everything in perspective and under control.

James - (noticing her flustered manner) Are you okay?

Alex - Perfect! Craig's alive! Why wouldn't I be? (Notices Eve and James looking at her in a weird manner) Got to go!

Alex rushes past Eve and James and goes down to the gym level to help someone with their lifting weights

James - Something is definitely up

Eve - Craig must be in bad shape!

James - Yeah, I'm sure coming back from the dead isn't easy.

Eve- Don't start! I better go see how Craig is settling in. He'll need someone to talk to

James - (grabs her arm stopping her) I don't think you should.

Eve - Why can't you be happy about this? Why can't you take this for what it is?

James - I am which is why I am finding everything a little bit weird. We don't know that's really Craig. He could be possessed, he could a demon, he could . . .

Eve - STOP! Just stop.

James - It's all too easy.

Eve - Finally! Something is easy for once. I'm tired of everything being so hard, I'm tired of suffering.

Eve walks out of the backroom back to the bar to see Craig walking in. He's changed into simple jeans and a t shirt. She sees him and runs over to him smiling and leaping into his arms. He stumbles back.

Eve - What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be resting?

Craig - I've been dead. I've had enough rest

Eve - How are you dealing with everything?

Craig - Fine! I want to get back into the swing of things ASAP.

Eve - Are you sure of that? Maybe we should talk about why you're back? Death is . . . well it’s not easy to get over.

Craig sees James over her shoulder looking at them with intensity

Craig - Can we talk about this elsewhere?

Eve - Yeah, sure, let's go upstairs.

Eve turns around and looks at James as she and Craig walk past him to go upstairs to her apartment. James then looks over to Alex who was also watching the scene.

Cut to upstairs in Eve's apartment. Eve walks in and goes to sits on the couch. Craig walks in and notices the door not on its hinges but laying on the wall next to the doorway. He looks at Eve questioningly.

Eve - Uh yeah. Alex got a little . . .well, you know Alex.

Craig nods not really understanding and walks slowly over to Eve's Eli shrine. He looks at it intensely

Eve - (joking voice) Don't tell me you've never seen my Eli shrine before.

Craig picks up the small statuette and starts tossing it up and down in his hand

Craig - Eli, Eli, Eli.

Eve runs over nervous and takes it from his hands she settles it back down on the small table.

Eve - Please don't do that.

Craig - I just don't have a lot of respect for him right now.

Eve - What are you talking about?

Craig - Why did he let me die Eve?

COMMERCIAL

Eve - Craig, Eli didn't . . .

Craig - Was I not important enough? Did my life mean so little?

Eve - You are important Craig! You mean so much to me.

Craig - Every moment I'm awake I remember more of my life before. When that demon held me by the neck all I kept thinking was how this is wrong. I saw my life pass before my eyes. I've made many mistakes. I see that now

Eve - Craig, I . . .

Craig - I feel like I have just woken up from a bad dream.

Eve - What do you remember about that? . . . (starts thinking about things) How did you get out of the . ..

Craig - (getting angry) Does it matter? I woke up. I was in a tomb

Eve - A tomb? But we buried you.

Craig - (outburst)Well, I woke up in a tomb!

Eve - (starts thinking about what James said) Craig something is not right here. Do you think that someone or something might have moved your coffin?

Craig - I don't care about that right now! I am back and I'm back for a reason. My life that was stolen and my family was taken away. I will make them pay!

Eve - Craig don't talk like that! Vengeance is what took you away. It almost made me forget everything you've taught me about my destiny and making a better future.

Craig - (turns away from her) What would you have me do Eve?

Eve - (puts a hand on his shoulder) Forgive

Craig - (smiles in a vindictive way then turns around) You're right. I forgive you Eve

Eve - (shocked) What!?

Craig - That demon was after you wasn't he? He knew you were Livia, he obviously wanted you dead. That's why I got killed.

Eve - I know but . . . I . . .

Craig - I know you feel guilty and you should. It was your actions as Livia that got us in that mess but . . . I forgive you. (Walks out of Eve's apartment leaving a very stunned Eve)

Cut to downstairs Craig walks out of the backroom and Alex comes running up to him.

Alex - Craig, what are you doing here?

Craig - Calm down Alex. I was just talking to Eve.

Alex - Why? What did you say to her?

Craig - I just forgave her

Alex - What do you mean forgave her?

Craig - Alex, Alex. Shhhhh. Don't make such a fuss. See you later.

Craig walks out of the centre past James who follows him out.

Cut to outside the centre.

James - Hey Craig.

Craig turns around to look at James a small look of disgust on his face.

Craig - Yeah?

James - I hope you didn't say anything to hurt Eve.

Craig - What I said to Eve is none of your business (turns away)

James - Eve's my girlfriend, I have a right to know!(grabs Craig's arm)

Cut to a close up of James' face as he receives a vision

*Vision*

Cut to a man with dark curly hair rides atop a horse straight towards Livia. He has a black X burned into his forehead

Cut to a demon snapping Craig's neck

Cut to Craig's body laying on a alter surface in a light in a dark room having demons putting what looks like to be ointments on his body and painting an X on his forehead.

Cut to a close up on Craig's face as his eyes shoot open and they're yellow.

* End Vision*

James pulls his hand away like it had been burned as Craig turns around

Craig - (not noticing James had a vision)I think I know "Eve" better than you.

Craig then walks away from the centre leaving James to process what just happened. He looks back to Craig’s retreating form then runs into the centre.

Cut to Eve apartment. Alex and Eve are there having an argument

Eve - Craig always told me we make our own choices in life. He said you and him chose to fight demons. You would give up your lives to save others just as I would. You even said that you knew the risks and that you stood by your choices! Why would he blame me?

Alex - NEWS FLASH EVE! HE DIED!!!!! He is trying to deal with that!

Eve - (still in shock, sits down shaking her head not understanding anything) You almost died once. Craig didn't place blame then. Craig is not that kind of person. He said just now that he awoke in a tomb. But we buried him. What if he has been corrupted by evil?

James bursts into the apartment

James - If I could step in here for a moment while were on the subject of Craig. I think we have a problem

Alex - Oh great. Another one. Why are you all so intent on ruining a good thing? What is it James? Do you think Craig has been (patronizing tone) "corrupted" too?

Eve - Alex!

James - Shut up both of you!! I don't think Craig is Craig at all!!

Alex -(slaps James) How dare you? You leave him alone!(looks to Eve) Both of you. Craig was right. We can't trust you any of you

Alex storms out of the apartment. Eve just covers her mouth with her hand and begins to cry. James goes over to her and takes her into his arms.

Eve - I wanted it to be true. I wanted him to be alive but . . . but what if he's . . . . Craig being alive meant that evil and hate didn't win . . .but it looks like it’s won anyway. This is the price I have to pay. I've lost Craig and now I've lost Alex . . . SHE IS SO STUBBORN!!(storms into her bedroom)

James - Wait I had . . .

Eve slams her door

James - A vision . . . crap!

James sighs and then runs out Eve's apartment.

Cut to evening. The sun is setting and James walks though the halls of an apartment building. He stops at a door and knocks on it. Cut to the inside of the apartment. Jeff walks out of a room and answers the door. He finds James

Jeff - Jim. Yo what's up?

James - We've got a big problem

Jeff - Demonic no doubt. Where's Eve and Alex? (James looks apprehensive and Jeff sighs) What happened?

James - I don't know. Alex ran off because Eve and I have are doubts about Craig and his resurrection.

Jeff - Yeah, the whole thing is a head trip but I thought Eve was happy about him being back

James - Craig blames her for his death.

Jeff - Craig blamed Eve? Something is definitely wrong.

James - It gets worse. I got a vision. I saw something weird. I saw Craig's neck being snapped by a demon but I also saw him on some type of alter. Demons were surrounding him putting a black X on his forehead

Jeff - WHAT!!

James - Is that significant?

Jeff - The demon that killed Craig had a black X on his forehead. But the demon was just a host for Thuvan. Thuvan used the demon body to kill Craig.

James - You said Craig's killer might still be out there. Do you think maybe somehow this Thuvan guy might be working through Craig?

Jeff - I'm not sure. We have to talk to Eve and Alex

James - I think Eve already suspects something.

Jeff - Problem is getting through to Alex. Let's find her.

Cut to outside Jeff's apartment. Craig is standing by the door listening in.

Cut to Alex's loft later in the evening. Alex walks in

Alex - Craig? (Sees a note of the kitchen counter. She walks over picks it up and reads it) Oh no! Craig! Why?!

Alex runs over to the phone but she stops for moment thinking about what she should say and then dials. We hear ringing but after three rings there is only a beep

Cut to Eve's apartment. Eve is standing by the phone listening to the answering machine as it answers

Alex - (voice) Uh . . . Eve, I know we are really not on good terms right now but I don't know where else to turn. Craig left. He's vulnerable right now. We've got to find him before he gets hurt. No one can track like you, you're the best person to find him. Look, I know how you feel about this but obviously Craig is not himself and he needs our help.

Pan up to Eve's face she has a worried look. She grabs her coat and heads out the door.

Cut to outside Jeff's apartment building. Jeff and James run out the doors and round the corner bumping right into Craig.

Craig - Jeff! And James! What a surprise! I was just coming to get you.

Jeff - (looks apprehensive) Really? Why?

Craig - I was planning on doing some patrolling. I didn't really feel I should go alone. Alex was out and Eve was kind of upset when I last talked to her

James - (mumbling) I wonder why

Craig - (noticing this decides to ignore it and move on) And I've heard you two took up arms when I left, so why don't you join me now.

Jeff - (Is apprehensive but forms a plan in his mind) Alright sure. Why don't we head over to the centre first?

Craig - Wonderful. Follow me, I know a short cut.

Craig starts walking through to the other side of the street though a wooded area. Jeff takes out his gun and nods to James. James nods back and they follow Craig cautiously

COMMERCIAL

Cut to a street by a wooded area. Alex and Eve meet up.

Alex - Hey. Thanks for coming

Eve – You’re right. Craig is vulnerable and he could be in danger. I thought if we found him, all of us could sit down and talk.

Alex - Before we get started, I wanted to say I'm sorry. I'm sorry about insinuating that Craig was right for blaming you for his death. None of this is your fault. That psycho Thuvan did this because hate poisoned his soul.

Eve - I thought Craig being alive was my redemption. I thought I could truly continue on with my mission without fear of the past, wondering whether it was coming to haunt me again. Ever since Craig died and I found out about Thuvan I've wondered if our mission was worth all the pain.

Alex – That’s life Eve. There is going to be pain but that’s what makes you appreciate the good moments when they come. It’s part of the balance.

Eve - I was hoping things could go back to the way they used to but it just seems like it's so much worse.

Alex - He died Eve. Then he came back. It's probably messed Craig up but we can work through this! We’re a team! We're family

Eve - (nods) You're right. Things just don't get better over night. Life doesn't work that way.

Alex – (thinking about some things) Um, Eve, Craig was talking about you and I should tell you. . .

Craig(voice) - EVE!!! ALEX!!!

Alex and Eve whip around to see Craig running toward them looking scared out of his mind. He runs right into Alex and Eve who hold him by the arms stopping him.

Craig (out of breath) – They’re after me! They’re trying to kill me!

Alex - Who?!

Jeff and James come running out of an alley way. They are bruised and a little bloody. James is holding a sword now

Jeff - (has his gun pointed at Craig as he walks toward them with James behind him) Alex, Eve, back away from Craig. He's not who is says he is

Craig - (points to them) They're trying to kill me. We were going to stop by the centre to pick you up for patrolling then Jeff just started firing at the back of my head.

Jeff - That's a lie. You attacked us first

James - He ambushed us with demons. We were able to get away!

Craig - They're lying!

Eve – Jeff, put the gun down!

Jeff - I can't do that Eve. I don't know who this is but it is not Craig

Alex - Jeff, don't!

Jeff - Tell them what you saw James.

James - I had a vision. A vision of Craig being taken over by . . .

Craig - NO! (Runs over to Jeff and knocks the gun out of his hand)

Craig - Eve, Alex run! They're going to hurt you!!

Alex and Eve just run without thinking. Craig runs behind them. James and Jeff try to catch up.

Cut to behind a building where Alex, Eve and Craig dodge behind

Alex - What the hell is going on??

Craig - They were going to kill me. They think I should be dead.

Alex - Hold on Hold on! What is going on here? I thought you didn't want to patrol anymore! And why is Jeff shooting at you? Jeff wouldn't do that

Craig - Then he must be possessed

Eve - What about James? What was he saying about his vision?

Craig - You don't believe me! I just saved your life back there! I've always been beside both of you for everything you've been through! But when I ask for support, you abandon me!

Alex - (shakes her head) Eve, you grab hold of Jeff or James and use your powers. If they’re possessed by something demonic you can banish them back to hell.

Craig - And if they're not? They still want me dead!

Eve - Then we work through it. We can get through this!

Eve looks over to Alex and she smiles and nods. Eve peeks out around the corner and sees James and Jeff running up the street. Jeff still has a hold of his gun. Eve jumps out and flips over to James and grabs a hold of his head. Jeff is ready to shoot.

Eve - IN THE NAME OF ELI AND ALL THE POWERS IN HEAVEN I COMMAND THIS EVIL PRESENCE TO BE BANISHED

Eve then gasps and closes her eyes and she receives James' vision

*Vision*

Cut to a demon snapping Craig's neck

Cut to Craig's body laying on a alter surface in a light in a dark room having demons putting what looks like to be ointments on his body

Cut to a close up on Craig's face as his eyes shoot open and they're yellow.

* End Vision*

Eve opens her eyes. Her breath is shaky. She looks over to Jeff who lowers his gun.

Eve - You're not possessed (looks behind her to Alex and Craig). He is.

Eve grabs a knife out of her boot and runs over to Craig and Alex with it raised in the air. Alex grabs Eve and stops her from charging at Craig

Alex - EVE NO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING! (Kicks the knife out of Eve's hand)

Eve - Craig's the one who is possessed. I saw it in James vision. It all makes sense. He's been trying to tear us apart.

Alex - (continues to hold Eve back) You're crazy! I won't let you hurt him!!

Eve - ALEX!!

As Alex struggles to hold Eve back. Craig picks up the knife and charges toward Alex and Eve. Just then Jeff shoots. Alex and Eve startled by the shot turn around to see Craig lying on the ground motionless. Eve is stunned

Alex - NO!! JEFF, WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!

Alex runs over to Craig and turns him over. He's still breathing and Alex sees the bullet hole in the chest

Alex - There's no blood

Craig groans and gets up. Alex stumbles back away from Craig.

Alex - What are you?

Craig starts laughing

Eve jumps up and flips over Alex and Craig and lands behind him. She grabs Craig by the head and Craig starts laughing

Craig - I remember this position. Come on Livia. Do it!

Eve lets Craig go stunned. Craig gets up off the ground laughing.

Eve - WHO ARE YOU?

Jeff - He's Thuvan

Alex - What?

James - I had a vision. I saw the demon killing Craig. It had a black X on its forehead. I saw the same black X being put on Craig's forehead in a tomb with demons. Thuvan the Warlord had an X on his forehead too, right?

Craig - I have to admit I forgot to factor in your visions. But it is true. I am Thuvan. What can I say? I needed a body, preferably a human body to enact my revenge on Livia

Alex - WHY CRAIG'S???

Craig - Who better then someone she loves.(mocking Eve from earlier) Who means so much to her. Part of my plan was to break you apart, get you to stop hunting, get you to not care anymore. Then souls could be taken by Lucifer’s demons easily, so his realm can spread on to earth as he planned. He got a little impatient and my plans to reveal myself to you had to be moved up.

Eve - Well, you've failed.

Craig - Has I?(laughs)I'm getting exactly what I want. Lucifer's plans don't concern me anymore

Alex picks up the knife that had once again been dropped to the ground and she silently comes up behind Craig. He turns around swiftly a catches her arm.

Craig - Silly girl. Are you really going to kill your best friend?

Alex - You are not him!

Craig - I own his soul and I control his body. I will damn him to the depths of hell. This is my true revenge. This body is dead, only my essence can keep it alive and you can't kill an essence. (Laughs as Alex tugs her arm away) My revenge is just beginning. Craig's death hurt you but I am going to enjoy watching you suffer slowly as I damn Craig's soul.

Eve - In the name of Eli and all the powers in heaven! I command this evil presence to be cast out!!

A blue white light emits from Eve's hands and engulfs Craig. It just fades around him.

Craig - My soul had melded with Craig's. I'm a part of him now and as pure as the driven snow. For now. And when I do do something bad, Craig's soul will be damned too and then you'll have to send both of us to Hell. If you can (Sees Eve shaking her head) Hurts doesn't it? To watch the people you love suffer as you suffer.

Craig turns around to see James and Jeff standing there dumbfounded and Alex has tears streaming down her face the knife still in her hand. He walks over to Alex and wipes a tear away before she jerks her head back not wanting to be touched by him. He licks the tear off his finger.

Craig - Now look what you did. You made her cry.

Craig walks past Alex, James and Jeff who has lowered his gun. Craig begins laughing as he walks into the distance his laughter echoing behind him

Fade to the centre that night. Jeff and James walk in single file. Alex walks in as if in a trance and Eve walks in behind her. The mood is somber. Eve doesn’t say anything. She walks past Alex James and Jeff. She stops at the end of the juice bar. Something sparks in Eve’s eyes. She is breathing heavily. Alex sees this and seems to know what Eve is thinking.

Alex – Eve, don't do this to yourself. This isn't your fault!

Eve slams her hand down on the counter putting a hole in it. She startles Alex, Jeff and James.

Eve -IT'S NOT MY FAULT!! Thuvan chose this hell, this damnation! But I will not let Craig be dragged down with him. I know what I have to do.
