Open with a pan around the centre during the afternoon. Craig and Jeff aren't there but we see Eve in the midst of a group of children laughing then we pan over to Morgan where she's spotting a man while he's weight lifting. We then pan over to the juice bar where James is. Alex comes out of the backroom with a box full of oranges. She plops them down on the counter

Alex - How's she doing?

James - Morgan? Good. She hasn't sworn vengeance on any man today, not even once.

Alex - It's an improvement

James - Looks like Eve was right. All Morgan needed was a chance to . . .

Alex - (interrupts not really listening)Yeah Yeah Yeah, (looks around at all the boxes of fruit) Lemons! I forgot the lemons

Alex goes into the backroom. James thinks for a minute then follows her in.

Cut to the backroom. Alex is looking around for the box of lemons. James walks in

James - Alex, can we talk?

Alex - (looks up confused but then shrugs and goes back to looking for the box.) What's on your mind?

James - The kiss we almost shared.

Alex - (stops what she’s doing. She turns around slowly to look at James) What's to talk about? We almost kissed . . . we didn't. End of story.

James – I may have been drunk but that didn't mean I didn't want to and you didn't exactly stop me. So I'm thinking you might have wanted it too.

Alex - (sighs) I just got caught up in the moment. You're my friend James but I don’t think you and I are exactly "couple" material.

James - (let's out a sigh of relief) That's good. I actually feel that same way. I guess I just wanted to clear the air, you know to see if things were weird or anything. So we’re cool?

Alex – (smiles and nods) Yeah. (looks around past James trying to see if anyone is around or listening in) Can I tell you something?

James -(nods)Yeah, anything.

Alex - Craig and I are . . . We're sort of . . . have something going on.

James - When did this happen!!?

Alex - (uneasy) The night they got back from their travels.

James - We all left the centre after Eve offered Morgan a place to crash. Craig and you went to your loft to talk!

Alex - We were supposed to talk . . . we did more than that.

James - TMI! (wide eyed) You didn't waste anytime did you?

Alex - (blushes) That's kind of the point. Look, I don't want to jinx it or anything but . . . It's really good. We haven't told anyone yet and I would appreciate if you didn't either. Just until Craig and I have figured it out.

James - (smiles) You look happier then I've seen you in a long time. I won't say anything

Alex smiles just as she looks past James.

Alex – Ah ha! Lemons

Alex picks up the box and walks out of the backroom. James is about to follow but as he grabs a box his eyes roll up to the back of his head. Then his eyes snap forward as he gasps and falls to the ground, the boxes falling on top of him. He begins rolling around the ground biting his lip trying not to scream in pain. Alex runs back in at the sound and throws the boxes off James.

Alex - (kneels down next to him and tries to comfort him but his writhing around too much) James! James what's wrong?!

James let's out one last scream as Morgan and Eve run in to the backroom. Eve is immediately at James side. James lets out a gasp and his head falls into Eve's lap.

Eve- James? What happened?

James - (surprised and frightened) My power to have visions. It's gone!!

Cut to a woman in a hospitable screaming. She is laying on a bed about to give birth. A man who looks like Virgil is at her side holding on to her hand encouraging her to just breath.

Doctor - Okay. This baby just doesn't want to come out. We are going to have to do a C-section

*flash*

We see a quick flash of a baby coming out of the stomach crying and a flash of the mother smiling and crying at the same time.

*flash*

The doctor comes over with the baby wrapped in a blanket and gives it to the mother who is smiling proudly. Jimmy looks over at the baby sleeping peacefully.

Doctor - The C-section was a success. You have a healthy baby boy. The surgery was complicated but your son made it through and there is no brain damage. Both of you will make a full recovery.

Jimmy - Kate . . . a son. We have a son!

Kate - And he's a little miracle to survive so much. James . . . that's what we'll call him. He's going to be special Jimmy. I just know it. I can feel it. He's going to be a gifted child. A visionary

PRESENT TIME:

Cut to James pacing around frantically in the Eve's apartment. Alex and Craig are sitting on the couch while Jeff is on his cell phone. Morgan is on a stool next to the kitchenette while Eve is chasing James all around the living room trying to calm him down.

James - I've lost them! How could I lose them! HOW?

Eve - Sit down and try to calm your self.

James sits down on the couch between Craig and Alex. He looks at both of them and gets up and starts pacing again.

James - I can't take this! I feel so . . . so empty. I . .. I can't function

Morgan - Oh come on. It's not like having those visions defined who you are.

James - THEY ARE APART OF ME! HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF SOMEONE RIPPED YOUR ARM OFF!!

Morgan -(backs away a little scared of his reaction)Sorry

Eve - (puts a soothing hand on his arm) I understand James. We know you're upset but getting angry isn't helping you

James - You have no idea what this feels like! Why would this happen? Why would they be taken away now?!

Jeff - Natalie doesn’t know either. She says the expanse is clouded.

Morgan - Huh?

Jeff - Long story. Natalie is already on her way over. She's cleared her appointments for the rest of the day.

Craig - I just don't get how Hestia was able to grant visionary powers. I thought Apollo was the God of Prophesy

Alex - You've been waiting for an opportunity to unleash some of this stuff from this class you've been teaching haven't you?

Craig - I think it's a question that might be worth looking into. If Apollo gave Hestia his blessing to grant these powers, he might be the one who's taken them away.

Eve - We don't know what may have caused this but we need to find out.

Morgan - If you don't mind me asking cause I'm a bit out of the loop here, how did all this happen?

Alex - You understand re incarnation right? Well James here is the re incarnation of Virgil. The poet Virgil of the Aenied.

Morgan - The who of the what?

Eve - Virgil was a poet from my time. I knew him personally. But before he was known as the poet he was a farm boy who had many adventures. One in which he saved a young Hestian Virgin who later became a Priestess. She fell in love and prayed to Hestia to reward him. Hestia rewarded Virgil with a power of visions, destined to see danger and be a protector of all Hestian Virgins.

Voice - Until Hestia found out about the Priestess's converting the other virgins to pray for him to come back so they may bear children for him.

Everyone looks toward the door where Natalie stands. She walks in and over to James and puts a comforting hand on his shoulder.

Natalie - The power of prophesy and premonitions came from a higher power than Hestia and she could not reverse it, however she changed Virgil's fate slightly. His visions would only come when he would meet a figure of the distant past. After that, she banished the priestess and those who followed her from the Hestian order and that Priestess started a new order based on her infatuation for Virgil. The relic, a vile filled with his blood was passed down to her ancestors.

James - (sighs) Priestess Edith and her followers.

Morgan - That's kinda gross

Natalie - (to James) How are you feeling?

James - Empty

Natalie pulls out a vile and pours a blue liquid into a glass of water.

Natalie - Take this. It will put you into a dream state. Your sub conscious will sort this out.

James nods and drinks the water and then moves into Eve’s room settled down on her bed and closes his eyes. Before he drifts off he sees Eve leaning against the doorframe looking on with concern. Natalie presses her hands lightly against the sides of James's head as he drifts off to sleep. Natalie closes her eyes. She winces in pain and jumps back from the bed letting go of James head as if she's been burned. She walks out of Eve's room and Eve closes the door behind her.

Eve - What is it? What's wrong?

Natalie - It's a mess in there. His power has been ripped from his mind. He's in complete chaos. He could very well go crazy.

Morgan - But I've seen the Amazon shamanesses who go through initiation in my camp. They have to go into seclusion. With their new powers of visions their minds can't process the new information, some do go crazy. Why is James the opposite?

Natalie - Those who are not meant to have this power can go crazy. James was meant to have these visions from the day he was born. It's a vital part of him. Imagine someone ripping off a limb and being just left to bleed. He's in pain. This is killing him.

Eve - (panicked) What do we do?

Natalie - I don't know. It's not like there's some mystical band-aid out there. The only way to help him is to give him back his power

Alex - We can go to Priestess Edith. Maybe she'll do some weird voodoo thing and help bring back his visions.

Natalie - Talking to Priestess Edith may be our best bet right now but we are running short on time. We might have to try something more drastic. . . and dangerous.

Eve - Mind Search?

Natalie - (nods) To figure out why he lost his visions, maybe even find a way to bring them back.

Eve – (nods) Craig, Alex, you go to Priestess Edith and convince them to help James.

Alex - What about the centre?

Morgan - I'll look after things downstairs

Eve – Jeff, help Morgan. Natalie and I will stay here with James and keep a very close eye on things. Craig, if you fail with priestess Edith call me. Natalie and I will perform the mind search then.

Eve walks over to her bedroom door and opens it. She looks over James in a restless sleep.

Eve - Don't worry James. We're all here for you. You're going to come out of this alive. I'll see to it personally if I have to.

Cut to outside Eve's apartment. A young blue-eyed blond haired man with a blond goatee is standing very still and quiet on the stairwell. He curses silently and makes his way quietly back down the stairwell and out of the backroom.

COMMERCIAL

Cut to Alex and Craig. They walk along the sidewalk until they get to a brick building. They look down to the basement windows where they know the temple of Edith's cult is. Alex is about to go in when Craig holds her back.

Craig - You're really concerned for him aren’t you?

Alex - He's my friend too you know

Craig - I know, I know. I just didn't expect you to be so passionate about it. You two were never really that close

Alex - Things change. He was there when you weren't . . .(stops short when she see Craig look down) Sorry. That was insensitive. I just meant he was around when I really needed someone to talk to and you were in India

Craig - I'm glad you can trust him (takes her hand) But you can trust me too. You have before and I don't want that to change especially now that we're . . . closer. If we're going to do this there has to be no secrets.

Alex - (nods with a strained smile) No secrets! Got it.

Craig smiles and gives Alex a soft kiss on the lips that she accepts. When he pulls away he looks back to the building

Craig - Let's do this

Cut to a dark hallway lit with torches. Alex and Craig reach the main entrance to the cult’s main hall but two large and well-built women block their way.

Alex - Big Bertha one and two. Do you mind stepping aside?

Woman 1 - Men and those not of the order shall not pass.

Alex - Too bad.

Alex pushes both women out of the way with little to no effort at all and they both go head first into the wall knocking themselves out. Craig looks to Alex shocked.

Craig – So we're not going with diplomacy then?

Alex - I'm leaving that to you.

Alex and Craig enter the main chamber they see many young blond women each sitting in a circle of candles. Priestess Edith is on an alter and her back is turned. She knows they are there

Edith - So the visionary has lost his title because he's lost his visions. That would not have happened if he had stayed with us.

Craig - We've come to ask for your help. He is the reincarnation of the one who saved your ancestor. With out him the way you express your devotion would not be possible. If you can bring back these visions with some spell or prayer . . .

Edith - If it was Hestia that has taken away his power then Hestia must feel he is no longer worthy

Alex - (steps forward and cracks her knuckles looking threatening) Well you better find a way to make him worthy again or I'm going to bust some blond heads.

Cut to upstairs in Eve's apartment. She leans against the doorframe of her bedroom looking at James. Natalie comes up next to her and hands her a bottle of water.

Natalie - Want to come sit down?

Eve nods and walks over to the couch to sits down. From her spot she continues to look over to James. Natalie looks at her with a knowing smile

Natalie - I know you care but you still got it bad for him.

Eve - Am I that obvious?

Natalie - Well I am psychic but your feelings are clearly evident. He still cares for you too and I mean really cares.

Eve - But there's this thing going on with Alex . . .

Natalie - Eve, trust me, in that area there is nothing to worry about.

Just then James wakes up with a start. Eve and Natalie rush into the room.

Eve - James!!

James leaps off the bed and looks around wildly. He sees Natalie and Eve and makes a mad dash to leap out the window.

James - GET AWAY FROM ME!!

Eve and Natalie pull him away from the window. He shakes out of their grasp and runs out of the bedroom. He runs around wildly knocking things over and grunting.

James - I need them! I can't find them!! WHERE ARE THEY??

Eve - James! What?

James - MY VISIONS! I NEED THEM! I NEED THEM!! I CAN'T I CAN'T!!!(break down crying) I . . . .I . . .

Eve - (puts a hand on his arms and pulls him up trying to get him back to bed) James please calm down.

James - (shakes her off and pushes her in to the wall) I CAN'T! I FEEL LIKE I CAN'T FUNCTION!

James leaps over to Eve and begins to choke her. Natalie comes up behind James and pinches between his neck and shoulder causing him to fall unconscious. Eve's hands go to her neck as she coughs slightly looking at Natalie confused.

Natalie - Defense 101 Eve. It always helps to learn new tricks. Come on help me get him to on to the bed

Cut to Eve room where Natalie and Eve drag James and set him on the bed.

Eve - What was that? What just happened?

Natalie - His mind is crumbling. Without that power of visions he's losing his mind. It's begun

Eve - What do we do?

Natalie - What do you think we should do?

Eve - Alex and Craig still haven't called . . . (looks at James) We have no choice. Prepare what we need. We are going to do the mind search.

Cut back to Priestess Edith's temple.

Edith - How dare you!! You come here and ask for my help and then threaten me!!

Craig - We mean no disrespect but we are desperate. James life hangs in the balance!! He needs his visions to survive. You must realize this. An innocent man could die if you ignore this

Edith - Hestia would never have taken his powers away if he had stayed with us!!

Alex - You find a way to help us or you're going to regret it.

Edith - Leave my temple!!

Alex pushes Edith and she flies into the far wall

Craig - ALEX!!

Craig jumps in front of her to prevent her from walking over to Edith. Edith looks at Alex with fear

Alex - I'm sick of being jerked around!! It's time to get physical

Craig - We don't do things that way!!

Alex - Yeah . . .well maybe we should. One of our own is dying and she doesn't care. Well I say we make her care!! And if Eve and Natalie sacrifice themselves to save James with some dangerous mind thing then we'll really be in a bind. I'm not going to let that happen!!! So get out of my way!

Alex pushes past Craig and walks slowly towards Edith. Edith is backed against the wall her eyes wide with fear. A blue electric sphere appears in Alex's hand

Alex - You see this? I'm part god and when you disrespect the life of my friend you disrespect me. So here's the deal. You help James get his powers back and I'll leave you alone. You refuse and you and the bimbo brigade will go up in a big ball a flames. So Priestess, what's it going to be?

Edith stares at the sphere in fear. She swallows and takes a deep shaky breath before she kneels on the floor before Alex.

Edith - There may be way to help him Goddess

Alex- (sphere vanishes) Wise choice

Craig just looks on with disappointment as he shakes his head.

COMMERCIAL

Cut to Priestess Edith walking through stone corridors lit by torches as Alex and Craig follow.

Cut to a room that is covered in pictures of James. Dozens and dozens of candid shots of James cover the wall. in the middle of the room there is a pedestal draped in purple fabric. On top of the pedestal lay the broken shards of glass covered in Virgil's blood from when is was destroyed by Eve. Heavy doors are pushed open and in walk Priestess Edith.

Edith - These are my private chambers of adoration

Alex and Craig walk in and stop short, shocked by the room.

Alex - Whoa! Have you ever seen the movie Fatal Attraction?

Edith - No

Alex - You should. It's about you

Edith chooses to ignore that comment and walks over to the pedestal.

Edith - These are the remains of the Visionary's blood after the Messenger destroyed it. We pray to the Pledge so James may come back to us.

Craig - The Pledge?

Edith - The force behind Hestia that gave Virgil his power. Daphne, the blood sister of my ancestor made a sacred pledge bound by the bond of sisterly love and godly devotion. My sisters and I must re enact the pledge and bring forth Daphne to re-evoke it. It might gives James back his power.

Alex - Well what are you waiting for? Get on with it!

Edith - It may not work. We do not know who took James' power away. Their will may be stronger then the pledge

Alex – Try it anyway.

Edith nods and begins to prepare.

Fade to Eve room. Eve is sitting beside James as Natalie is lighting the candles and incense and whispering chants. She sits down on the opposite side of James. She holds out her hand which Eve takes

Natalie - You ready for this?

Eve- Yeah.

Eve and Natalie both put their free hand on the James head. They both close their eyes.

Natalie bows her head and concentrates

Eve's eyes open wide and she gasps.

From her perspective we see blue and white lights speed towards and past us and around us like we are travelling through a tunnel. We get closer to the light at the end of it. The end of the tunnel emits a great white flash.

Cut to Eve and Natalie standing in a tunnel as flashing blue and white light swirl past them.

Eve - (slightly panicked) Where are we?

Natalie - Do you remember the road of life in Craig's mind, well this is the express lane. We have to go far back into the past and into James' past life as Virgil and we need to get there fast.

Eve looks along the blue and white swirling wall as memories of James past appear as do memories of past lives. She sees writers, poets, musicians and Virgil. Eve sees Virgil walking through the forest with scrolls in his backpack. Suddenly the image becomes larger and both Natalie and Eve are emerged in the image.

Eve and Natalie are now in the forest. Virgil walks past Eve and Natalie and doesn't even give then a second glance

Natalie - Remember. We shouldn't be perceived as real if we don't interact with the memories.

Eve and Natalie begin to follow Virgil.

Eve and Natalie see Virgil sit down on a rock and take out a quill and scroll. He begins to write. Eve walks over to Virgil and stands over his shoulder. She looks at him and smiles warmly.

Eve - You know I miss him. I miss my home too but I love the life I have now and I love James.

Natalie - (looks over Virgil's shoulder at what he's writing and reads out loud) "I sing of arms and of man; his fate had made him fugitive; he was the first" Hey, that's pretty good!

Eve and Natalie hear a scream. They see Virgil look up and run in direction of the scream. Eve is about to go as well when Natalie stops her.

Natalie - Remember it's just a memory. If you get involved you could cause more harm in James’ mind.

Natalie and Eve walk in the direction that Virgil went in.

Cut to the cliff edge where Virgil is talking to the young Hestian Virgin, Elana.

Elana - Yes thanks to you. (puts her hands on either side of his head) You must have a gift of visions to know I was in trouble

Virgil - (takes her hands away) No, I just have good hearing

Elana - Then you must be given a gift so you may help more people. You must come to my temple. We will pray to Hestia

Virgil - Whoa Whoa Whoa . . .look, I don't pray to Hestia. I'm sure she's great but I . . . I got to . . go

Virgil runs off but before he does scrapes his arms on a thorn. He winces a little bit grabs on to his bleeding arm and walks away. Elana walks over to the thorn adorned with Virgil's blood and breaks the branch off

Elana - I will pray to Hestia for you. You are a man of such courage and honour. You must be rewarded, therefore I will make you a visionary.

Eve makes the move to go after Virgil but Natalie pulls her away and points to Elana walking off.

Natalie - I think we should follow her

Eve - Can we do that? I mean she's no longer part of his memory anymore

Natalie - This is all a part of how James got his visions. If we follow her we might be able to find away to give James back his power

Eve nods and her and Natalie begin to follow Elana. In a flash of light, we cut to Elana walking through a Hestian temple. We see Eve and Natalie come into view.

A young blond woman runs around a corner of the temple and runs to Elana and hugs her.

Elana - Daphne! My sister

Daphne - Where have you been? What has happened to you? I've been so worried

Elana - My morning prayer was disturbed by Barbarians but a young virtuous man saved me

Daphne - (sighs relieved) Praise Hestia

Elana - And praise the man who saved me. He must be rewarded. He needs the power of vision so he can return and protect us

Daphne - Sister you speak of nonsense. Come inside. We must confess our sins to the head Priestess.

Elana - Daphne do not dismiss me in such a way! It is not just coincidence that I was saved. It must have been Hestia's will. He must be appointed to protect us.

Daphne - (smiles) You are among Hestia's most faithful and devoted. We will bring your intentions forth to Hestia.

Elana - Thank you sister.

Daphne - I am here for you Elana. You know that. Ever since we were very young. You are my blood sister and I will always protect you.

*Flash*

Elana is lying in her bed upset and withdrawn. We see Eve and Natalie in the background as Daphne comes in and sits on Elana's bed. Elana is completely un-responsive.

Daphne - She doesn't have the power. Apollo is the only one who will grant the power of prophesy and Hestia will not ask.

Elana - (in a sad whisper) He deserves the power

Daphne - You've been like this for months Elana. Take solace in the fact that Hestia sent that man to save your life. But he was meant for nothing more.

Elana turns to look at Daphne. Tears are streaming down her face

Elana - Couldn't you ask Apollo to grant Hestia the power to give the man a power of prophesy. We all know how he feels about you

Daphne - (scandalised) Only because Cupid shot him. My devotion is to Hestia alone. How could you possibly suggest such a thing? (realizes Elana's feelings) Unless you want that man to come back because you've fallen in love with him.

Elana - (cries) I don't want to disregard my vows or yours. I feel so ashamed and yet I need this man to know my love. I am so sick with love that I cannot bear to go on. If he just knew how I felt through the benefits of visions then that would be enough and I could go on fulfilling my vow to Hestia.

Daphne - (sighs and is filled with compassion for her sister) I cannot bear to see you so sad, so hopeless. I do not want to see your light dimmed. I will go to Apollo. I give you my word, my pledge, that this man will be a visionary. I will do what it takes for you, my sister.

*Flash*

Eve and Natalie find themselves in the golden hall of Apollo. Two priests escort Daphne. She kneels down before Apollo's throne. There is a flash of golden light and Apollo in all his golden glory appears before her. He bends down and brings her up by her shoulders. She looks him in the eye and he looks back at her with pure lust.

Apollo - My dear Daphne. You don't need to bow before me. Just let me give you my love and I will give you everything.

Daphne - There is only one thing I want. My sister, my blood sister is overcome with grief and sadness because she cannot give her love to the man who saved her life. She can’t even go to him because of her devotion to Hestia.

Apollo- And this upsets you?

Daphne - Yes. I love my sister very much and it pains me to see her this way. I want her to continue in her devotion to Hestia. She can only do this if this man knows of her love by way of a gift.

Apollo - And what does this have to do with me?

Daphne - My sister believes this man to be a protector of all Hestian virgins. He must foresee when we are in danger. She wants this man to have a power of prophesy. If you could give him that gift my sister will be able to perform her duties and continue on.

Apollo - And what do I get if I do?

Daphne - I have evaded you before but if you allow this power I will give myself to you.

Apollo - (excited) Do you realize what you ask?

Daphne - (panicked and weary of what she is doing) For only this one time. And Hestia can never know!! I do this for my sister!

Apollo - (takes Daphne in his arms) My love you are completely under my protection. You pledge yourself to me and it will be done.

Daphne - For my sister and her well being, I pledge myself to you. My body is yours and yours alone to do with as you please.

Apollo - And so it is done.

Apollo kisses Daphne passionately although she does not respond. He then picks her up in his arms and takes her away.

*Flash*

Eve and Natalie are in a black area. There is no light except for the light coming from a glowing figure of Daphne.

Natalie - We're at the centre. The core of James powers. Daphne is the reason he has his powers.

Eve - Daphne did it out of love for her sister. She made a pledge out of love.

Natalie - That's the higher power. Not Hestia, not Apollo. That's why Hestia could not take away Virgil's powers, she could only change his fate.

Eve - But who has the power to take them away now and more importantly how do we get them back?

Natalie - Eve, you are a Messenger of Love. Maybe evoking a pledge of love to Daphne might trigger the visions again.

As Eve approaches the figure she is blocked by several Virgil look alikes. Eve is surprised but she tries to move around them until one of them kicks her back and she stumbles into Natalie's arms.

Eve - What are they?

Natalie - James's defence system. He's trying to keep us away from the core.

The Virgils move to attack Eve and Natalie.

COMMERCIAL

Eve - I need to get past them to get to Daphne!

Eve jumps up and flips over the Virgils but one grabs her foot while in mid air bringing her crashing to the ground. Eve swings her legs around kicking him in the face knocking him back before swinging herself into an upright position. Two other Virgils approach with swords on either side of Eve. She ducks just in time as the Virgil's swing and clash swords. Eve kicks the legs out from under them. She then jumps up, swings around and kicks another Virgil down that was running toward her from the side. One Virgil comes at Eve from behind and grabs her by the hair and throws her back. He is about to bring his sword down on her when Eve stops it with her hands. She looks into Virgil’s eyes

Eve - James please! It's me. Eve. I'm here to help you. James I'm here because I love you!

Suddenly the Virgil's disappear as do the swords. Eve gets up cautiously and looks around as Natalie comes over.

Natalie - You were doing moves like you were in "The Matrix" and all it took was a few words of love to James to break the barriers.

Eve - (shakes her head) That should have been my first instinct. Love is the way and the true source of James power.

Cut to in the room covered in pictures of James and shards of glass with Virgil's blood on a pillar, Edith has kneeled in front of the pillar and her followers are kneeling in a circle around her. Alex and Craig stand off to the side.

Craig - (leans over to whisper to Alex) This better work. You certainly paid quite a price for it.

Alex - I did what I had to and I'll do it again if necessary.

They look back to Edith. She has spread her arms wide. She sings a few words in Greek and a ghostly figure appears, floating just above the pillar. The figure takes the shape of a beautiful young blond woman. It's Daphne. Her figure is transparent and she seems to be staring straight ahead.

Edith - Daphne, devoted and faithful! You made a pledge out of love and sisterly devotion. Your love is worth more then any godly power. We call on your love again. Ignite the pledge that gave power! As the direct ancestor of your blood sister I plead to you. Give the Visionary back what was so wrongly taken from him.

Cut to Eve and Natalie in the core of James mind where is powers are centered. They circle around a glowing figure of Daphne.

Natalie - Eve, you are what triggered James' powers. Connect with her Eve. Just touch her, that should bring back his powers.

Eve walks over to Daphne with an out stretched hand and lightly touches Daphne's shoulder.

Daphne - It is done

Cut to Priestess Edith's chamber as a massive bright light explodes from the ghostly figure of Daphne.

Cut to Eve's room where a flash of light explodes from James. Eve and Natalie are blown back from James and land on opposite sides of Eve's room. A small light glows around Natalie for a moment and then fades.

Cut back to Priestess Edith's chamber. Everyone gets up after be knocked down from the blast. Craig walks over to help Priestess Edith up as Alex stalks over

Alex - Is that it? Does James have his powers?

Edith - (still in fear) I don't know for sure. I . . .I just . . . .There is no way to be certain unless you go see him

Alex - Oh stop trembling.

Edith - You will not kill us?

Alex - No. I don't do that.

Alex walks out of the chamber. Craig gives one last look to Edith and bows slightly before following after Alex.

Cut to Eve's bedroom in her apartment. We pan in on James lying on the bed. James eyes snap open and he shoots up into a sitting position. Eve groans and opens her eyes to see James sitting up feeling his head.

Eve - James! (rushes over but sees Natalie groaning and trying to get up from the ground) Natalie (rushes over to help her up) Are you alright?

Natalie - That was quite the blast wasn't it?

Eve - Yeah (looks over to James who still looks confused) James?

James - (looks up at them and smiles)It's back!

Eve rushes over and hugs him. He hugs her back

Natalie walks over to James and puts her hands on either side of his head. She closes her eyes for a minute then opens them and steps back

Natalie - Things are fuzzy but it's all there.

James - Things do seem a little fuzzy but I'm sure I'll be fine. Thank you Natalie and you too Eve

James takes her hand and kisses it. Eve smiles

Fade to later in Eve's apartment. Alex and Craig come in with Morgan and Jeff on their heels. James Eve and Natalie are in the main room.

Alex - (smiling goes over to hug James) James you're alright!

Craig - I guess Priestess Edith's plea worked

Eve - Priestess Edith? I thought you two couldn't get her to help.

Craig - We did. She made a plea to the higher power. The source of James's powers. A pledge by . . .

Eve - Daphne.(sees Craig and Alex with a confused looks on their faces) James 's mind was deteriorating fast. We had to do the mind search. We found Daphne and her pledge of love. We got her to give him his powers back

Alex - I thought begging Daphne's spirit to renew her pledge jump-started his visions.

James - Well one of them worked. I have my visions back and I have all of you to thank.

Alex - You're one of us James. We did what we had to.

Craig - I wouldn't be so sure of that

Alex rolls her eyes as she goes to sit on Eve's couch

Eve – What does that mean?

Alex - I might have gotten a little rough with the Priestess.

Eve - (rolls her eyes in exasperation) Oh Alex, why?!

Alex - You're over reacting. Edith wasn't going to help us and we were running out of time. I did what I had to.

Craig - You threatened her and you used your status as a God to force someone into submission!

Morgan - I thought we didn't do that. Aren't we supposed to be above that?

Alex - (stands up) What the hell is this? Gang up on Alex day? Using my godhood wasn't such a problem when I was blowing demon's heads up but when I use it to save a friend . . . So, I made a few idle threats. I wouldn't have actually hurt her.

Eve - THAT'S NOT THE POINT! You forced her to help by using violence and what's worse you used your powers as a God to do so. That makes you no better then a common thug. You undermined our morals!

Alex - For a friend! It's part of that sacrificing for the greater good we're always talking about. I sacrificed a few of my morals to save a friend from death so he may continue to help in our mission. And I'd do it again in a second for any one of you.

The room goes quiet and Eve doesn't know what to say. She is shocked by Alex words

Alex - Right then. James, I'm glad you're alright. Natalie, thank you for helping. Oh and by the way, you all suck!

Alex gives one last look at everyone and heads out of Eve's apartment leaving everyone shocked.

Fade out of Eve's apartment and fade into a room filled with marble and gold. The blond man that we saw earlier comes into view. He stops and bows. It appears he is addressing someone although we cannot see who.

We see a hand come forward gesturing for Etan to speak.

Etan - Our efforts to completely wipe the visionary of his powers have failed. Daphne's pledge was too strong. However, we were able to erase the vessel from his line of vision and able to do the same to another threat. Both have been neutralized. They won't see what's coming. Phase one is completed. I request permission to gather my brothers and proceed with phase two.

The hand appears again and gestures, giving permission for Etan to proceed. Etan bows once more and leaves to room.
