Fade in with a pan across the Godlen Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The sun shines bright as it rises in the morning. Fade to the Halliwell Manor.

Fade to inside. Phoebe Halliwell closes the door after getting the mail. She looks through the batch as Piper walks over. Phoebe comes across a letter addressed to her. Handing the pile over to Piper she looks at her own letter with interest as she sits down. Piper notices this.

Piper - What's that?

Phoebe - A letter.

Piper - I can see that! A letter from who?

Phoebe - From a lawyer in New York. Somebody bought my building!

Piper - You owned a building? No wonder you were broke

Phoebe - It was worth practically nothing. It was old and rundown. I had all these plans for it!

Piper - What happened? You run out of money?

Phoebe - Yeah!

Piper - So what's the problem now?

Phoebe - I have to sign over the deed. Which means I have to go to New York

Piper - Hire a lawyer!

Phoebe -I don't have a lawyer. And I can't do it by proxy. (looking through the papers) I think its a legal thing

Piper - Phoebe! You can't just run off to New York. Paige and I need you here. What about the demons?

Phoebe - What demons? Its been quiet for weeks! No attacks, no premonitions about attacks!

Piper - Oh no, why did you say that? Something always happens when you say things like that!

Phoebe - It'll only be for a few days. If something happens, Leo can orb me back!

Piper - (sighs)Fine. Do what you need to do.

Phoebe - It will be fine! It is weird though. I wonder where they all went? It's like all the demons just packed up and left.

Piper - Ha! If only.

Cut a full moon at night. Pan down to city street and highways where demons of all shapes and sizes are walking along the sidelines, keeping to the shadows and hiding among the trees. Cut to waters, lakes,and rivers where demons are swimming. Pan up from the water to the statue of liberty. Pan out to see all the demons going toward the statue and toward New York

Pan over New York early the next day. Cut to a plane flying overhead. Cut to pan over the busy streets. Everyone seems to be going about their normal business.

Cut to a close up on one of the streets. We pan past several people then stop at one of the vendors where Craig is. He pays for the morning paper and waves bye. He walks past a dark alley when he hears some weird growling. He backs up and heads a little bit into the dark alley. The growling becomes more distinctive and Craig's eyes snap wide open at what he hears. He backs slowly out of the alley and then breaks into a run down the street.

Cut to the Centre with a close up of the sign that says "NEW DAYS" Pan down to the entrance where Phoebe stands looking at the sign.

Phoebe - (scrunches up her nose)Sounds like a cheap motel

Cut to inside and pan in on Phoebe as she walks in and looks around the lively place. Phoebe looks over to the register to see Alex. She has her back to Phoebe. With a clipboard in hand, she looks like she's taking inventory. Phoebe walks over

Phoebe - Excuse me. Do you know where I can find Alex MacKenzie?

Alex - (turns around) - You're looking at her.

Phoebe - (sticks out her hand to shake) I'm Phoebe Halliwell.

Alex - (shakes her hand) Ah! The previous owner. It's nice to meet you.

Phoebe - Likewise. (gestures around her) I like what you've done with the place. You turned it into a gym?

Alex - Gym, juice bar, community center!

Phoebe - (chuckles) I was just going to turn it into a seedy bar.

Alex - New York has enough of those. I opted for something a little different (brings out a pile of paper work) Now, all you have to do is sign these and I'll do the rest.

Phoebe - (looks at Alex strangely for a second) Riiiight. Can I borrow a pen?

Alex - Shoot! I knew I forgot something. Hold on, I'll find you one

Alex turns her back to Phoebe to begin looking for a pen. Phoebe gives Alex a strange look again and shakes her head. She looks around the centre at the people working out. She hears the laughing of children and looks over to where a large group of children are. In the middle of the group Eve plays and laughs with the kids. Phoebe watches this and smiles. Eve smiles at the kids one last time and ruffles the hair on a few of them and makes her way over to the bar.

Alex - AH HA!

Phoebe turns back around startled

Alex - (Holding up a pen) Found one!

Hands the pen to Phoebe who begins to sign the papers just as Eve walks up.

Eve - Alex, I need some supplies for making crafts with the kids.

Alex - Right! I've got some in the backroom. Just give me a sec! (runs off to the backroom)

Phoebe looks up to Eve

Phoebe - You're really good with those kids down there!

Eve - (laughs) Its not hard. They're good kids. So you're the former owner huh?

Phoebe - Is it that obvious?

Eve - The mountain of paper work gave it away. Don't worry, it's not as complicated as it all looks. Alex likes to keep things simple. The less she has to think about the better

Alex (voice from the backroom) - I heard that!!

Eve and Phoebe laugh a little bit

Phoebe - Do you have kids of your own?

Eve - (smiles and shakes her head) No.

Phoebe - Well you look like a natural. You seem very happy.

Eve - I love working with children. I love the way they see the world, everything is full of possibility. Magic.(laughs a little) I almost feel innocent again.

Phoebe - (frowns at hearing Eve's words) I haven't felt that way in a long time.

Eve - (looks to Phoebe)I was like that once. But then I came here and I was renewed. I've gone through a lot of change and it took a while but I finally found my place.

Phoebe - What do you mean?

Eve - (hesitates) My life has been complicated and I haven't always been free. But here I am. I'm free to be me and do what I was meant to do.

Phoebe - (smiles) What did you say your name was?

Eve - I'm Eve (holds out her hands to shake)

Phoebe shakes Eve's hand and suddenly receives a premonition

Cut to the premonition.

There is a blue haze as Phoebe sees Eve being backed into a corner. Demons advance on her from everywhich way.

Cut back to the centre where we see Phoebe jolt out of it

Eve -(notices this) Hey, are you okay?

Phoebe looks back to Eve. Phoebe shakes her head lightly and smiles.

Phoebe - Yeah! I'm fine. You know what? I'm going to take these papers back to my hotel room and sign them there. I'll bring these back tomorrow. (grabs the papers and leaves in a hurry)

Alex comes out of the backroom with a box of supplies and sees Phoebe run out of the center.

Alex - Hey, where's she going? And with my paper work!!

Eve - (concerned by Phoebe's strange behaviour) She just left!

Alex - She better not mess up the order of those papers! It took me forever to get that organized.

Eve sends Alex an annoyed look as she grabs the box of craft supplies.

Cut to several demons standing in the shadows in a crypt at a cemetery.They are speaking in strange languages.

Demon1 -(subtitles) Have you found her?

Demon2 - Not yet.

Demon1 - We have to find her! Demons from across the land have arrived in New York to destroy the Messenger

Demon3 - The reward for the bounty placed on her head will be sought by many!

Demon1 - Which is why we must be first! If we destroy the Messenger, Lucifer's assent to Earth will be immanent and we can have a place at his side as his second in command

Demon2 - But what if someone rises to take her place.

Demon1 - No one rose to take the place of the last Messenger who died. Once she falls all other do gooders on this earth will fall and nothing will stop evil from rising.

The demons laugh eviliy

Fade to Phoebe's hotel room

Phoebe is sitting in her room on her bed talking on the phone to Piper

Piper(voice) - You said it would only be a couple of days!

Phoebe - I had a premonition Piper. I saw this woman being attacked by demons. I wouldn't have received this premonition if it wasn't important somehow!

Piper(voice) - How can you be sure?

Phoebe - I don't know. But Eve is important. I felt it when I shook her hand. And I think she needs my help.

Piper(voice) - Be careful

Fade to the centre during the night when the last few people leave

Eve - (waves) Bye! thanks for coming!

Eve walks over to Alex who is sitting down at one of the tables tired. Eve sits down next to her.

Eve - You know, I've been thinking about that woman who came in earlier today

Alex - Phoebe Halliwell?

Eve - Yeah. I sense something from her. She's different.

Alex - I don't want to doubt your intuition Eve but I think you're drawing parallels where there aren't any? She's just a woman who happens to be the former owner of this building.

Eve - I think our paths crossed for a reason. There is a reason why we met today. Things have been quiet. Too quiet . . . like before a battle

Alex - Don't say things like that! Whenever you say things like that the poop usually hits the fan, like right after! Can we just relax for once and enjoy the breather?

Craig runs in just then. He is out of breath wide eyed and panicked

Craig - Eve! We have to get you out of here now!

Alex - And splat!

Craig - Listen! This morning I overheard Fiore Demons . . .

Alex - Fiore Demons? But . . . this is too cold a climate for them. They're usually found in California!

Craig - And it got me thinking. I got in contact with a few mystics and hunters across the country. There has been a mass exodus of demons from states across the country. A calling has been sent out to all demons!

Eve - What kind of calling?

Craig - There's a bounty on your head Eve! You're being hunted.

Eve - What do we do?

Craig - There is no way we can handle the demons that are coming for you. You've got to get out of the city! You need to hide until things die down.

Eve - Where can I possibly go?

Craig - Anywhere as long as it's not here! We can get a you cloak or a misdirection spell but those things take time. If you can hide it will buy us time but we need to get you away from here first!

Alex - Its already night! If demons are crawling this city, we can't move Eve now

Craig - We have to because it won't be long before they come here!

Eve - I need a distraction

Craig - Alex and I will draw the demons away from from you.

Alex - How many times have you been hit in the head?! I'm a god sure, but there's no way I can take on the number of demons your suggesting!

Craig - If you've got another idea I'm happy to entertain it.

Alex falls silent

Eve - There's no time to waste. I'll get a few things, then we can go!

COMMERCIAL

Cut to Phoebe walking along the streets. She's making her way toward the Centre. She hears a snarling from a short distance away. She looks around to see Kazi demons! She quickly ducks out of the way and into hiding

Phoebe - What are Kazi Demons doing here?

Phoebe hears a noise behind her and sees a couple of other demons skulking in the alley. She quickly hides behind a dumpster

Phoebe - What is going on? I need to get to that Centre!

Phoebe looks out and see the coast clear. She makes her move and hurries toward the direction of the Centre.

Cut to Alex and Craig looking out from the door of the Centre. They motion that the coast is clear. And Eve comes out with her a back pack and chakram in hand.

They run out to Craig's car but stop suddenly as a huge green demon with horns picks up Craig's car and holds high over it's head. The demon then throws it over on to another car crushing both.

Demon - You're mine Messenger!

Eve - You're not my type!

Alex and Craig grabs Eve and pushes her to run.

Cut to Alex Eve and Craig running down the street. They stop to see several demons come down the opposite end of the street toward them. They turn back to see the big green demon followed by other demons. Alex forms a big lightening ball in her hand and blasts the big demon to dust.

Craig - Eve run! We'll hold them off!

Craig and Alex maintain a fighting stance while Eve cuts a sharp left. She stops for a moment to look back and sees Craig kick a demon with a double roundhouse and Alex throws a sphere of fire at another demon. Alex then ducks the punch of a blue scaled demon only to be kicked in the back by the same demon then picked up and thrown down the road to land on the roof of a car.

Eve - ALEX!!

Two demons run toward Eve in pursuit. Craig looks over to Eve still standing there

Craig - GET OUT OF HERE! GO!!

Eve gives one helpless look toward Craig and begins running away

Cut to Eve head on running down the street. She makes a sharp turn into an alley when she is confronted by a demon that jumps out of the dumpster. Thinking quickly, she jumps on to a box giving her leverage to jump over the demon. She then jumps on the dumpster propelling up from that to the wall. She uses her legs to propel her from the wall over to the fire escape on the other side of the alley. She climbs up the fire escape on to the roof of the building and continues to run over the roof tops jumping over the space between the buildings.

As Eve runs across the building, the demons follow her using the street surfaces

Just as Eve is about to jump to another building a demon throws a spike at her. It hits her through the leg. The sudden jerk and searing pain jolts thorugh her body and she misses the building. She falls down into a garbage heap. She crawls out and pulls the spike from her leg. She wonders where it comes from. She hears a laughing from behind. She turns around to sees a demon covered head to toe in spikes. Two large spikes stick out from his elbows. He breaks them off his elbows and begins to swing them around as if they were swords and advances toward Eve. She looks back to the spike in her hand and flings it at the spiked demon striking him in the chest. He falls on to his back.

Eve uses this moment to escape. She runs out of the alley as fast as she can with her injured leg. As she turns the corner on to the street she bumps into two more demons. Both demons conjure fire. Eve falls to the ground and tries to crawl backwards away from them. She somersaults backward kicking the two demons in the face.

As she gets up the spiked demon comes out of the alley and begins swiping at her with the spikes as the two fire demons regain composure and advance on her from behind. Eve dodges the swipes from the spikes and jumps out of the way of a fire hydrant. The spike falls down on the hydrant and the water sprays out with force on the fire demons and the spike demon. The smoke coming from the fire demons clouds the vision of the demons and Eve runs back into the alley.

Eve runs down the alley ways, zig zagging making every possible turn she hoping she doesn't hit a dead end. She turns at several corners when she sees more demons approaching her from another direction and looking to block her way. She turns around to go back the way she came and sees more demons coming up from behind. These demons also look to follow. Eve makes another turn down an alley and comes confronted with a wall. She stops and looks at the wall horrified. She puts her hand up against the wall and pushes as if looking for a way out. She hears a snarl from behind her. She slowly turns around to see what she already knew was there. Six demons advance towards Eve. She gets into a fighting stance ready to fight her way out.

Cut to just outside the alley on to the street where Phoebe is walking. She has been looking for Eve. She hears growls from the alley. She stops and looks at the entrance of the alley. It looks familiar and she remembers her premonition.

She walks into the alley cautiously. Her fists are curled up. She turns a corner and sees large demons blocking her view. The demons seem to be cornering someone and Phoebe knows it's her duty to help.

Phoebe - Hey!!

The demons look behind them to see Phoebe there. They part a little bit and Phoebe sees a glimpse of Eve in a fighting stance. They snicker a little then turn back to Eve. Phoebe throws bottled potions blowing up some of the demons. Eve looks at Phoebe shocked. A demon runs to attack Phoebe but Eve grabs it by the head.

Eve - It the name of Eli and all the powers in heaven!! I command this evil be cast back to hell.

The demon screams as it is engulfed in light and smoke before it disappears.

The remaining demons turn back to Eve. Phoebe runs and jumps in the air and levitates over the demons using her moves from kick boxing to kick each demon in the head knocking them out.

As Phoebe lands, the once demon still standing turns on Phoebe.

Demon - Okay! You got to go!

At that moment Eve takes out her chakram. She throws it and as it ricochets off the alley, it comes around again and slices the head off the demon! Phoebe ducks though it isn't even close to hitting her. The chakram ricochets off a fire escape and sails back to Eve who catches it. Phoebe looks at Eve stunned.

Phoebe- Who are you? Xena Warrior Princess?

Eve - No. Just her daughter!

Phoebe - Huh?

COMMERCIAL

Eve hobbles over to Phoebe who runs over to Eve to help her!

Eve - How did you do that thing before? Did you just float!

Phoebe - No time to explain. We got to get you out of here!

As Phoebe puts Eve's arm around her she receives a vision. Not of the future but of the past

Cut to Phoebe's vision of Eve's past

Cut back to Phoebe and Eve. Phoebe gasps.

Phoebe - You're the Messenger of Eli?

Eve - How did you . . . ?

Phoebe and Eve her a few groans. The demons are waking up.

Phoebe - We can chat later. Can you walk?

Eve - It's only a small wound. I've survived worse.

Phoebe - Come on!

Phoebe helps Eve out of the alley. They come across an old door that looks like access to one of the buildings.

Phoebe - I hope this leads somewhere and its not for decoration

Phoebe leans Eve against the wall and whispers a spell. The door becomes translucent. Eve's eyes widen! Phoebe grabs Eve and they walk through the door. Behind them the door becomes solid. Eve and Phoebe are concealed

Phoebe barricades the door behind her then looks out a window to see if there are any demons around. She then looks back to Eve and rips off a part of her shirt and tries to tend the wound with what little resources they have.

Phoebe - Do you know of somewhere safe we can get you?

Eve - You don't understand. There is no where safe. All these demons are here because of me! They're here to hunt me!

Phoebe - (stops what's she doing and looks up at Eve) Because you're powerful?

Eve - Sort of.

Phoebe - I saw it! I saw you use that power in the alley and I saw you use your power in the past!

Eve - You saw the past? How

Phoebe - It hard to explain. I usually have the power to see the future. I don't know why I saw your past. I'm a witch

Eve - I guess that explains a few things but I know a Wiccan. He doesn't have anywhere near the power you have.

Phoebe - It's a little bit different for me. I'm a Charmed One. I'm destined to fight evil.

Eve - A Charmed One?

Phoebe - (finds a way to explain but shrugs) Its a long story (finishes on Eve's leg and stands up.) I'm sorry that's the best I can do. I don't usually tend wounds, I leave that to my white lighter (looks at Eve's confused face) Another long story.

Phoebe looks out through the cracks of the barricaded windows

Phoebe - I've never seen so many demons in one place! And they're all after you? Why

Eve -(shakes her head) I'm not entirely sure. All I know is that there is a pretty big bounty on my head. I fight evil like you, but my mission here so much greater. I'm here to help people, not by fighting demons but helping people choose a better path. . . Lucifer fears that I'll succeed, that I can stop him from ascending to earth.

Phoebe - Lucifer? As in the devil?

Eve nods

Phoebe -(sits down on a near by chair and puts her head in her hands) The Devil. Like the Source

Eve - I don't understand.

Phoebe -(laughs at the absurdity of it) I really do get all the hard jobs

Eve - (shakes her head a little)What do you mean?

Phoebe - I had a premonition about you. You were surrounded by demons. I get premonitions when I'm meant to help someone. I was meant to help you.

Eve - And do you do good with you powers?

Phoebe - Yes but . . . the evil that I fight just keeps getting bigger, more than I can handle. One of these days I feel like evil is going to win and I'm going to end up dying. I'm losing hope.

Eve - (remembers her morning conversation)And you'd like to feel innocent again.

Phoebe - Innocents have hope.

Eve - My friend Alex would say that's just ignorance. Being so blissful and all

Phoebe - (chuckles a little but becomes serious) Evil took my mother. The Source of all Evil took my sister. Evil has taken a lot from me. Sometimes I wonder if I can go on. I wonder if its worth it.

Eve - Why did you start fighting evil in the first place?

Phoebe - When I got these powers years ago I realized they came with great purpose, to help people.

Eve - And have you? (sees Phoebe nod) Then why not stop? You've done your fair share.

Phoebe - (incredulous) Its not that simple!

Eve - Sure it is. You've done enough. Maybe its time to step down and let someone else handle it. Ignore the visions if you can. Turn away when you see a demon.

Phoebe - I can't do that!

Eve - What's stopping you? Is it destiny? Let me ask you, take destiny at of the equation. Would you still help people if it wasn't your cosmic duty to do so?

Phoebe - (stands up suddenly passionate)Yes!

Eve - Why?

Phoebe - I can't just turn my back and let evil hurt others. I don't want anyone to know the kind of pain that I've experienced. I want a world of peace and balance. I want children, like the ones you were working with, to grow up in a world where they don't have to be afraid. Where innocents can live free and full of hope.

Eve - (smiles) Then you have your answer.

Phoebe - (confused) What?

Eve - You can go on. You have been all this time. And you haven't been thinking about if the pain has been worth it. You've been going on because you want a better future for everyone, because a better world it always worth fighting for.

Phoebe thinks about what Eve has said. She blinks a little bit as she comes to a realization. She smiles as she looks at Eve.

Phoebe - I thought I received that premonition to help you. I think it was so you can help me.

Eve - I do need your help. My friends are out there trying to keep the demons away from me. I want to keep them safe but there's also no way I can fight off the number of demons out there trying to kill me.

Phoebe - Why were they trying to fight them?

Eve - So I could get into hiding, so they can buy time to work a cloaking spell or . . .something a little stronger. Craig can work some powerful magic but I think spells like that might be out of his realm of expertise.

Phoebe - I think I can help with that. All we need is a few ingredients. Is there a . . .health food shop or restaurant anywhere close?

Eve - (gets up slowly and looks out the window)I think there's a magic shop a few blocks down from here actually

Phoebe - Really?

Eve - I may not know a lot about the century but I have learned where things are and where Craig goes to stock up.

Phoebe - (turns Eve back to her) Wait, century? What?

Eve - Oh yeah, I'm from the past.

Phoebe - How is that even possible?

Eve - (turns a phase and looks pointedly at Phoebe)Its a long story?

Phoebe - (nods and laughs a little) Okay fair enough. But we should definitely talk. But later

Eve - One long story for another. Deal.

Phoebe - So, you're really Xena's daughter? (sees Eve nods) Wow!

Eve - First things first.

Phoebe - Right. We need to get to that magic shop

Eve - There are demons everywhere combing the streets

Phoebe looks around and sees a stairwell.

Phoebe - I have an idea that will keep us off the streets. I think this building has roof access. Let's get to the roof. Can you walk?

Eve - (limps a bit) I'll be fine

Cut to Phoebe and Eve walking out of the door that lead to the roof.

Phoebe - Where are we going?

Eve - (points) West. Straight on! The magic shop is a couple of streets over

Phoebe and Eve make their way to the edge of the building

Phoebe - Here (sticks out her hand to Eve) Take my hand.

Eve - Why? (takes her hand still not understanding)

Phoebe - You'll see in a minute.

Phoebe levitates with Eve levitating with her. Phoebe pushes herself with Eve holding on over to the next roof top

Cut to Phoebe and Eve. Pan on their feet as they run on each roof top and jump to levitate over to the next one.

They finally land on the roof of the magic shop.

Eve - Wow! That was intense!

Phoebe - This the place?

Eve - Yeah (point to the door that leads to downstairs) Down that way.

Phoebe speaks the same spell that she has whispered before.

Phoebe - My intention is true, my intention is sure. Let this door no longer hide, that which I seek inside.

The door become translucent. Phoebe smiles at Eve and nods her head toward the door. Both walk through the entrance and the door becomes solid again.

Cut to downstairs Phoebe walks through the door and looks around. She finds what she needs and starts gathering various ingredients.

Eve - I'm glad we didn't have to break an entering. I just wish we didn't have to steal stuff.

Phoebe - Its for a good cause but if you're that uneasy about it I'll come in later and write a cheque.

Eve - (smirks) I'll put it on Craig's tab

Phoebe - (looks at Eve as she begins mixing herbs) Did this Craig guy bring you here from the past? (sees Eve nod) Why? I mean, why bring someone from the past to fight evil now?

Eve - Its what I do. I have the supernatural power to vanquish demons but Craig wanted to do more that just stop the evil. He wants to help people turn from evil and make better choices. Stop it before it starts. Evil feeds evil. What if more people started doing more good?

Phoebe - You cut off the food supply. So to speak.

Eve - (nods) I don't know why me exactly? But I'm glad I was brought here. I wasn't always a good person. But when I tried to change, try to do good, people didn't want to hear it. They hated and feared me. I never blamed them but I didn't know how to turn hatred for me into love for one another. I know I have a destiny to help people and I think I can fulfill that here

Phoebe - Would you still try to help people if you hadn't come to this time?

Eve - Yes. I've seen evil too. I've been evil. I want to prevent the kind of pain I used to cause. I want to help make a better future, for everyone.

Phoebe - (smiles) Maybe you can help my boyfriend? He's half demon.

Eve - Have him send me an email!

Phoebe and Eve laugh.

Phoebe - Right, pass me the basil.

Eve - (passes Phoebe the ingredient) When this is done we should go back to the Center and see if Alex and Craig went back there

Phoebe - Nope. When we're done this, we put together a few quick vanquishing potions then scrye for your friends. We're going to put and end to this.

Eve - You really think about everything don't you.

Phoebe - Well, I've doing this for a while. Besides, (looks to Eve) You need to get back to helping people.

Phoebe throws a couple of last ingredients and it explodes a little. The smoke rises and she wafts is out of the way

Phoebe - And you can't do that with demons hunting you. So, we're going to make them stop hunting you and help your friends in the process.

Eve - Then lets work fast!

Cut to later on the streets of New York. Alex and Craig are bleeding and bruised as they walk quickly down the street. They hear a sound behind them. Alex quickly grabs Craig and ducks into a corner.

Eve and Phoebe quickly round the corner and sigh in relief when they find Alex and Craig

Eve - Alex! Craig!

Alex - (whirls around)Eve!

Eve runs over and hugs Alex and then Craig who winces in pain

Craig - What are you doing here?

Eve - We came to find you!

Craig - We were hoping you got out of the city!

Eve - I'm fine. And we have a plan to put an end to this, thanks to Phoebe

Alex - Phoebe Halliwell?

Phoebe - (smiles) Hey.

Eve - Now listen . . .

Demon - MESSENGER!!

Eve, Phoebe, Alex and Craig all look at what looks like an army of demons. They slowly advance toward them

Alex lashes out a wave of lightening that takes some demons out

Phoebe - Well, that's new!

More demons advance. Craig ducks a punch and head butts a demon another demon aims to punch Craig in the head. Craig tries to block but ends up getting hit in the stomach and thrown down

Phoebe levitates up and kicks a demon in the head then while still in the air kicks another demon sending it flying into a wall. Phoebe lands beside Alex who looks at her strangely

Alex - What are you?

Phoebe - Witch. You?

Alex - Part God

Phoebe - Oh.

Eve jumps up does a splits kick in the air sending two demons flying then repeats the move sending another two out of the way. She then does a round house kick on one yellow skin demon then kicks the feet out from another demon with bug like eyes. Eve then jumps up and flips backward kicking a huge demon with devil like horns in the face. Eve takes out a small vile and drinks a potion. She jumps up and flips over a few demons. She kicks a few in the back and bounces off them and hits a few more. All the demons turn their attention to Eve. All advance on her!

Craig - Eve!! What are you doing??!!

Alex - NO!!

Phoebe -(holding Alex back) No wait!!

Alex - Are you CRAZY?!!!

All the demon advance toward Eve. Phoebe takes out a vile and throws at the demons advancing on Eve. A massive explosion occurs. A couple of demons blow up but Eve is thrown into a wall of a building. Eve doesn't get up. She lies there motionless

Alex breaks away from Phoebe

Craig - EVE!!

They run over and Craig feels for a pulse

Craig - There's no pulse!! She's dead!!

COMMERCIAL

Cut to the city streets. We pan down on Eve who lies on the ground motionless. Craig and Alex and Phoebe gather around her. Craig hangs his head in despair and Alex starts taking deep breath almost panicking and looks like she is going to cry. Demons gather around.

Demon - It is done.

Bug Eyed Demon - And what of the others

Demon - They're of no importance. Nothing can stop the rise of Hell now.

The demons begin to leave the area. They walk into the distance and out of sight. Demons from the outskirts who watched on also leave the scene.

Craig sits down, his back against the building hitting his head lightly against the wall.

Craig - All that work. All that time. Wasted.

Alex - (gets up and turns to Phoebe) WHAT DID YOU DO?!

Phoebe sighs and takes out a vile from her pocket. She brushes past Alex and kneels next to Eve. She puts the vile under Eve's nose and waves the scent in front of Eve. Alex grabs Phoebe's arm

Alex - What are you doing?

Phoebe - Just wait.

Eve begins to revive. She coughs a little

Alex - Eve! You're alive!

Craig - (gets up from his seat and crawls over to Eve)How is this possible?

Phoebe - I know a little more about potions than you do

Eve stands up slowly with some help from Craig and Alex. Phoebe smiles

Eve - We didn't have time to bring you in on the plan. Phoebe made a potion that only simulated my death. It was clear the the demons wouldn't stop hunting me until they thought I was dead.

Craig - But once they figure out you're not, they'll come back.

Eve - Which reminds me . . .(takes a small vile out of her coat pocket) Alex, when I say, throw a lightening ball at this vile.

Eve throws the vile into the air

Eve - Now!

Alex quickly throws a lightening ball into the air at the vile blowing it up. A mist comes down falling over Eve

Phoebe - Wanted by evil, dark as night, I cloak you now in witch's light. Goddess I invoke thee to protect The Messenger in her fight. Let her now be hidden from demons sight.

Craig - You cast a cloaking spell!

Alex - (looks to Phoebe stunned) Why are you going this? Why are you helping us

Phoebe - The world needs Eve. She's important in the fight against evil because she brings hope. That potion will keep her cloaked. Demons won't be able to hunt her, they won't be able to track or sense her in anyway. It won't last forever but I taught Eve how to make more if this happens again. If Lucifer wants Eve dead, he's going to have think up a new way.

Alex - Thank you

Craig - That's a complex spell you just performed. You must be powerful witch

Phoebe - I'm a Charmed One

Craig - Wow!

Alex - A what?

Cut to the centre the next day. It's closed as Phoebe and Eve talk and laugh over their adventures. Craig and Alex laugh with them

Phoebe - So, you are officially a 2000 year old profit brought here from Ancient Greece by a time transporting spell? (looks to Craig) And you can't do a cloaking spell?

Craig - (rolls his eyes) The spell was written by my grandmother specifically to be performed by me and bring Eve to this time. I don't have near the power she had but somehow she knew I would have just enough to perform that spell.

Alex - Well, I guess you should practice some more if you're going to replicate that cloaking spell

Phoebe - I just hope your grandmother's spell doesn't mess with the timeline

Craig - It wouldn't have worked if Eve wasn't meant to be here

Phoebe - One thing I've learned about magic. It does work, just not always the way we expect.

Eve - (laughs) Besides, I don't think any of our adventures compare to yours.

Alex - A trio of crime fighting, demon hunting witches who marry their Guardian Angels

Phoebe - Hey, I'm dating a half demon. It was my sister that married our Whitelighter. And give yourself some time. It gets weirder. (smiles at the three) But it nice to have someone to talk to about the weirdness.

Craig - Yeah, we keep a lot of things to ourselves as well.

Phoebe - I have my sisters but . . . I think we need a community.

Eve - Sure. We "destined to fight evil" types need to stick together. Promise to keep in touch?

Phoebe - Absolutely

Phoebe and Eve hug. Phoebe looks to her watch

Phoebe - But I do have a plane to catch, so I should get going.

Alex hands Phoebe an envelope of papers

Alex - And with that, here are the papers signed, copied and notarized!

Phoebe - And the deed is yours. Its in good hands too. You've done a great job with this place

Alex - You're welcome here anytime. We owe you a lot.

Phoebe - (shakes her heads and smiles) I was meant to help Eve and she was meant to help me. Fate's funny that way

Eve - (smiles) You're welcome

Phoebe - And if any of you are in need of a vacation come to San Francisco and look me up!

Eve - Thanks, but from what I hear about San Francisco, I don't think I would get much of a vacation.
