Shao Kahn

Shao Kahn is the evil emperor of Outworld. For thousands of years Shao Kahn has been stealing realms, transforming them into his ever expanding collection of vanquished realms known as the Outworld. He has even attempted to invade the Earth realm and steal the world from "inferior" human occupants..

At one time he even conquered the once beautiful realm known as Edenia, destroying everything good and forcing it to become part of the Dark Realm of Outworld. He murdered Edenia's king, took the Queen Sindel as his bride, adopted Kitana as his daughter and transformed Edenia into a desolate realm - making it part of his collection of realms knows as the Outworld.

There is no Realm he seeks more desperately than that of Earth realm, not just as a collector, but because Earth is special, a young energy rich planet that also happens to be the gateway to other realms. The sorceress Vorpax holds the key to unlocking the gateway; the Crystals of the Cobalt Mines and their daughter Cyan.
