Angels
and their
heirarchy
1) Archangels:
a.
Michael-means
one who is like
God
b Gabriel-The
mighty one of
God
They have the
likeness of man
.
These are God's
special
top
angels. Even
though the
Bible does not
say Gabriel is
an archangel it
is assumed
due
to his name and
the way God
used
him.
2)
Cherubim:
a.
They have four
faces.
The
front face is a
cherubim, the
right is a
man
The
left is an
lion, the back
is an
eagle.
(Ezek:10-l4)
b.
They have four
wings. One
spreads out
from
the
middle of the
back, and one
pair covers
the
body.
c. They have
the legs of a
man, with
cloven
feet
that
shine like
polished
brass.
d.
Have four human
hands. One
under each
wing.
They
travel in
groups of
four.
3)
Seraphims:
They
have six wings
two cover the
face,
two
cover the feet,
and two they
fly
with.
They
sing, and
glorify God,and
are around the
throne.
There
are four of
them and each
has a different
face.
One
has the face of
a lion, second
a ox or calf,
third
a
man , and the
fourth has the
face of an
eagle.
They
have eyes round
and about
them.
These
are the same as
the four beasts
of
Revelation.
4)
Living
creatures
There
are only four
of
them.
Each
has a different
face,man, lion,
ox,
eagle.
They
are covered
with eyes in
front and
behind.
They
have four
wings, and are
like the
cherubim
Except
I think they
are a little
class
lower,because
these
have the face
of a ox , and
the cherubim do
not.
They
have the face
of a cherubim
and a man. In
other
respects
they look the
same . I think
that is
why
Ezek.
thought they
were the
same.
5) Ruling
Angels
Called
principalities,
powers,
thrones,
authorities,
dominions, and
might.
These
are like
generals
,privates, etc.
in a
army.
6)Guardian
Angels
These guard,
and aid
humans
7)Angels
associated with
horses and
chariots.
 a.
The chariots of
God are
twenty
thousand
even thousand
thousands of
angels.
The
four
chariots
came from
between the
mountains
and led by
red, black,
white
and
grizzled
horses.
These are
the four
spirits of
heaven which
go forth
from
standing
before
the Lord.

angels.
These
are not
mentioned in
rank, and
the Bible
only
mentions
two.

women, and

wings like
the wings of
a stork. And
they lifted
up the ephah

between the

and the
heaven. The
basket
contained
the talent
of lead
representing
wickedness.
