You Have A Friend
No matter where your paths may lead,
no matter what you do,
remember there is one true friend
who always thinks of you.
Perhaps the roads for you are rough,
perhaps storms hide the land,
but if you reach out filled with trust
He'll take you by the hand.
And though you stumble in your fear
of what Life has in store,
you need not worry--He knows how
to open Heaven's door.
You cannot leap a thousand miles,
you'll think each step is slow,
but keep in mind that your good friend
will help you as you go,
So, take a moment now and then,
you'll find that He does care,
Attune your spirit to His will--
for love is everywhere.
Wherever you may want to be,
whatever calls to you,
remember Christ is your best Friend
and knows what's best for you.
