Griswold the Blacksmith

The Blacksmith of Tristram. He will sell you randomly generated weapons and armour and buy & repair items found on the levels. Don't bother repairing them first as his price rarely increases.

Cain the Town Elder

Found at the fountain in the centre of town. Cain can identify an item found for 100 gold pieces. Always ID items before selling to Griswold.

Pepin the Healer

Situated in the north west of the town square. Pepin will heal your wounds for free and sell you health potions and scrolls. In multiplayer games go to him for Resurrect scrolls.

Adria the Witch

Adria can be found in the south west corner of town. She will sell you mystical potions, books and scrolls and recharge, buy and sell staves.

Wirt the Peg Leg Boy

Find Wirt behind Gillian's house and across the stream, beneath a tree. He took a pretty bad beating in the dungeon and lost a leg in the process. For 50 gold pieces Wirt will show you a unique or special item he has for sale.

Dead Townsman

A dead townsman that can still do sit-ups? Strange but true, check it out.

Ogden the Tavernkeeper

Ogden is on the north east edge of the town square. He has many a story to tell. Visit him for help with your quests.

Gillian the Barmaid

Found between Ogden's Tavern and Pepin's hut. She too will help fill in gaps to information given by other townsfolk.

Farnham the Drunk

Found out of his face to the south of the town square. His drunken drivelings can reveal some useful information if you manage to decipher what he is saying.
