Message From Jesus- November 30, 2007 Thru Lec

Message From Jesus
November 30, 2007
6:45 AM

Son of my Father's will, be gracious enough to extend your helping hand to those in need. The money that you have right now might not be as valuable when dire events and repercussions in the world's financial system overtakes your local
economy.

Maximize the acts of love now which money can help bring by sharing what you have with those who have less in life or who find life too difficult to cope up with because of a lack of income.

Trust God with your money. He knows how much you have in the bank. Do not fear that you yourself and family will suffer from want if your bank balance is diminished, for the Father's ever readyreplenishment is always at hand when asked for.

The time when money loses its value is near at hand. I reiterate, be prudent! Treasures which you lay up for yourself in heaven will never be lost in the financial maelstrom that is soon to engulf the whole world.

Heaven's treasuries is the only safe depository for your earthly money. I do not say you give up
everything but in prudence, jus give what your heart is willing, no more no less.

The rich man finds it hard to enter heaven only if his whole heart and soul became totally attached to his treasures thus finding no more space in his heart for God and His Kingdom's righteousness.

The word attachment is the key. A person could be very rich but if his heart and soul are predisposed towards the God of Heaven and earth, then this proves that his anchor for salvation is not his earthly treasure but God the Most High.

A poor man may not have the resources of a rich man and therefore no attachment to riches yet if in the course of his difficult life, bereft of financial security, still fails to acknowledge and turn to God in his hardships, never repents, then the scripture saying it is hard for the rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven applies equally to the poor man.

Who is your God? God in heaven or mammon? Choose wisely! Whether rich or poor
a person has the same opportunity for salvation depending on their heart's attachment.

Go in peace son!

Medjugorje Day X Day Dec 02 - LIVE THE MESSAGES

"The whole world" should "come together to venerate and adore Christ the King hidden under the Sacramental species. Thus by sermons preached, by public adoration of the Blessed Sacrament exposed and by solemn processions, men unite in paying homage to Christ, whom God has given them for their King."

"When once men recognize, both in private and in public life, that Christ is King, society will at last receive the great blessings of real liberty, well-ordered discipline, peace and harmony" (Pope Pius XI).

"I reminded the entire Church of the central and irreplaceable nature of the Eucharist in Christian life, in order be faithful to the vocation to sanctity . . . . Make the Blessed Sacrament the pinnacle of spiritual life and an

inspiration for every missionary and apostolic project.  In effect, in the Blessed Sacrament we encounter Christ, and therefore, it is a privileged point of encounter for souls in love with Him."

"Live the just-begun Year of the Eucharist as an intense time of encounters with Christ," "discover in this incomparable treasure that Jesus left us the joy and goodness of the loving presence of the Savior"  (Pope John Paul II, November 9, 2004).

The Barber

A man went to a barber-shop to have his hair and his beard cut as always. He started to have a good conversation with the barber who attended him. They talked about various things and various subjects. Suddenly, they touched the subject of God.

The barber said: "Look man, I don't believe that God exists as you say."

"Why do you say that?" asked the client.

"Well, it's so easy, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God does not exist. Oh, tell me, if God existed, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be no suffering nor pain. I can't think of loving a God who permits all of these things."

The client stopped for a moment, thinking, but he didn't want to respond so as not to cause an argument. The barber finished his job and the client went out of the shop. Just as he got out of the barber shop he saw a man in the street with long and unkempt hair and beard (it looked like it had been a long time since he had his cut, and he looked so untidy).

The client entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:

"You know what? Barbers do not exist."

"How can you say they don't exist?" asked the barber. "I am a barber and here I am, I exist!"

"No!" the client exclaimed. "They don't exist because if they did there would be no people with long hair and beard like that man on the street." "Ah, barbers do exist, what happens is that people do not come to me."

"Exactly!" affirmed the client. "That's the point. God does exist, what happens is people don't go to Him and do not look for Him.

That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

Mother Teresa -

Suffering in and of itself is useless, but suffering which is a share in the passion of Christ is a marvelous gift for human life.

This is what people expect from us: that we fully live out our Christianity.

Meditations by Padre Pio - Divine Goodness not only does not reject repentant souls, but even goes in search of obstinate ones

Archbishop Fulton Sheen -

We must be servants of the Lord as He was for us

"When Our Divine Lord said that the great must be as the least, He made the measure of greatness usefulness and service to one's neighbor in His name. Service of others is necessary because it involves the constant repression of those egotistic tendencies in us which exalt us at the expense of others."

St. Faustina's diary  http://www.marian.org/directory_flash.html  -

Today I heard the words: In the Old Covenant I sent prophets wielding thunderbolts to My people. Today I am sending you with My mercy to the people of the whole world. I do not want to punish aching mankind, but I desire to heal it, pressing it to My Merciful Heart. I use punishment when they themselves force Me to do so; My hand is reluctant to take hold of the sword of justice. Before the Day of Justice I am sending the Day of Mercy. I replied, "O my Jesus, speak to souls Yourself, because my words are insignificant."      (1588)

Quote of the Day It was His Will that after His death the Church should give us Him image in the crucifix, that he might appear to us in a condition of utmost ignominy. And why? He did it because He knew the worth of humility and the danger of the sin which opposes it. -St. Vincent de Paul

Today's Tidbit : Viaticum is the term used to describe Holy Communion given to those in danger of death. This word is derived from Latin roots and is means of provision for a journey through death to life hereafter. Intention of the Day Please pray for all people suffering from terminal illnesses.

MEDJUGORJE DAY BY DAY

These thoughts for a day are taken from a daily meditation book based on the Messages of Our Lady of Medjugorje by Father Richard J. Beyer, Ave Maria Press.

Dec 2 - LIVE THE MESSAGES

In October of 1990, Our Lady gave the following message to Ivan and Marija's prayer group:

Dear children, tonight I invite you to pray for peace. Dear children, I want to give you new messages. I am your Mother. I wish always to teach you something new, but first of all you must live the messages I have already given you. Then I can give you new messages (Visionary Prayer Group October 15, 1990).

And from John's gospel:

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own, but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come (Jn 16: 13).

Reflection:

One of the most beautiful and inspiring hymns ever written is a source of constant faith for many. "

Lead, Kindly Light " was composed by Cardinal John Henry Newman, and was the favorite of both Franklin Roosevelt and Mahatma Gandhi. The words go like this

Lead, kindly light, amid the encircling gloom, Lead thou me on;

The night is dark, and I am far from home;

Lead thou me on.

Keep thou my feet, I do not ask to see The distant scene; one step enough for me.

As we live Our Lady's messages, our spiritual journey depends on taking one step at a time, one day at a time. This hymn could very well be our daily prayer. We don't need to do everything at once.

The visionaries themselves were gradually led by the Virgin in living her messages. For instance, she initially asked them to pray the Creed and five Our Fathers, Hail Mary's and Glory Bes. Years later they graduated to three hours of prayer daily, including the Mass and full rosary.

What we need most is to keep our feet on the path, trust God, and keep making one step, and then another, as Our Lady leads us.

Application:

Today, pray that you may not become stymied in living the Virgin's messages, but continue to heed her urgings to move ahead one step at a time.
